Yes. There's NO way I could have contact with my mother if she did this. I do agree that it's likely a Munchausen situation. I mean, the father standing there and saying, "No more. You need to leave" and how they clung together. Eventually I am hoping the daughter goes no contact. The mother will continue to be this way; she's not changing. Esp when the mother's sister (I think) says that she's always been the type to want attention, acting certain ways, etc.

I kind of caught on when one of the text was about a basketball game; they berated Lauryn for the scant amount of points she scored vs the number that another player made. Then Lauryn said, "My mom was the score-keeper for our games." Um. Duh. The score keeper is the ONLY person who gives that much of a shiite about the number of points each kid scores; unless you're that kids parent.

I haven't had a chance to see "Weapons" yet but seems like reviews are mixed. Really looking forward to the Conjuring Finale this weekend! It's one of my favorite franchises.

My elbow. Was out training for the California International Marathon and fell. Fell at mile 6 of an 18 mile training run. Knew something was wrong when I went to go push a cross walk button and had no strength in my thumb, I'd run and get little weird twinges of pain but nothing intolerable. Finished my run. Got into my car and couldn't turn the key with my right hand/arm. Got home and couldn't remove my sports bra. Hubs was out at a pub crawl/concert, so I had to call a friend to take me to ER. I was also on blood thinners at the time, so the ER visit was mandatory. Sure enough, radial head fracture near my elbow. No cast, just a sling for a few weeks, then slowly moving it to get full ROM back. Still trained and ran my race.

Yeah. For years, I had no idea it was her...to the point that she'd flirt with me as if she were a guy. I was somewhat friends with her on social media and on other boards, and she never gave a clue. Then on one of my social media posts she made a completely uncalled for and derogatory comment regarding my husband; FFT bored-esque. Like she thought it would be funny...and I had to draw the line. So, I kind of ended the friendship there. I found out a while later that 29Guests was her user name; and she said something here through DM that p!ssed me off. Again, inappropriate. I am not sure what happened to her in that sense, she was a very nice person for a long time. She passed away from pancreatitis, I believe. She'd had a lot of health problems around that, but finding out that she passed was sad and unexpected.

I will happily admit that years ago it used to bother me quite a bit. Now that I am older, and I've accepted a lot of things about my life and myself, meh. It's not worth it to argue with a bunch of keyboard warriors living in their mother's basement. Believe me if you want, or not. I am fine either way.

Meh. I've been here over 20 years. It used to not be as bad as it is in recent years. And it really doesn't bug me as much as it used to either. It's pretty normal for men to act this way.

They offer a really great signing bonus and you start at over $100k/year. The issue is that they don't stay much longer than the 2 or 3 year requirement, retention is really low.
