Thought is the cause of most of our suffering. It is the thought of things that makes us fear them. When we just do, thought cannot convince us the situation is worse than it actually is.

Yes, The Power of Now. It was transformative. I never realized what presence was or how to achieve it. We think far too much. When you tell someone to think less, they think of it as blasphemy. How can they function without thought. They won't even partake in a brief exercise to see what the hoopla is about. Between Tolle and Dispenza, both telling me to be present, it took some weeks to realize how to do it. Then one day, sitting on a throne (toilet) it clicked. I focused on my breath and cleared all thought. Instant energy boost. It has taken me a lot of practice to become more present. I fail often, but the amount now far surpasses the old me. People think this stuff is woo. After practicing what I preach for years, this weekend has been a quantum leap in quality of life. I had one of the best weekends of my life. I am living the fock out of life these past few days, and I was offered a job making double what I am making now. I know you know what I'm talking about, but to the uninitiated I'm sure it all appears as random happenstance.
