  1. That's not a policy. It's the national pastime.
  2. Exactly. The gun didn't grab him and go to FSU to shoot a bunch of people. He stole a gun to go do it. He was the problem.
  3. Because the overwhelming majority of legal gun owner's would never do something like shoot up a school or mall. There are 100's of millions of guns in private hands. A miniscule amount of them are ever used to commit any type of crime. Kids used to bring rifles to school a few decades ago so they could hunt on the way home. They never shot up their schools. Mass shootings are a relatively new phenomenon. Something changed to make mass shootings more prevalent than they ever were but it isn't the guns. They haven't changed much in recent history. People have. It's the change in people that has resulted in the rise in mass shootings. I don't know what that change was but it seems to have coincided with Columbine. Maybe it's the sensationalism that followed and the fact that previously unknown nerds became national news overnight and mentally unstable people, who want to emulate those idiots, feel committing a mass shooting is the quickest way to make themselves known. Guns are a tool. They are used far more often for good than they are for nefarious purposes. But the nefarious uses make for better headlines. Headlines encourage weak minded, sick individuals to engage in behavior that will get their name in those headlines. And they see it as a way to make a name for themselves in a society that doesn't give a sh!t about them because they are insignificant, like most of us.
  4. Cool. So he could be anti Trump and just finds unhinged liberals entertaining. Or he could be pro Trump but disagrees with his policies. Or he could just be a fockin nutjob who shot a bunch of people because he's a fockin nutjob.
  5. You realize that quote doesn't prove whether he was for or against Trump, right?

    Him a good boy

I have a Black Lab/Great Pyrenees mix. He's very protective. GP's are great dogs. That said, How TF does a 2 year old "wander" several miles from home before his parents realize he's gone? I'm not a parent but I'm pretty sure I'd realize my two year old wasn't where I left him when I returned 30 seconds later.
  7. Sounds like he and weepaws would hit it off.
  8. Sure. If you ignore his participation in anti-Trump rallies.
  9. I don't blame you. You'd just look silly trying to say poor white trash enjoy any kind of privilege.
  10. His preferred sources lied to him again.
  11. There's one thing Trump can do to help make us safer from wackjobs illegally using guns to slaughter innocent civilians. Outlaw Gun Free Zones.
  12. This from a guy who got shot and he's 100% correct. Then you have a bunch of pearl clutching 'mos who don't know the first thing about guns clamoring for MOAR GUN KUNTROL! Fock outa here.
  13. "The first successful repeating rifle to see actual service in conflict was the famous air rifle designed in 1780 by Italian inventor Bartolomeo Girardoni (1744–1799) for the Austrian Army. This was a rifled carbine with an air reservoir that had a gravity-fed magazine and held twenty .46-caliber round balls. Each round was brought into battery by the flick of a thumb lever on the left side of the receiver, allowing a bullet to fall into the breech chamber. Just a cocking of the hammer primed the air chamber and a pull of the trigger released enough air pressure to propel the projectile with close to 700 feet per second velocity down range to the target, where at 100 yards it would penetrate into an inch of wood" Semi auto rifles have been around a very long time. Psychos using them to gun down innocent, unarmed civilians is a very recent phenomenon. It's not the guns.

  15. Bump for @The Real timschochet Do poor white trash in Appalachia enjoy "white privilege?"
  16. I haven't gotten one. Not worried about it. But where are all the Democrats claiming this is raciss because blacks don't know how to obtain ID?
  17. The term "white privilege" exists. There is no inherent privilege in being white in America. Perhaps the disparity you're thinking of is cultural or behavioral. But it isn't racial. Do the PWT in Appalachia enjoy "white privilege?" If so, how? But blacks, as a group, are not disadvantaged. Individually, maybe but that is largely due to personal choices and behavior in 2025 America. It isn't built into the system. Poor whites have more in common with poor blacks than they do with rich whites. It's not racial.
  18. You mean the thread "you forgot about?" I've never bumped a thread I forgot about. Because I forgot about it. Also, link to me saying anybody lied.
  19. There was no evidence of so called "white privilege" in your link. Zero. It was nothing more than somebody assuming they were treated one way or another because of their skin color.
