Meh, I think most of the rabble-rousing is coming from people who didn't drink Bud Light to begin with.

They put themselves in a terrible position. If they come out and say "it was a mistake to partner with a divisive social media influencer who doesn't reflect our morals or values..." Then the woke mob comes for them. If they don't come out and say that, then the anti-woke mob keeps up the current assault. And, let's be honest, even if they do come out and say it, there will still be psychos out there that want to ruin them over this. Either way they stand to lose money and market share. I think they've put the situation behind them and are looking toward the future. They're taking their lumps and will deal with fallout. Which is pretty much all they can do at this point.

But she has been removed from her position and has no new responsibilities at the company. So the outcome is the same.

If you opposed cancel culture before but support it now, you're a hypocrite. Plain and simple.

I just told you it wasn't a campaign. It was a one off and they fired the person responsible for it. What more would you like them to do?

I'm pretty sure the point was made and taken. If this had been a national campaign, if they'd had this dude driving the team of Clydesdales in a Super Bowl commercial or something like that, it would be different. This was a one off social media stunt initiated by a single woke exec. who is no longer with the company. And it pales in comparison to the years and years of support AB has given to organizations like Folds of Honor. If a single can of Bud Light means more than the $22+ million AB has raised for military families over the years then, by all means, keep up with the pitchforks and torches. Just know it isn't only AB you're hurting in the process.

This. The same people who railed against cancel culture for years are now celebrating an iconic American company suffering the same fate over something so insignificant. Tearing down statues = Tearing down businesses = It's ridiculous.
