We have a huge collection of DVDs and Blu-Rays and I am trying to figure out WTF to do with them all. We've copied most of them over to a private media server in our house, so we can watch movies from that, no real need for a player anymore. Plus with streaming, you can buy/rent. So...what do you do with all of these movies? I'd love the extra cabinet space back. We also still have all of our CDs but they are in plastic bins in the garage and haven't been looked at in years (easily over 10 years).

No, there is no gaming system in the main area of the house. My son has one in his room, doesn't use it to watch movies. Like I said, if we watch movies, they are streamed in some way; services, media server, etc. I do have a DVD player that connects to my laptop, but I also rarely watch movies that way, I still use streaming services.

I totally agree. My dad drove out here with his family in the late 60s from New York; said that CA was on "everyone's list" to visit, move there, or whatever. Not so much anymore.

California really is a beautiful state and I love living here. But I also don't live in one of the larger cities. I can drive an hour and hit the mountains or drive 1 1/2 hours and go to the ocean.

His death has affected me more than I thought it would. I think it's because The Osbourne's was one of the best shows at the time. Their love, connection, and overall love for family was just really amazing. Watching some of the episodes now, or seeing him on shows like Conan really make me weepy.
