My Bacon number is 2. A very good friend rode an elevator with him and his wife in South Lake Tahoe. I am sure he's not 75, I was joking. But maybe he is.

A couple of the last ones we saw were "Ballerina" and the last Mission Impossible. Only because those types of movies you almost HAVE to see in the theater. PLUS....if they don't do well in the theater, they will be streaming in like a month or less anyways.

I am looking forward to seeing it, but maybe not in the theater.

I've learned that as we age, or watch our kids age, we don't give a lot of thought to the fact that our parents are indeed mortal and aging as well. Suddenly, the kids are grown and your parents are in their 70s and 80s, in their last decades of life. I never thought about it like that while I was watching my kids get older, turn into adults and start their own lives. I also didn't give much thought to MY aging...I just lived my life every day, focused on other stuff and didn't even think about the fact that I too am fast approaching the second half of my life, if not already there since I don't expect to live to 90. It's all very eye opening on how truly short life is..

I hope it is more peaceful as well. I've read a lot about this process, and our bodies know when it's time. Just spend time with him, try and do things that he enjoys, etc. He might find a spark to get moving more again.

Yes. My mom is 72, and at 68 started having small strokes and diagnosed with Parkinsons; it all started in 2020. Between 2020 and late 2023, she continued to have more strokes, lose more abilities to communicate, do daily activities, and lose her memory. Having your mother look at you and have NO clue who you are is painful. She was moved to hospice in late 2023, however remained stable (good BP, good pulse) so they took her off of hospice. She cannot communicate, can't get out of bed, weighs about 80 pounds and her body is all twisted in bed. She lives off of about a cup of pureed food a day. We are basically watching her wither away and waiting for the end. It's incredibly painful and I wouldn't want to see my worst enemies go through this with a parent. I am so sorry you're going through this. My dad is 77. Stage 4 kidney disease, diabetic. Refuses to eat better or go on dialysis. Just takes "more insulin" when he eats something with a lot of sugar/carbs. He still gets around very well, but has definitely gotten tired and lonely.

He's kind of lied about that too. She posted at some point that she's been doing fine and has been for a while. He's used her illness as an excuse to not be there, drink more, etc.

They were still on in Reno. They were dropped here after Rob's DUI. Then all of a sudden they just weren't on in Reno, just "Best Of" shows. Kyle posted in the Sircles app that Rob hadn't paid him in MONTHS, so he quit airing Best Ofs. Brandon randomly quit like two weeks before that, and then after Kyle, Dawn posted a Good Bye letter on IG. No one had heard from Rob, then Reno dropped them too. So, no one knows what's going on. But he's likely on some alcohol induced bender that's lasted weeks and weeks. He posted on the Sircles app that he's going to be back and better than ever. I haven't listened in years, so I get all my info from reddit, hahaha.

I also never said it was "non-existent." I believe my exact words were, "It happens." How often? I wouldn't know that. What I DO know is that in my 30 years of being a registered absentee ballot voter, the ONLY year I got TWO ballots in the mail were 2020. I was also not a registered Republican at that time. My guess is they wouldn't want two of THOSE votes.

Why would people make up not eating beef? I didn't eat red meat or pork (not even bacon) from the age of 13 to 40. Why would I make that up? WGAF if I eat red meat or not?

Anytime I've made filets or NY Strip I only use salt/pepper, butter, rosemary and garlic. Never needs anything else.

I think you mean "worm hole." Black holes are known; gravity so strong it pulls in everything, including light. Worm holes are essentially like a time/space transport. I.e. the movie "Contact."

Fraud might not be widespread, but IMO it happens. One year, I got two ballots and I vote via mail here in CA. Why or how did it happen? No idea. I think it was actually 2020, come to think of it.
