If you have HBO I would still encourage you to watch Stopping the Steal. They talk to some of the officials that were on the receiving end of the pressure campaign. Honestly, if they had run a moderate republican they would have won in a landslide.

Also, I live in LA. We’re not quite there yet but there’s a sh!t ton of EV’s on the road here. Finding a mechanic who can work on them is not a big deal.

You really need to ask that? If he would go to those lengths to stay in power, you don’t think he’d try some more shenanigans? What he did is disgraceful and disqualifying. He’s tried to shatter just about every norm he comes across, I can definitely see him pushing against the 2 term limit. Not saying he’d be successful, but do we really want to put ourselves through that? That’s a hard pass for me.

Yeah, I guess that’s why a bunch of Trump’s lawyers were disbarred and the fake electors are being sent to jail. Or why Trump is desperate to dismiss the Jack Smith case. Talk about not being able to interpret a pattern…

There’s a pretty good documentary on HBO called Stopping the Steal, you should check it out. When Trump ran out of legitimate legal challenges (which he was entitled to do) that’s when things start getting shady. They mounted an immense pressure campaign on elected Republican officials to “do the right thing". That translated into stating there was fraud/finding votes/setting aside Biden’s electors and switching them out with ones for Trump. When that ultimately failed, they tried to convince Pence he had the power to not certify the election. Jan 6th was the final push to try and intimidate Pence into doing just that.

Yes, the infrastructure is a focking mess. And if you do want to roadtrip, fast charging is a must- and it’s the wild, wild, west in terms of what you will have to pay for it. Most of the time it ends up being more expensive than gas. And don’t get me started on the ass raping you will pay for insurance. Overall, if I had to do it again, I probably would, but it has definitely been an adjustment.

We’ve got a ways to go before that will be possible. I’ve had one for a little over a year now, and while I still love it, I would hesitate to recommend it to everyone. It definitely takes a lot more planning, and it’s probably a hard no if you plan on it being your only car.
