    WR questions

Is D Jackson a WR #1 on your team? Is Jabar Gaffney a WR #2 on your team?

Sidney Rice Is Out Half The Season

Wow! A million posts on this already. For me he is undraftable. I won't draft someone that is unavailable for 6-8 weeks and questionable thereafter.

    sorry

    R. Brown and Rice both have injury concerns, but I think you could do worse. Personally, those would be my picks. Both high risk but also high reward. If you decide to pick up Rivers do you think you would get something in kind for him? Are you thinking of trading him later. If you are thinking of trading him later, can you afford to have a high draft pick like him on your bench? If you took WR/WR would they both start for your team? (do you start 2 WR or 3?) If they both start at WR, I think you might have to rethink picking up Rivers. If one of those guys is going to sit for you, why not pick him up? He would be an awesome backup for Rodgers who got sacked 50 times last year and if something bad happened you would be set with a very promising back-up. If he sits on your bench for a few weeks and lights it up, it would only make a trade that more inevitable and you would be sitting in the driver seat. Don't worry about being a jerk, jerks laugh all the way to the bank.

    Forte...waste of time?

I am another that thinks he will rebound and outperform his ADP.

    Ryan Grant

Let's say you pickup A. Johnson R. White in rd 1 and 2 then got R Grant in rd 3 that aint too bad. Again like others, he might not be flashy, but drafting toward the bottom of the draft you shouldn't expect flashy RB's--that's where the flashy receivers are . If you got Grant as a #2 RB you are doing fine or a #1 with two similar receivers to those listed above, you could do worse. Don't discount the man--he is solid and will get his numbers.
  6. I vote everybody comes with a 12 pack and a blank piece of paper only. Draft from memory only--now that would be interesting!

Leinart's influence over every Cardinal's value

I'm not a big fan of Leinart either, however I won't steer away from Cards on draft day. As many have said, in one way or another, a players value based on where you get him is what's important. Yeah I dropped Fitz in my rankings, but that doesn't mean I am going to pick some RB like an unproven Mathews instead of him. I might grab a Roddy White or maybe even a Greg Jennings instead. Both Fitz and Wells are draftable. (duh) I definitely wouldn't draft Leinart!

Tell me why not to draft Michael Turner

If you are in a PPR league I would choose Gore. If not, I have no reason to sway you from Turner. I think they are both pretty close without PPR. Good Luck

    [**OFFICIAL 2010 SOILOST FANTASY RANKINGS**]

Some funny ones in there, but what the heck is "They’ll be calling him Pwnens by mid-season." "

    Tier 1 QBs...I count 6 of them.

Didn't Eli Manning throw for over 4000 yds and 27 TD's last year? This might warrant him being on/close to this list. I have some issues with him, but he sure does have pedigree on his side and some up and coming receivers.

    Free Agents

We have had to make similar changes. 1. 5 dollar fee 2. Transactions begin 8PM of Tuesday evening with a 24 hour rule that stipulates if two people put in for the same guy, the team with the worst record gets dibs. If they have the same record it goes to total points. 3. Teams have the right to grab one player at a time. For example, a team who has a 1-4 record cannot have the rights to pick up as many players as he chooses just because he is "low man" This works pretty well --not perfect but it does us fine.

    Draft day help

Been tryin' for years, unfortunatley i keep getting shot down by a bunch of tradition is everything. Also, it is inevitable that someone can't make the draft making that much harder.

    Thoughts on JAHVID BEST

There is something about a guy who has the name BEST that kinda scares me. I watched this guy all year last year and the year before. He is the real deal. If he can stay away from injuries, he can score you major fantasy cred.

    Draft day help

O.K. It seems like we have decided to try something new this year in lieu of picking numbers for our draft slots. We have decided to have a contest for draft position and have thrown around a few ideas like--homerun derby (wiffle ball, drinking contest, darts and a few others. Although these might work, I figured I would throw it out to the masses in hopes that I get a real good one.
