But what is it if head to head is the same? It isn't points for (I have more points for), or record against common opponent (same for both of us), or strength of victory (I have the advantage).

I just checked both of those. We have the same record against common opponents, and I have the greater strength of victory vs. those opponents. The only thing I can see so far is that out of our two head to head matchups, he has the greater strength of victory, even though we are 1-1 against each other. Any other ideas here?

10 team league on nfl.com. 4 teams make the playoffs. No divisions, custom point settings and rosters. I have the most points in the league but am in 5th place. #1 and #2 have a better record than me. The #3 team has the same record as me, but has won the head to head against me (looking on the settings page, this is what is listed as the standings tiebreaker). Now the problem is the #4 team. He has the same record as me, but we are 1-1 against each other. How is it that he is #4 and I am #5? What gives him the tiebreak? I have more points (also have more points against, but not sure why that would matter). There are no divisions. I won the first matchup by 5, he won the second matchup by 20; is it this overall differential that gives it to him? Really seems like something is wrong to me, since I have the most points and we have the same record with a 1-1 tiebreak. Anyone know what could be happening here?

I'd drop Hasslebeck for Graham. MCL injuries are no joke. Assuming it's a standard league, you might have a chance to pick Hasslebeck back if he clears waivers. There's some potential with Tebow, so I'd keep him for now.

Thanks mate. Much appreciated. I was thinking the same, going with Palmer and trading for a RB. Can't believe I'm without a RB now, but this week is likely a loss anyway as Brady is on a bye. However, in planning ahead I think you're right, I might be able to get good value for Palmer in this league.

I agree with this. With a championship on the line you can't afford to have someone be so hit or miss, and I think Boss gives you a chance at points more than Celek will. Go with Boss.

Been struggling with these decisions the whole week, really hoping you guys can share your advice and input. Standard scoring, non-ppr. For the two WR spots, I'm probably going with Calvin Johnson and Mike Williams (TB). Williams has played well for me the entire year, and has a good matchup (vs. Sea), but I also have noticed Brandon Marshall has done decently the past couple of weeks, and is playing a bad Lions team. I'm leaning towards going with the player who helped me get to the championship (Williams) as opposed to the guy who did next to nothing for my team (Marshall), but want to see if I'm making the right choice here. For the flex, right now I have Forte vs. Jets. However, Forte has consistently put up duds all but maybe two times when I've started him and I have a couple other options here. I could go with Brandon Marshall or Brian Westbrook. To sum up, here are the four possible players, I need to pick two of them, and one has to be a WR: Mike Williams vs. Sea Brandon Marshall vs. Det Forte vs. Jets Westbrook @ STL TIA.

I'd go with Dallas. Detroit with Megatron always has the potential to put up points. Dallas home vs. the Skins should be the better play.

Would you play San Diego's defense home vs. SF, or Oakland defense vs. Denver? Oakland really got after Denver a few weeks ago, but I wasn't sure which to go with. A second (and potentially related question), for QB who would you go with, Fitzpatrick @ MIA or Alex Smith @ SD? Thanks.
