The other other thinks he will finish the season as a top 10 back. Thats why it made no sense to me. If you really think you're getting a top 10 RB...isnt it worth a downgrade at TE? Shonn Greene played 1 good game last season in a blowout...went back to the bench and then surprised 2 teams in the playoffs. What has this guy done to deserve the hype? The Jets are a running team so this guy is automatically a great player? Tomlinson has outplayed him in every way and Greene will split carries at best.

I would love to make you an off board side bet that MJD does not score 3 TDs in a single game this season. MJD will finish outside the top 10 running backs.

Dude you are missing the point. This is my deal in a free personal league with some friends. I have Charles/Snelling/Miller and am trying to trade them for Finley and Bowe. The person Im trying to trade to has terrible RBs plus Heap backing up at TE. We've been arguing for 3 days about it. He thinks Finley is gonna put up 20 points a game. Im saying his starting lineup gets better plus the Snelling handcuff. I posted cause I wanted to see how you guys value these players. Get past all your high school BS and just answer the damn discussion question.

I applaud the Chargers for their stand on Jackson. Where did we all get this notion that he's such a great player? He tore it up early last season but was absolutely awful in the 2nd half of the season. Who the hell is he to holdout and create such a fuss? The Chargers basically say FU to him and these diva players. Jackson probably wouldve been good on the Vikings but its a moot point now. Life goes on. The Chargers are fine without him. He and his agent are whiny greedy divas.

Zach Miller is 5-8 points per game. Finley is probably what 9-12 pts per game? So they keep a solid option at TE while getting insurance for Turner and getting a major upgrade over Shonn Greene.

Its not a question of if the trade happens. It was discussed and its just absolutely mind boggling to me how the one team could not jump on getting the leagues best handcuff plus Charles and Miller for Finley and a bench player in Bowe. Forget about asking if its a fair deal I know nobody gives 2 craps Im not one of these guys in a 10 team yahoo league. I was asking from a football perspective because it led to a big argument.

I'm involved in trade discussions in one of my leagues. I am trying to trade Snelling/Jamaal Charles and Zach Miller to another team for Finley and Bowe. They currently have Wayne/Nicks/Welker at WR and said Bowe will be only a bye week filler. This team also has Michael Turner and Shonn Greene at RB. He is hesitant to do the deal and its shocking to me that it would take more than 4 seconds to say yes. We've been arguing for 3 days so Im asking you guys for your thoughts. ohhh Houston Texans my old friend. Still on the MJD bandwagon are we? Have you watched the Jags game? You dont see something missing from MJD? only 1 catch last week in a blowout? He shouldve had at least 5 screens for big yardage. Lost a fumble...team not playing good. It is a BAD situation for MJD this year AND LIKE I SAID ALL AUGUST..... MAURICE JONES DREW WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT LIVE UP TO THE TOP 5 DRAFT PICK SO MANY PEOPLE SPENT ON HIM. Take it to the bank baby. You cant talk about last year anymore. Live in the present. Did a few mock drafts this past week. Some interesting notes... Stafford went 12th round McNabb went 10th round Ryan went 9th round Flacco went 8th round Cassel/Smith/Henne all went 13th round Garrard went 17th round This is the deepest QB pool in recent memory. If you miss out on a top QB you can definitely grab 2 solid QBs late in the draft to play matchups with. I think Stafford over 4000 yards is a lock...and so is 25 TDs. Like you said...a lot of his yards could come after Detroit is out of the game...theres lots of garbage time for Stafford to lob TDs to Calvin Johnson and Nate Burleson. McNabbs stock has dropped heavily. I still think the Skins will wind up getting another WR...but McNabb has put up good stats with a lot less. Ryan/Flacco should end the season close to each other, both are solid but won't get you those 350 yard 3 TD type games. You can count on say 220 and a TD at least most weeks. Henne I thought would go earlier and yes he's somewhat of a sleeper. Marshall definitely helps but I think people are still scared of the wildcat dampening his production. Everyones still down on Cassel....KC had great OTAs and Bowe will be back. The run game takes the pressure off and this offense should move the ball consistently. Smith is on the rise as a matchup starter, I wouldnt draft him as my starter but he would start for my team a few times. I have no faith in Garrard. I can't picture the Jags being good this year. Garrard was awful in 2009 and he only has Sims-Walker to throw to.

I'm jumping into this one late but here's a few deep sleepers....a deep sleeper to me is a guy you get around the 10th round of your draft or later who winds up starting for your team at least a few times. DEVIN THOMAS - Big upside with a capable QB in McNabb JACOBY JONES - Deep threat on a great offense with a great QB DEMARYIUS THOMAS - Denver can't afford to take him off the field...playing time alone should make him worthy of a few starts JERRICHO COTCHERY - Everyone is all over Edwards and Holmes....but what about Cotchery? Holmes misses 4 games and Edwards needs stucco. Cotch went in the 12th round of a mock I did the other day. TORRY HOLT - Definitely worth a late round gamble. Holts resume alone plus playing with Tom Brady makes him worth a late pick.

Agree with kym if Gore was guaranteed to be healthy all 16 games he'd be hard to pass up at any draft spot especially this year. We all know the MJD argument. Id rank the top 5... Peterson Johnson Gore Rice MJD

Yeah I think 7th round or so sounds right. There will likely be a doofus in your league who still takes him in the 4th or 5th round but getting him and grabbing a filler late sounds like a good plan. Given the suspension he can't afford to hold out anymore so I expect VJ back on the field week 4. Where do you take Floyd? He'll be the #1 the first 3 weeks and he's been tagged as a sleeper even before JAcksons suspension.
