The tight end isn't just a safety valve for rookie qbs, but young qbs in general. I used those stats to illustrate that Thigpen is a servicable quarterback, and is more than capable of getting the ball to playmakers. That being said, Thigpen has one season of starts under his belt, and hasn't played since so to assume this guy is going to come in, and immediately improve is foolish. The only evidence we have of thigpen's ability is that season, and since he hasn't played since then it's not a big stretch to assume he continues what he has done...When thigpen came in last week, fasano caught 4 balls and a td. Not quality analysis, but at least it was thought out.

Tyler thigpen in 2006 started 14 games with the Chiefs. That season Tony G had 95 catches and Dwayne Bowe had 75 catches. I'd say Fasano's value goes up, but Marshall's will stay the same. He might have a better chance to get a td on a broken play, but it's still the run run dolphins.

Slim, but the silver lining is that he doesn't go to court until December 10(? or sometime around then) so I don't think the NFL can actually punish him until he is convicted. Once convicted expect a 3-4 game suspension a la vjax DUI punishment. I'm a dj owner too

Felix jones weight is a non issue. Read up on it before posting the same recycled news. Anyways, felix isn't a number 1 rb, but I expect his numbers to rise. I expect a more ground oriented game plan with shots downfield to keep the d honest. Whether he's running or catching the check down, Felix is going to see more work now that romo is gone.

Yeah because it's so much more likely the Seahawks will get into a bunch of GL situations than Jones bustin one out...I take Felix all day. Better; player, team, and opportunity even w/o the matchup.

I think the FA process faster than the waivers. So if you put a claim In on a guy that no one else did then that processes faster than if 2 guys put it in on the same guy.

2-3 hours spread over 4 leagues, and I spend most of my time reading local writers trying to get info before it becomes news. Just trying to stay ahead of the rest and win that $$

I live in Indy and I have been hearing about this all week. Clark is def out w a wrist for a long time. The only reason a player seeks a second opinion is bc he doesn't like the prognosis from the team doctor, which seems to be season ending. Collie is out for a few weeks after hand surgery too. Clark will be replaced by Eldridge and Tamme in sort oF TE timeshare. I've read that Collie will more than likely be replaced by Blair White rather than Anthony Gonzalez. I don't have links but like I said, I've been hearing/reading about this all week.

During the season about 2-3 hours a day Monday-Thursday. Read the practice reports on Friday. Nothing on Saturday. Then watch football all Sunday. I spend A LOT of time doing my draft in July so the season is just me constantly "updating" and re-evaluating situations/position battles.

I think this has more to do with PT or Bush's injury than Betts performance. PT hasn't practiced or even attempted to practice in 2 weeks, and Bush broke his leg. My guess is that PT's injury is a bit more serious than originally thought bc they brought in more pass blocking depth. Teams generally don't make roster moves based on one bad game.

I like Ivory, but Betts is the better play. He is involved in the passing game (it's the Saints!), and he doesn't fumble. However if PT is back, I'd take Ivory over Betts bc he'd become the big play/change of pace kind of back.

I live in Indy, and I have not read anything about Collie and a hamstring issue in our local papers. The only thing I've read or heard about is a heel issue.
