It's a felony to lie on the form. Many people have been sent to prison for months to years for having done so. Hunter's problem stems from lying about being addicted to drugs at the time of purchase. Ironically, it was Hunter who subsequently admitted to being a crack addict at the time of purchase that landed him in this mess. He should've stfu but his narcissism wouldn't let him.

Gun rights advocates are perfectly fine supporting Hunter Biden being prosecuted for a crime they themselves would spend time in jail for. However, as I pointed out above, this is the perfect case to remove an unconstitutional requirement, vis-a-vis the 4473. This case could be a huge win for gun rights in this country. I'm interested to see how it plays out.
