All this will do is drive more people out of CA. The more this stuff happens, the more I try and figure out how to get the fock out of here.

The first question in your post is asking if you're HAPPIER. You do not go on to DEFINE anything other than what it means to you; Trump v Biden, sleeping, the sun shining, feeling safe, job security? You mention that YOU are not more satisfied. Then you ask if the COUNTRY feels greater. So is your post about being happy, satisfied, safer, if flowers smell better, or if the country feels greater? Make up your mind.

They exist. I had one about 20 years ago. Electric Mayhem won it for something and he sent it to me.

That'd be great considering he died in 2012.

I will agree with you on skin walkers. I thought there was a Netflix documentary about them too?

Snipes. Kidding. Mothman, Yeti, Bigfoot, Chupacabra. Those are probably my top 4. I'll add the Kraken/Cthulhu to round it to 5.

Got it.

I am not a govt employee and do not have job security; in fact, I am being let go towards the end of the year. That's some cause for unhappiness. I also have a few family related things and health related things that would also be more of a cause for unhappiness. But, we power through. Just like we did with other presidents I didn't agree with. I may not agree with past or current presidents and what they do, but in no way does it drive my daily/weekly/monthly emotions.

I don't really base my "happiness" with life on who is in the White House, it's usually the circumstances around me. I am about the same, really.

This was my question as well. -
I felt the same with the body transfer thing. I didn't hate it, but it kind of took me a few to try and figure out what was going on, but I also wasn't 100% paying attention. Lurch and I were kind of talking during the show, so we will have to watch again to make sure we caught everything. Didn't watch Ep 2 yet. It took me a minute to recognize Timothy Oliphant. We were both like, "Is that...??" And yup.

Supreme Court weighing same-sex marriage case

I don't need to ask myself anything, Rusty. I was only curious about who and how it's determined if police are doing a great job. -
Gavin would kill your dog and then help you go look for it. Registered republicans are 40% of CA's voters; we only have 17% of congressional seats already. He'd love them to have zero and be a 100% blue state. He doesn't care and doesn't listen to voters. Ever.

Anyone check this out? Sorry if it's a moon landing. Hubs and I binge watched it and it was really good. Renewed for season 2.

Thought I'd follow up. I returned the phone call I got from this dept and basically they are contracted through companies like Ancestry.com and use family trees to find next of kin. She's contacted several relatives out on the maternal and paternal sides of this cousin, he's my 1st cousin twice removed but there are quite a few family members closer to him that have passed away. They asked if I'd like to submit a DNA sample (cheek swabs), and then also provided me with any correspondence about him back from 1942 when he was captured as a POW in the Philippines. I read through the file and it's actually quite sad. They said that he'd died of dysentery, but have no idea where his grave is (hence the need for DNA). There were letters in there informing his mother of his death, the inability to recover his body, and then her letters back to the Army regarding dental records or anything else she could find. Again all heart breaking to read. His mother was my mom's aunt. An only son/child, he was 21. Would be really wonderful if I was a part of helping to bring him home.
