It does pick back up-I’m just not sure at which episode. I’ll admit, it’s been awhile since I rewatched it. If anything, you could possibly skip to the final episode of season 2 and probably be ok.

Stick with it (if you can) until the end. I know it’s a hard watch, but they do introduce some themes that are helpful if you want to keep going with the movie and then season 3.

Yeah, I remember there was a fight between Lynch and Frost with Bob Iger about revealing Laura’s killer. They absolutely didn’t want to do it until the end of the series, but the studio forced them to. So, the 2nd half of season 2 is a complete mess. This is what makes Fire Walk with Me so outstanding. As a prequel, it revisits Laura and her life leading up to her murder.

I kind of appreciated the film version wasn’t as bleak. While the book version is probably more realistic- it’s nice to think that maybe someone out there thinks that humanity is worth saving.

The little girl gets shot and killed when Lenny and Andrew wrestle for the gun. It doesn’t count as a sacrifice so they still have to choose. They refuse, and the ending is a lot more ambiguous as to whether or not there was really an apocalypse.

I didn’t hate it. Not his best work, but definitely not his worst. I’m conflicted on whether I prefer this ending to the one in the book.

The 2nd one was based off of The Turning of the Screw. I personally like how he’s added to them. Most of these stories have been overdone to death, anyway.

I’ll put it on my list, thank you! Black Phone was excellent. I wasn’t sure how Ethan Hawk would do as the bad guy but he nailed it.

Not a lesser known horror film but since this is where all the horror stuff ended up- I’m finally watching The Black Phone right now. So far, so good.
