OMG Ezekial Elliot is beasting on the Seattle D!
svtballa replied to track 1's topic in FFToday Board
I think people are trying to dissect too much with Zeke and over think things. Listen 2 years ago Murray was the #1 rb. Last season from Oct 25 till the last game (thats when Mcfadden took over starting duties) he finished as the #3 RB. Thats 2 straight season the cowboys have produced a top 3 starting RB. Now you see ALF look like a new man and ZEKE carving up a legit Seatle D. This kid is a lock to finish top 5. easy money -
12 man standard league. 2WR/2RB/flex. Julio/Alshon/Latavius. Miller/Alshon/Watkins. ???

PPR 12 man league? Assuming Brown/Jones/OBJ are gone? Bell?Gurley?Hopkins?
-
take a flier on Oakland. Looking like its going to be a very formaditable defense this year
-
From week 9 on he averaged 5.4 receptions a game and 100 yards. In that span he was the #3 WR. Some drafts hes being had int the 4th round. Thoughts on Watkins?

Bell went at #5??????

Good read here. Looks like he was playing through a knee and ankle injury. I am targeting Hill in all my drafts. http://www.cincyjungle.com/2016/7/22/12227972/bengals-2016-comeback-player-of-the-year-candidate-no-8-jeremy-hill

Are we or I overthinking things with Gurley? I keep telling myself tough schedule/unproven QB/Bad team ECT. But bottom line the kid a physical freak who is the focal point of an offense looking at around 280+ touches? I see some people with Bell/AD/DJ/E.E ranked ahead of him? this quick video sums it up. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-total-access/0ap3000000648573/Is-Ezekiel-Elliott-a-better-prospect-than-Todd-Gurley

I am joining a .25PPR league this summer. How would you guys approach? More towords a standard?

Whats eye popping to me is Jeremy Hill. He posts fairly poor %s inside the 20/43% and 10/50% meaning Gio gets the ball more in those situations barring the 5 yard line. But hill has still led the League in TD'S over the past 2 years combined. The kid just has a nose for the Endzone.

NO CHEATING!!! very interesting Running Back A" is a flat-out stud. Since he came into the NFL, no running back has scored more rushing touchdowns. In fact, since joining the league there are only five active running backs with more total fantasy points. If half the battle is just showing up, as the old saying goes, it's no surprise this guy wins so often. He never has missed a game in his NFL career, even after a season in which it seemed as if every running back got hurt. A true chain-moving workhorse, only three running backs have more first downs during the past two seasons than our guy who is also tough to tackle. Among active running backs, he's eighth in total yards after contact since 2014. But it's not just between the 20s for Running Back A, as only one back has more carries in goal-to-goal situations since he came into the league. He averaged 7 yards per reception and is involved in every part of his team's offense -- no RB/WR/TE touched the ball more on his team last season -- and that's a good thing, since last season his squad was one of the 10 highest-scoring offenses in football. Per Tristan H. Cockcroft's always-helpful consistency rankings, only six RBs were a "stud" more often last season (A "stud" being defined as a top-five finish at the position for the week). So he single-handedly carried your team for a week a number of times last season. Super consistent, he has been a top-15 fantasy running back every single year he has been in the NFL, he's coming off a career high in both touches and touchdowns, and with the offseason losses to the team's passing game, expect them to lean on Running Back A even more this season, making him an easy selection early in your draft.

For those who didnt read the article...Guess the player!

Second part was RB-B and how he under prerormed which was Hill. Bottom lime is Hill is being over looked this year. Sleep on him all you want but he will be on my roster. -
Jeremy Hill has the most rushing touchdowns in the past 2 seasons combined. He has 20...... Next closet person is Lamar Miller with 16

I love the value Golden Tate offers. 99 catches in 2014/ 90 in 2015. Hes going right now as the 24Th WR off the board. In a PPR I would be thrilled at landing him in the mid 4th round and potentially being my #3 WR.
-
How are you guys playing him this year? 2014 he played in 1 game. 2015 hes missed 3 and left the pro bowl game in a walking boot. His ADP is 4th round. Me personally I will not be drafting him this year unless he falls which he wont. Thoughts?

Looks like my assesment was spot on.

Most people including myself have a bad taste in their mouth from drafting him in the first round this past season. I myself always hold grudges the upcoming year and quick to write people off. Here is a blurb on CJ "Following Denver's Week 7 bye, however, the tide turned. During the final 11 weeks of the regular season, Anderson averaged a position-high 6.4 YPC. That included 2.8 yards after contact per attempt, which was best among 38 backs who carried the ball more than 70 times. Despite missing a game and ranking 35th at the position in carries, Anderson finished 19th at the position in fantasy points during the span, which included a trio of Top 20 finishes over his final five games. Anderson, of course, truly exploded onto the fantasy scene during the 2014 season. A comparison of Anderson to the rest of the league during the past two years shows he stacks up with the best in the business. In terms of YPC, his 4.67 mark trails only Le'Veon Bell (4.76), Lamar Miller (4.81) and Justin Forsett (4.87) among 30 backs with at least 300 carries. According to Pro Football Focus, Anderson's 68 forced missed tackles are eighth-most in the league during the span. His average of one per every 4.87 carries is fourth-best (min. 200 carries)." Factor in the fact he started slow and an injury to his foot. Manning running the show and Hillman stealing touches I think he has a great chance to finish as a #1 RB this year. HE can be had in the late second round and depending on the people drafting maybe the third.

Thoughts? I like the move for both Forte/Brady. If Brady goes into the season with Gronk/Edleman/Forte hes a top 3 QB in my book
-
After the bad taste he left in every ones mouth this past season hes probably going to be a second round pick. He posses great upside even in the second round. Hes on my radar http://www.stack.com/a/p90x-eddie-lacy-isnt-fat-anymore

Can we get some Offseason Jeremy hill love? In my league he was the #14 RB in total points. 800rushyds-12 total tds. Gio had 2 total touchdowns last year. The Bengals had the #1 most difficult rushing schedule last year and hill still finished #14. He had a flat out bad year in my eyes while going up against the #1 rushing schedule and still finished #14. Hes going to slip into the 4th/5th round i think this year. I still feel like he has huge upside. Thoughts?

2016 Earlybird Fantasy Draft *****UPDATED to 9-10****
svtballa replied to tubby_mcgee's topic in FFToday Board
Way to high on Newton. Brady led all QB's with 22 or more fantasy points 11 times. Newton did it 9 times. Id much rather Brady in the 3/4th than Newton in the 1st. -
This is why I made the thread ^^^^
