Guitarist from The Smiths calls for Trump to stop using their songs at rallies: 'Consider this s--t shut down'

Just telling you how it was in NorCal in the mid to late 80's. Mods rode vespas and hung out with the trenchcoated goths. They all hung out together listened to the same depressing music. Maybe they were confused about what they were. I wasn't part of that crowd. I had friends and played sports. But I listened to everything from The Smiths to AC/DC to David Allen Coe to Dead Kennedys to The Doors to Johnny Cash to Sigue Sigue Sputnik to The Clash to Peter Tosh to The Dead Milkmen. -

All of those bands had the same fans. And there was no such thing as 80's emo. They were mods/goths (same crowd of freaks at my school). Emo came much later. -

Most kids who liked The Who in the 80's, weren't intoThe Smiths, Depeche Mode, The Cure or any of the other melancholy bands that were popular with the mods in my high school. -
That's why they need to keep importing votes at a pace that will overcome the will of the American people by election month.

I was in high school in the 80's. The people who were into The Smiths, Depeche Mode, The Cure... were called Mods. Mods subsequently morphed into emo. But, out of all the bands that were popular with mods, The Smiths, by far, were the most "emo." -

The whole emo thing began because of them. A lot of people that listened to their music ended up cutting themselves. Probably not coincidental. -
Woman stabs bf 108 times to death, no jail time

She should be locked up for life. That b!tch stabbed a dog! Also, how in the hell is "cannabis induced psychosis" a defense? How is that any different from a drunk driver who plows into another car and kills somebody? -
Throw some hippos and crocodiles in the river. Then set up targets on the north side and let the NG use it for arty practice 24/7.

Although, with my schedule, I'm prolly up earlier than a lot of the East Coast geeks. -
Yeah, I zoomed in, saw it and took a guess. I would've gotten it later but my hunch paid off.

You spelled "played the system" wrong. He didn't make the rules, he just exploited them. Like hiring illegals so you don't have to pay them minimum wage. -

Of course. You bozos like to point out all the times he's declared bankruptcy. What is that if not admitting defeat? He tried, he failed, he admitted it. -

I took the 9ers over the Ravens in the shark toof contest but Detroit winning it all would be good. It's been a long time coming. Those fans would go nuts rebuilding the city. -
