I heard on the Crime Junkie podcast that the judge is ALSO involved with one of the families, to the point where one of them called her "Auntie" when he was asked if he knew her. And...the missing CCTV footage from places like the library, where she would have driven by. The footage missing is literally like two random minutes. They also have proof of her connecting to O'Keefe's home Wifi around the time they said he died, shortly before she started leaving him those messages. All of the deleted phone stuff, pictures, google searches, the guy who literally took his phone to a military base to "throw it away" and destroy the SIM card. I dunno. There's seriously something focked up here.

So this one I cannot get behind. He needs to stay in prison. George Floyd being on drugs or not, his treatment was abhorrent.

Ina Garten or Nigella Lawson. Of the recipes that I've tried to duplicate of TV chefs, theirs have always been spot on. Ina Garten's Beef Bourignon is amazing, although Gordon Ramsey's Wellington recipe is also really good, I've made that too following his instructions. I've made quite a few of Giada DeLaurentiis recipes, but obviously they are typical Italian. Her baked penne with smoked mozzarella is a family favorite. That's my overall experience with TV chefs and their recipes that I've actually taken the time to make. Gordon Ramseys' ACTUAL crab cakes and bread pudding recipes from his Hells Kitchen restaurants (been to the one in Tahoe and the one in Vegas) they leave a lot to be desired. They are kind of just....meh.

I know they also had video of her backing into his car at his house, which is what they say damaged the tail light to begin with. I will have to watch and listen again. I get side tracked and miss little things here and there, too.

Okay, listened to the Crime Junkie podcast. There's just TOO much that doesn't work for me with Karen. Personally, I think she dropped him off and went to his house. Called and left all kinds of messages because she was drunk and pissed. Her voicemails reference him seeing another woman that lives close to 34 Fairview. I think they fought, she dropped him off and left. The ONLY part I think is odd is the tail light pieces being left by his body and the ONE stray hair of his that they found in the tail light on the car. When would they have "planted" that. It's odd that people drove by and pulled up to 34 Fairview and saw her in the car alone and no one on the grass/snow near her. So, maybe they fought, she dropped him off and he started walking to the other lady's house? Or...the dude SHE was flirting with that was in the house (Higgins?) got into a fight with O'Keefe and they just left him out there in the snow? I mean, there is a *chance* she did hit him and then just drove home. It is enough for reasonable doubt, other than the tail light pieces by his body.

This also kind of makes me wonder why CA (an all blue state) keeps denying laws to protect children between 16-17 from trafficking. Under 15? Felony. 16 or 17...meh....misdemeanor MAYBE. Literally dem voters not protecting kids from stuff like this; being purchased and trafficked for sex.

Ok, finished the documentary and yes, ended with deadlocked/mistrial. All the phone calls to each other, all the hidden "stuff" and just everyone being focking drunk and "not remembering" or whatever. The texts that the one FBI (I think) guy sent about how she was a crazy c*nt and how f*cked she is and all of that, just going OFF were completely uncalled for. I read a few posts on reddit about everything as well, and I guess the jurors decided to go with an "Occam's razor" type of situation; with all things being equal the simplest explanation is what likely happened. They didn't really do their "beyond a reasonable doubt" or evidentiary proof jobs. Also, seeing that the tail light on the car was already damaged, but pieces at the scene? Or her voicemails that she left him when she was drunk and angry...I don't think she knew he was dead. That's all par for the course for a pissed off drunk girlfriend, IMO. I don't think she did it. I think he got into it with his cop buddies, and then their dog started scratching him, or whatever. Then they either took him outside, or left him where he fell. THEN the one chick googled at 2:27AM how long it takes a body to freeze to death? And they made up some BS about how tabs on your phone work? Def some shady cr@p going on here.

Just watching the documentary, so this must be the first trial. SPOILER ALERT!!!! Kidding, it's fine. I can see how there would be a second trial with this cr@p show.

Yeah! I just got to the phone stuff in the middle of the night! Three or four people butt dailing each other within 2 to 4 minutes of each other? And then the phones being destroyed?

My husband is 6'8" and 300 pounds. Too much body to try and get rid of. Also, I'd have to mow over him with a F450 King Ranch or something - and at my height I couldn't see over the steering wheel.

I don't put a whole lot of stock in polls/polling numbers even when they disagree with how I feel personally. I took statistics in college, and meh. I can see how a majority of Americans would disagree with the deportation tactics that are being used; I disagree with some of the tactics myself.

The current model looks like a trashcan. At least that's what my kids and I call them when we see them out and about. Just lame ass vehicles. I esp love when CHP posts pictures of them spinning out and doing terribly across the summit when there's weather.
