Sometimes, Rusty does make me laugh.

His has metastasized. Hardly "early stage."

I've been watching my mother slowly fade for the last 4 or 5 five years due to dementia, Parkinsons, and a few strokes. I wish she'd been terminal and there was a better way to end it. Watching her literally waste away is horrid and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Yeah, I saw this. The judge telling the atty to stop questioning was maddening.

Trump vows to launch a major investigation of Beyonce and other "unpatriotic entertainers"

This makes me laugh, so silly. So many other things to focus on. -
If Trump was determined to have cancer tomorrow, what would the liberals say?
TheNewGirl replied to jbycho's topic in The Geek Club
They would tell him to cut a hole in it, fock it, and then run out into traffic. -
Health note. Get your colonoscopies.

I am not "of age" to really need one yet, but will as soon as I am able. I am glad that you're doing okay and I hope you heal quickly. Sending you ((hugs)). -
I find it very sad that both sides are trying to use this as a political talking point. It's a family matter, IMO. Getting all these republicans and democrats involved must be painful and infuriating for the family, they have lost a daughter. Perhaps they see saving the child as a way to keep her alive as well. For people asking if the baby is also affected (brain dead), it is not. As long as her heart is beating and she has nutrition, it should grow like a normal fetus would - I assume. I imagine there is more to it than that she's not really eating food. The baby will likely leech the calcium from her bones for its own, depleting her further. Our female bodies do amazing things to keep a baby alive. I can assume hers is no different given that she's on life support. Now, ICU costs roughly $80k a DAY. Is her family willing to pay for this for the next 3 to 4 months?

This makes sense. My FIL has prostate cancer and has had it for almost two years now. No treatments. Two of three options are surgery, which would result in him being out of commission for 6 to 8 weeks healing time with a catheter, bag, etc. THEN...he'd have to learn to urinate all over again, probably having to wear a diaper most of the time. Right now, they are opting for just watching the blood levels and ultrasounds. If it is already in his bones, I am going to wager that they knew about this cancer and have known for quite some time. BUT....keeping surgery, recovery, and rehab a secret for however long it all takes would have been VERY tough. Given his mental faculties at the time as well. Maybe they were treating it and that's why he was all loopy and unsure all the time, who knows. Anyways, I hope he gets treatment and gets better, but having metastatic cancer to the bone is rough. Up to 14% of white men and up to 18% of black men will get prostate cancer. Cancer is raciss.

Wait, he posted pedo stuff? I was a member there years ago, doubt I remember my password, but I certainly never really went to that site. Is this really true? -
I've had the same email address for over 25 years, ever since I got internet access, I imagine. I am using the "Unroll Me" subscription thing to unsubscribe from emails, and I still find that I get some that I have to manually click/link to to unsubscribe. However, it seems like more and more that I NEVER subscribed to are coming in. Is this what they do now? Unsubscribe from one specific address so they still send you cr@p from another? it has gone down considerably from hundreds every day to like 10 or 15, but it's still annoying. Anyone have any suggestions to just eliminate them altogether? I have another email address I use, but I don't want to switch entirely.

Not true. My daughter works at a restaurant, she had to purchase her shirt (black, white, or solid color depending on what kind of shift she's working), black pants and shoes. The only thing they supplied was her apron and visor. Same with my son, works at a very large car dealership. Last year they did give th employees wind breaker type jackets as a "gift" but he's had to purchase their collared shirts with their logo as well as his own pants and shoes. When I worked fast food one uniform was supplied, if I wanted another I had to purchase it. I've also worked for a large bank for 30 years and they've had a pretty strict dress code; even more so for those working in branches or direct customer pacing roles. If we want anything with the bank logo on it, we have to purchase it as well. Nothing is "free", squid.

This is awesome. Thank you for your service.

Perfect, thank you for this!

How do we know for a fact that these companies are raising prices "due to tariffs" and not just to increase the CEO/Corporate bottom line? I mean, a local hairdresser that I know posted on her FB page that her prices are going up "due to tariffs." Yes, seriously.

I'll take a tax cut for all those Trump coins I ordered.

Of course it will attract attention. If the man were to fart too long or off key somehow, people would complain.

Do Democrats really care about the debt? https://www.kcra.com/article/california-gavin-newsom-budget-deficit-may-revise/64771704 Sooo....despite the $12 billion deficit, people will continue to vote for the party that thinks that we should continue to heard down this path of "free" for everyone; even if it costs BILLIONS more than they promise us. Again, when he runs in 2028, the entire country will feel this. Not just CA. I hope those $2/gas folks in Iowa enjoy their $5/gas and outlawing of gas powered cars.
