  1. Currently third place 6-4 10 team standard scoring league. Only top 4 teams make playoffs in week 15 and 16.

    QB:

    Andy Dalton

    Colin Kapernick

    Jason Campbell

    WR:
    AJ Green

    Larry Fitzgerald

    Riley Cooper

    Denarius Moore

    RB:

    Jamal Charles

    Knowshon Moreno

    Andre Brown

    Ben Tate

    Rashad Jennings

    TE

    Rob Gonkrowski

So I traded away Philip Rivers and other players to get Gonkrowski. Can't see myself being able to trade a legit QB so I will attempt to stream QBs all the way to the championship. My main concern is my receiving core. Green is green, but i'm unsure if Fitzgerald or Cooper can carry me at the WR2 spot. I know of teams looking for RBs so I could try trade one of my RBs for someone like Ashton Jeffery or Jordy Nelson. The question is should I?

  2. I can see him still on waivers in 8 man league, but 10+? Bush league if he is still un-rostered.

I was angry out of principle when Aaron Dobson slipped past waivers to free agency in my work league last week. I picked up Cooper with the 10th ww priority. Then Dobson was picked up as a FA by the league leader who still has #1 WW priority. My ego will be crushed if i can't make the playoffs in that league of slow-to-react league.

  3. At this point, can you view him as any less productive than big name stars like Larry Fitzgerald, Hakeem Nicks, Marques Colston, Roddy White, Steve Smith?

He has the same upside plus he's got a soft schedule going forward.

  4. I've been unhappy with the standard DST scoring. What I don't like is a lot of times, the best defenses in the league don't translate to the best defenses in fantasy football. For example the Cowboys are third best DST in my league, but in real life they are very middle of the pack. I think unpredictable pick/fumble 6s account for too much and a lot of times that's more a result of playing bad offenses than being a good defense.

Haven't experimented with this yet, I'd be interested in knowing the what the results would be like if defensive TDs were not counted.

  5. I have AJ Green, Larry Fitzgerald, and Denarius Moore too. Blackmon and Shorts are just FLEX options, but I don't want to have to decide between both each week. There's a defense on a bye I want to pick up before we reach WW status, so I want to drop one of these guys to pick up the defense as a FA instead of burning my WW priority.

  6. I have both on my bench, but not sure how to manage them. I have other needs so keeping both isn't ideal. Standard scoring league.

All rest-of-way rankings have Blackmon ahead of Shorts and in top 20 of WRs. But recent games have indicated Shorts is the first option. Blackmon is more of a redzone target because of his size and style.

So the question is, if you had to drop one, then who?

  7. Any Colts homers? So does Hilton step into the Reggie Wayne Z-receiver role? Or does DHB move over to Z and Hilton become the X receiver? Would suck for Hilton owners if continued to use him as the slot receiver and used Brazil on the outside instead.

  8.

One thing you said, "it's still the Bucs..." I am flabbergasted at how this thing turned, especially with a defensive secondary and offensive line so highly touted in preseason. This is STILL a good team, the secondary a respectable 16th against the pass and the O-line is probably still in the upper half of NFL offensive lines, even with the loss of Nicks. The problem with the Bucs is leadership, and I can't believe their coach still has a job.

Maybe the Bucs DEF is a candidate for #1 DEF next season if there's a head coach change. They resemble the Chiefs of last season in that they have good players, but poor leadership.

  9. Keep in mind 70 something yards of his came from one blown play. Had the corner made the tackle, he would have been held well under a 100 yards and no TDs.

Last year at home against Seattle, he caught 4 passes for 63 yards and no TDs. 60-something yards a game is his average right now. Seattle has only given up 3 WR TDs this season. So I'm predicting he gets 50-60 yards and no TDs.

    I'm leaning towards benching him.
