  1.

But as for the championship game against the 49ers in Week 16 (if that's when your Final is), Lynch will be useless despite how well he's been producing.

Did you use a magic 8 ball to get this information?

  2. I love how Phurfer chooses the guy who wrote "Give Peace a Chance" as the spokesman for the war mongering party. LOL Classic!!

John Lennon was a closet Republican, who felt a little embarrassed by his former radicalism, at the time of his death – according to the tragic Beatles star’s last personal assistant.

Fred Seaman worked alongside the music legend from 1979 to Lennon’s death at the end of 1980 and he reveals the star was a Ronald Reagan fan who enjoyed arguing with left-wing radicals who reminded him of his former self.

In new documentary Beatles Stories, s thought he was while he was his assistant.

He says, “John, basically, made it very clear that if he were an American he would vote for Reagan because he was really sour on (Democrat) Jimmy Carter.

    Wrong-again!

  3. Hey 12th. A lot of scoring systems are like that now for kickers, but since we don't predict how long each and every FG will be (can you imagine me asking Krueger to do that?), the best we can do is work an average. Figure the FG a kickers kicks between 30-39 will average 35 yards, so make that 3.5 in that one (35 yards = 3.5 points). SImilar for 40-49, put 4.5 there. For the 50+ range you might feel 5.5 is a little high. I sometimes ratchet that back to 5.2 or so, but we are just quibbling about a few points which won't make much if any difference in the kicker rankings.

    Thanks.

Sounds good. Thanks for the feedback!

  4. Hello Mike!

Purchased the CC--I am inputting my league's scoring and for kickers FGs are woth 3 points (0-29 yds) and then for 30-39 yards wee use decimal scoring-- 3.1 = 31 yards and so on and so forth for 40-49 and 50+. In the column for 0-29 yards I have input 3 but inthe following categories how would you input the scoring for that?

    Thanks,

  5. Uh, well, that does tend to skew the stats a bit ya know. If you exclude that big week 17, and instead look at his previous 4 games, you have a RB averaging 54 ypg rushing and .5 TD's. Not horrible, mind you......but not eye-opening either. The relevancy of stats are often far more important in our beloved pursuit than the stats themselves.

BTW, I personally do expect Matthews to have a good year and, like yourself, am targeting him at his current ADP.

Does it really skew the stats? I guess that depends on what you are looking for. In my analysis, that game is truly important for several reasons. One, the Chargers were clearly looking to see what this kid could do after his high ankle sprains. Also, Mike Tolbert and Darin Sprloes are what they are so the Chargers needed to see this kid explode and justify trading up for him in the draft. Finally, 26-120-3 and 3-19 for 34.9 fanatays points is a clear indication of his ceiling. Sure Mathews won't put up those numbers week in and week out but he could have those occasional "special" games because he has the talent to do so. Therefore, IMO, the inclusion of that game as one of his last 4 is quite relevant going forward. Does it make that whole 4 game stretch look better, sure it does, but I am more interested in what those numbers seem to say for this year.

  6. Ryan Mathews--the hype is over--he will pick up where he left off in 2010 and produce (quite possibly top 10 numbers). Over the last 4 games he avegraged 18 carries for about 74 yards, 2 receptions for about 13 yards and a TD per game. IMO he has a top 10 ceiling (256 fantasy points). If I can get him at the 3/4 turn I will be elated.

  7. this has to be one of the dumber posts ive seen around here.

why would i expect Pete Carroll to care what I, or any other non hawk fan thinks? Hell, he probably shouldnt even worry what hawks fans think of the draft. He has a job to do and so long as he is confident, thats all that really matters... until maybe 3-4 years down the road when we know for sure.

 ... you reek of alias.

That concludes the personal attack portion of this thread. Back to football talk, thank you.

I like how you blatantly disregard the Führer's comments.

also i find myself uninspired with the hawks draft,

“We think we have found guys who fit what we’re looking for,” Carroll said. “We don’t care what anybody else thinks or what anybody else’s opinion is.”

I guess Pete carroll isn't losing any sleeep over the fact that you are unispired.
