Drafting the right handcuff isn't easy either. Adrian Peterson - McKinnon so easy to pick up late rounds 2 Le'Veon Bell - was it known Dwill was backup at draft time? 3 Eddie Lacy - Starks easy to draft late rounds 4 Marshawn Lynch - you would have picked up Turbin or Cmike and wasted a draft pick 5 Jamaal Charles KC - most would have drafted Knile Davis and cried later 6 C.J. Anderson - Hillman probably drafted higher than late rounds. Even if you had him, wasn't winning you games 7 Jeremy Hill CIN - Bernard doesn't last to late rounds 8 Matt Forte CHI - not sure if Langford was clear cut back up at draft time. 9 DeMarco Murray PHI - Mathews might have gone earlier than late rounds 10 LeSean McCoy - not sure anyone knew who Karlos Williams was during draft 11 Justin Forsett BAL - would have drafted Taliaferro instead of Buck Allen 12 Lamar Miller - Ayagi was not available beginning of season

I am Now A Firm Believer in Zero RB Theory

Interesting stats I just read: 1. Only seven players rushed for more than 1,000 yards this year. Just nine years ago, the 1,000-yard club included 23 runners and the lowest total in the past 15 years had been 13. That seven is the fewest number since 1991, when Emmitt Smith led the league with 1,563 yards and Barry Sanders, Thurman Thomas, Rodney Hampton, Earnest Byner, Gaston Green and Christian Okoye also hit the mark. (Oddly, that was the year Thomas won the MVP despite finishing third in rushing yards.) Peterson’s 1,485 was also the second-lowest winning total since ’90. Only LaDanian Tomlinson’s 1,474 yards in 2007 was lower. 2. The top 10 rushers in the NFL in 2015, along with their average preseason fantasy football draft rank on ESPN: 1) Adrian Peterson, No. 3 2) Doug Martin, No. 97 3) Todd Gurley, No. 60 4) Darren McFadden, No. 116 5) Chris Ivory, No. 64 6) Latavius Murray, No. 62 7) Devonta Freeman, No. 112 8)Jonathan Stewart, No. 51 9) Frank Gore, No. 48 10) DeAngelo Williams, No. 121 3. The amount of receivers in the 1,000 club: 26. That’s the most since at least 2002 (the last year for which I could find data).

    Official Week 16 F.U. thread........

Fock the entire steelers team. I hope they hit vomit inducing turbulence on their flight home, because they make me sick! I got 9 points from Marty Bryant, the kicker and the retarded defense

    James Jones

Dropped him before last Sunday. All you Jones owners are welcome.

    Ivory? Should have started Ebony

I blame Jets defense. They let Texans walk all over them. Jets were in comeback mode most of the game, therefore they had to throw more.

Monday Night - Whadda Ya Need?

League #1 Need Tyrod Taylor to get me at least 15 pts. Not sweating this one. Can afford a loss. League #2 Need Sammy Watkins to score 17 points plus whatever Blount scores. So hopefully Patriots score a ton through the air and force the Bills to air it out and chase. ..yea not happening

ROS J Matthews or D Amendola?

Higher floor - Amendola, especiall PPR Higher ceiling - ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I doubt Amendola gets many end zone looks. Blount and Gronk will get first chance. Matthews often gets an endzone toss, but he more often than not, drops it.
  8. As a DT owner, I'm praying that he has a special game with his mother in attendance. This will be the first time his mother will watch his game in person. She has been in prison since he was a child.

    ProFootballFocus

Was anyone using that site? I was a frequent visitor for their Premium Statistics. Their player ratings can be disputed, but I loved having week to week snap counts. Helped out a lot in terms of knowing how players were used by their teams. But PFF has closed Premium Statistics to the public. You have buy a super expensive license to access it and the only people who are going to pay that kind of money are teams and major media outlets. Anyone know of another source of stats similar to PFF?

Yes thank you so much Filthy! The way they break it down is even better than PFF. Any other sites/tools to share for us football geeks?

    Pettigrew and Ebron in Detroit

Ebron gets the majority of snaps over Pettigrew now, but it might have to do with the Lions always playing from behind.

    Chris Givens

I tried to stash him in my 14 team league, but another owner got to him already. He's a go route specialist and Flacco loves throwing the long ball. 16.1 yards a catch, so you hope with more snaps and targets, he can be productive. Flacco is easily the best QB he has had his whole career.

    What's up with Ivory?

Looked great beginning of the year, but looks like he's hit the wall. Averaging 1.6 yards a carry for the last three games. Is he hiding an injury?

    What's up with Ivory?

Thank you for this info. I was mislead into thinking Jaguars were soft against run based previous seasons.

    What's up with Ivory?

At 1.5 yards a carry and a guarantee 15 carries, he has a nice floor of 2 points a game. Plus touchdown upside!

Floyd a must play with Allen out in SD?

Last season, during the last two games of the season when Allen was out, Inman posted decent numbers for a flex option in PPR leagues. 12 catches for 158 yards. His snap count was clearly third, behind a Eddie Royal and Malcolm Floyd. Target distribution was surprisingly generous between Floyd, Royal, Gates, and Inman. But a major difference between last season and this season is Danny Woodhead. He was out most of last season. So it's likely Gates, Woodhead, Johnson, Floyd eat first then scraps for Inman.

    Health Miller production with Ben

Feast or famine with that guy. Just depends on how well defenses cover Brown and Bryant.

Floyd a must play with Allen out in SD?

Looking at games from last season where Allen was out, Floyd was mediocre. I'm a Chargers homer and he flashes every now and then, but he just isn't good enough to scare defenses consistently. I believe he makes big plays more as a byproduct of defenses forgetting about him. From what I read, Stevie runs his routes a little different than most receivers so corners have a hard time covering him, but his qbs have a tougher time zeroing in on him too. In three wide receiver sets, I believe Chargers will have Floyd and Inman on the outside stretching the field and Stevie, Gates, and Woodhead working the area underneath.

Sneaky week 9 starts: TEN WRs vs. the Saints

Justin Hunter has been getting most snaps. His stat line is similar to Kendall Wright (60+ percent catch rate, 12+ yards a catch), but he's gotten half as many targets. I picked him up to stash, but I'm not holding my breath. I think Titans will use Hunter to move the chains and take big shot plays with DGB. Wild card is Harry Douglas. Easily most experienced receiver remaining, but he's played poorly this season. Only guy on Titans you can confidently start is TE Delanie Walker. Would shock me if he didn't see most targets against Saints.

    Eddie Lacy - droppable?

I just looked it up and Starks is in the last year of his contract. He's got extra motivation to play well this season, so unfortunately for us Lacy owners, it will become a timeshare.

Atlanta at New Orleans: In-Game Discussion

I traded him for Eddie Lacy because his yards per carry number were pedestrian. But he could still finish top 10 thanks to goal line carries and receptions.

    Cooks

He's this year's Keenan Allen. Flashed a lot of talent rookie season. Put into a situation with a lot of opportunities to shine, and then puts down mediocre numbers. I think next season will be more telling of the type of career he will have. I'm done drafting second year receivers. Season 3 is where it's at, ie Deandre Hopkins.
