Australia might be multicultural, but they didn't really start passing laws on it until the late 70s. Prior to the 70s they had laws about "white Australia." I can see how people would think that they are now reversed in that thinking...however, assimilation is key. Adopt their language, phrasing, and ways of life and you're better off. They are cool if you live there/move there, but try and infringe on the "Aussie" way of life? Nope. They don't like it. I've heard this from a few folks that I know that live there. SO...maaaayyybe not as multicultural as they like to say they are, but that's only my opinion.

Do you HONESTLY think that California can continue on the current path and be successful? Gov Newsom is catering more to the center and right leaning folks himself in some aspects. He recently stated that he wants to get rid of homeless camps, but wants to throw more money at homelessness. People who live here will be taxed to death, with already the highest tax rates in the country. Our AVERAGE gas price right now is almost $5/gallon, and he wants peopel to return to work in July. Our unemployment rate is 5.3% which is among the highest in the nation as well. He's bankrupt Medical to try and provide "free" health care to immigrants. Have you been to an emergency room lately? My ER is the SECOND busiest in the entire state; you cannot leave there in under 12 hours, and the halls are FULL with beds and patients. It's like a horror/disaster movie. Only 17% of Californians can afford to purchase an AVERAGE home. The median home price in CA is $900,000. MEDIAN. And yes...everything here is awesome, and this is the ideal that people like you want to spread across the entire nation.

Eggs are still around $9/dozen here at the local larger chain I shop at. I am not sure what they are at Trader Joes, but last time I went there they were considerably less, like $5/dozen which is closer to "normal" here. The super organic cage free brown eggs are $12/dozen at the larger chain.

Right, 2nd degree is all about the "intent." First degree is usually premeditated when it comes to intent.

2nd degree is having a loaded weapon with the intent to use it unlawfully. Criminal possession of a firearm just means he had the firearm illegal; maybe he didn't own/register it in his name, or could be a weapon that was outlawed by that state - this includes the size of the magazine if there was one. As a dealer he should know bout local laws, but then also probably has items that are against the law or thinks laws don't apply to him.

Any idiot can tell the difference between a little water spot vs OIL. And, if you can't tell, then you pat your fingers on it, and then if it doesn't smell like water then you need to go get it checked out. Not for passport renewal, but for a NEW passport, you have to provide all of that again. My passport expired and I needed a new one, despite having one that was only 6 months past renewal date I needed to provide ALL of that again. SS card, birth certificate, marriage certificate, and whatever else passports require. My husband and kids don't have passports. We are working on that this year, but there is ONE post office in our area that doesn't require appointments and they only take 20 people a day. People line up there at 5am everyday. To make an appt they are at least 2 to 3 months out.
