Good dealing with you Moz. Hated to give up that pick, but I felt I picked up a lot of quality and only moved down 2 draft spots. Considering my team needed to improve obviously I didn't mind changing things up. Gives me a lot more options at least, and I've still got two picks in round 1. I see three quality RBs in this draft and now my mind will be made up for me as to where I should go. Steve, Let me know what I have to do in regards to drops for to make this official. I think 3 guys need to be dropped.

I haven't been stockpiling picks and youth to bail out now. I'm in this for the long haul as well.
-
Lesson learned from last year: Don't trade your number one pick for a vet that will choose dope over football.
-
Say it ain't so
-
Just another way to remind me that my team blows. Damn you Ricky Williams, what a bad trade
-
Sorry about that Steve -- I sent you my three releases. As for the trade, I think it helps Moz now and me now/later. At least I have a corp group to build around now with the draft picks I've tried to stockpile.

Only .14 between our teams this week, can't get much closer than that. I'm just happy that my team has a winning record for the first time ever
-
Opened my mouth too soon LT2 was given back two points and the fumble was credited to Drew Brees. Looks like a winning record was too good to be true
-
Unreal -- when Witten scored the TD I thought I was doomed, but he never touched the ball again
-
Wow -- I was hanging on by a thread in my game and didn't notice the others I'm just happy that I got 2 wins already -- took my team about 10 weeks to do that last year
-
Let's hope it's a big night for the Eagle offense, 7 points out of TO and I actually get a win
-
Moz -- apparently can't go through officially because I need to have a defense on the roster -- don't worry I made a defensive pickup my first waiver wire move so everything is cool. Steve told me it will become official once the waiver process happens.
-
If this is true I think they should at least lose their waiver status for round 1. But that's just me
-
It is actually by tomorrow. Also I have turned off owners rights to drop players so please send them to me and we will begin the waiver wire pickups Friday. OK -- since it said they needed to be cut down by September 1st I assumed it had to be taken care of today.
-
I notice on the site that a lot of the teams are carrying more than 24 --- has the deadline past or is it the end of the day today?
-
Sounds a lot like Gamer's Inc. to me.
-
Too bad my small glimpse of hope went "up in smoke" when RW quit At least I will have a lot of good running backs to pick from in next years rookie draft.
-
And won't be anywhere near a computer. Just wanted to make everyone aware, because I'm not sure when we need to have our rosters cut down.
-
Looks like I got boned with this RW development -- and to think Moz offered me a trade for him this week and I turned it down
-
I think at least a weeks time between the cuts and the running of the waiver wire makes sense to me --- gives people a chance to look over the new FA's. I'd vote yes.
-
None of the guys I drafted are on my roster Looks like you gave them all to Beerboy.
-
That's cool -- I have no problems with the rule change but wanted to make sure that everything was updated. Steve --- is there anyway you can give the rules thread a sticky so it's always on top of the board? Thanks, Gamers Inc.

Straight from the official rules thread: "There will be a free agent add/drop period between the end of the player draft (rookie or initial) and the start of the regular season that will be conducted on a first come first serve basis. This period will end once the regular season begins the first game. There will be a period of time from Tuesday of the current week until Thursday of the current week to pick up free agents. A team wanting to pickup a free agent will have to go through the waiver wire process. The waiver wire process is setup to allow the teams with the worst records to get first selection of any free agent available in the pool." Not busting balls but if the policy has been changed then the rules need to be updated to reflect those changes.
