  1. I wouldn't. Goff is decent enough to get more. I get that you might not be starting Goff but Mostert is in a 3x timeshare, so no upgrade there really. I don't know your TE situation so I can't comment there. But, the way I feel is, Goff deserves a bigger trade and if you trade him for Bench players you're just going to end up facing him for nothing on the $. Now, if you WANT Goff to face you, go for it. lol. I agree with Weepaws.
  2. Idk where I'm at with Brown this week. I just don't think they're going to use him much this week aside from some maybe GO routes or as a decoy, considering he doesn't have a grasp of their precise offense yet. So, I'm leaning towards Breida. What say you? I also have Fitzy on the bench.

emmanuel sanders? Ouch! I feel you there. I don't know your squad but, after week 1, I might have benched him too. I feel ya.
  4. pure guessing, but I'm going to say Jones does. Keenum hasn't been half bad and I think the Giants drew up enough favoritism for Jones during the preseason.

well hell, if that didn't come true! LOL. I did end up going with Breida but obviously it didn't matter, they all scored close to the same amount of points. Larry would have made me a nervous wreck all game, lol, but he did come through in garbage time.

Would You Have Done This Trade?

Trades can be extremely pesky. While you might have given up much, you do what works for you With Lavar and Rivers, and I don't know your current WR situation, it's not bad trade, hoping you came out with a wr that fits good in your lineup. Overall, it's not a bad trade. Brady doesn't matter in your lineup (I get that) and Westbrook isn't a player you want. It's a risky trade but I get where you're going with it. It's a win for them and you.

Over Breida, over Antonio, why Fitz (after last week's crap shoot into OT? Gut feeling? or how do you seeing it playing out for Fitz in a ppr? I get either of your takes, just narrowing it down on why you would go Fitz, nothing is right or wrong.

    Need WR: Boyd or DJax

PPR? Boyd for sure. Standard, I'd feel safer with djax right now.

I'm going to wish you luck too, I completely understand going with Mclaurin. It's hard for me to roll with a Redskin, but man, that's a hard guy not to try with. Ugh, I hear you on Breida. It's one of those things where he had his best games against me last season, lol, 49er guy. Fitzy has my heart, but, ugh, I feel I might be underestimating Cinci's run D atm going with Breida. You brought up a good point.

Axe, we all have different looks on the ff game. I see things you might not and you see things I might not, which is why I posted this. Your arguments for "Fitzy, in the case" are what I want to hear, I truly appreciate it! I've been playing a lot of years and don't post here to ask "who should I play" and immediately plug him in, I post for discussion most of the time. Like Byrdman, had a great point up above. But no man, I HEAR you, I'm not ignoring you. Just discussing with the board.

    Amari Cooper Trade?

I see your point. For me, 22 pts last week in ppr is what I'm worry about. Kenny Golladay, he is <Lockett and <= to Allen Rob. Mixon is < Kamara and <>= Damien. It's an upgrade at RB, not much at WR but def not enough of an upgrade to give a proven TE up to replace the TE position. The only way Delanie isn't a top 6 TE this year is by injury. OJ could get him some points, or none. It's not a bad trade offer. Just not one I'd do given his wr and rb roster with no TE to sub. Kenny and Mixon won't make up for that if Delanie stays healthy. imo

    A. Brown or Breida? full ppr

EXACTLY! That is exactly what I'm saying. Even if Larry is Murray's #1 I don't want to wait 3/4 of the game to see a catch and hope it goes into overtime for more.

    Amari Cooper Trade?

I'm going to say NO. TE are the gold mines this season, there's only a few that have big scoring potential, Delanie being one of them. None of the players you are getting are much of an upside to what you already have. Unless you can pick up Detroits TE off the waiver or Andrews (TE), don't give away yours. I would consider it if you already have a decent TE. If you don't, don't give up one. Mixon is your upside but, Imo, Oj Howard is a decent downgrade from Delanie. Brate just has too much influence in that offense right now. Shoot, OJ felt like he didn't even play last week.
  15. Singletary. I'm HOPING Jones becomes their #1 as a USC fan, but Singletary has a ton of upside atm.

    Sit TY Hilton?

Honestly, I just think Ross has the upside this week. I'm not sure where either of these guys are in their current situation. Ty without Luck (although he had a great game, might get 2x up), Ross (fluke game or no?). I'd go Ross for this one week to test the water.

    Change my mind!

I would probably start Watson over Brady also. Against Miami, it's quite possible that the Pats score their TDs with RBs. Brady looked great in week 1, I've just been down the road of having Brady a lot in the past to know that he doesn't always score the most points with passing. Kupp 100% over Brown. Kupp has proven to be vital in their offense. Brown had a great week and might have another, who knows. But Kupp is established, Brown relies on the deep ball as far as we know atm. You're straight at RB and TE, start those.

I absolutely agree with that statement, 100%. And because of that, it's quite possible all of the def backfield focus gets put on Fitz, though I think they'll focus more on pressuring Murray to get it out quick than doubling a wr. But no, that offense is way too early, for me, to RELY on Fitz for upside points. Everything for Fitz came late. Now, if we see a drastic improvement in Arizona's offense and Fitz is getting 10+ looks, then.. imo

    A. Brown or Breida? full ppr

It's not that I think Breida will get all of the carries, I get where what you're saing. The way that guy gets injured, they will surely time share his touches. I am merely speaking for this week and against those two players I mentioned, Fitz and Antonio. I'm not playing Breida as my #1, just a fill in until we see what offense Arizona brings this week and where Antonio is in the Pats offense. I don't trust either of those players this week, just Breida's carries and possible pass catching. I can be a risk taker for upside, just not this week with the players I have, if that makes sense. The point of my thread was to have someone talk me out of benching Brown or talk me into the other 2. Unfortunately neither of these 3 are super promising this week.

    A. Brown or Breida? full ppr

If we were in the middle or back end of the season it would be a no brainer. But, after one week, to me it's like saying that John Ross III is a top 5 wr so start him. I have faith in Larry to catch a good ball thrown to him but I just don't have a ton of faith in their offense at this moment. I need to see that offense for a couple more weeks to know that Larry will consistently get the ball to him. Breida is guaranteed points this week barr injury.

Do I bench K.Allen for Cupp??

I'm not going to read every response. But no, do not bench Allen this week. The Rams are loaded with possible options, and I think this is a good week for Allen. If it was my team, Allen would absolutely be in there against Kupp. Too many other options against Kupp, comparing to Allen.

    John Brown

Pick Brown up with an asterisk . He has the ability to get his catches, get open, etc. His QB is his biggest downside. I picked him up in a couple of ppr leagues. He's got a decent ceiling (imo), but he's not a sure thing right now. But he holds promise

    Greg Olsen rest of way

This is exactly it. Olsen is an always top TE on the Panthers, but health is his key issue. Who are you dropping for him? As a Howard owner, I'd drop Howard atm for Olsen. Not because Olsen will always outscore but Howard isn't looking like he's in favor as a #1 TE atm. Olsen's big thing is his health. If it was me, I'd drop Howard (not much hope against Brate, atm) and pick up Olsen. Though, it could change in the next week or two.

Derek Carr - Talk me out of it...

I'm a Fresno State homer, this is exactly how I'd put it. Carr is a stud, he is. He can make every throw, including the big Go routes. It's all about play calling and his teammates. Like Wee said, he can have a very good game but I'm not sure he'll crack top five at the moment.

    A. Brown or Breida? full ppr

Honestly, that's where I'm leaning, I think, atm. Especially with Coleman out. I really just needed someone to talk me into Brown to start him in his first week in NE with a precise offense. Brown is playing, and very might well get some good numbers. Just Belichick's offense is so unpredictable for new receivers and, I don't believe, he's the #1 in week 2. I appreciate all opinions and would love more if you have a different take or one that supports Brown, Breida, Fitzy, etc.
