The Democratic National Convention!!

You're correct, I misquoted him. He didn't say he wanted to "fundamentally change America." He said "we are 5 days away from fundamentally transforming The United States of America." -

You don't know? That was Obama's platform. He set the plan in motion. Trump got in the way for a few years but Biden's administration picked up where Obama left off and Harris wants to continue the transformation. -

Maybe because Republicans have never ran on a platform of "fundamentally changing America." You don't set out to fundamentally change a country you love. You try to fundamentally change a country you hate. -

It should last a little while longer. I mean, rather than give live interviews or a single press conference, she's been practicing her speech for a month now. She should kill it. So the hype will last another few days. -

So, no? Lemme guess, a week of zero substance and a lot of orange man bad. Pretty close I'd bet. -

I have to give my wife the credit for that one. I never would've seen that movie if it weren't for her.

Apparently, an offensive lineman signaling a touchdown by raising his arms straight up is now "taunting" in today's NFL. This sport is dead.
-
Yeah, I wasn't watching the game when I saw the penalty get called.

I recognized the star in the second frame. Then put that together with the first frame and thought to myself "what movie is Mark Wahlberg in that's about gambling?" I still couldn'tget it.

I just remembered they finished this thing today. Congrats @Strike on the W!

Maybe. It could've been any number of things. 25A, public calls for him to step down or something more nefarious. Sean seemed to be suggesting there was no threat. I think it's pretty obvious there was, given his recent insistence that he wasn't going anywhere and then all of a sudden "changing his mind" a week later.

It's a fact that Pelosi threatened to do something if Joe didn't drop out. What that something is only they know for sure.
-
I'm saying they tried to get him to step aside but initially he refused to do so. So they posted that letter to X without his knowledge or consent. Then they threatened him, presumably with the 25th amendment, but only Pelosi, Obama and Biden know for sure. At that point he reluctantly agreed to step aside. But he didn't really have a choice. And I'm standing up for democracy, not democrats. The Dem party hijacked the process, foisted a new nominee on the country and didn't give the voters a say. Nobody voted Harris for potus. Had there been a primary she would not be the nominee.

Stevie Wonder could see that wasn't Joe Biden's signature on that letter.

That's exactly what they did.
