Seems that we love it or hate it. Or we grew up with it being just a nasty food and is now delicious. I usually make mine with ground turkey, not super lean and not the full fat kind, somewhere in the middle. I think it's almost a comfort food; meatloaf, mashed potatoes, etc.

I actually took her to their concert in SF this weekend. She had a great time and I score some serious mom points. I realized I am too old to stand in the gen admission area for four hours, and too old to drive home at 11pm. SF is about 2 hours away. Getting home at 1am and needing to work that day, OOF. It BETTER be her favorite band for all that I do for her.

Hubs worked nights, so he had just gotten home from work and I was still in bed. He came in and woke me up to tell me something was happening and I got up just after the first plane hit. Watch the second plane and the buildings collapsing. I remember yelling out, "Holy shiiite the building is falling!" and hubs didn't believe me, said was just a lot of smoke. You couldn't really see anything other than the dust and smoke, but I was just like, "The top is gone, look, it's falling." And then the news announced it had fallen. I sat there just in awe. I remember that day like yesterday. I can rarely watch anything about it now, upsets me every time.

My daughters favorite band right now is Wallows. Not terrible music, but not great.

Me either. I think she did it to try and remain more relevant with the younger crowd. There are so many influencers being discovered on the socials and I bet Queen B knows that there's someone else out there that is better than her. Same with J Lo. She keeps trying to do concerts, did that streaming movie, and it's all been terrible. They need to admit that they are just part of an older crowd of entertainers that a lot of people don't care to see anymore.

The only good thing to come out of that song is that Tracy Chapman FINALLY got the attention that song deserves.

Predictable in that he'd send money to Ukraine over and over and over is a good thing? IMO, having someone unpredictable would stop Putin, just don't know how that person will react if Russia starts attacking other countries forcing him to hold off. Knowing how the US will react isn't really a great thing, IMO especially if you know that President is weak as fock and won't stop you. Putin felt that he could just keep invading....Biden wouldn't do shiite.

Anytime the swelling is on the face you should go to the ER, esp if it's your lips. I had a reaction to something earlier this year and that's what they told me. the IV Benadryl, Pepcid, and steroids weren't doing anything, I ended up needing an epi-pen. I've never had an allergic reaction to anything in my whole life and have NO idea what caused it. Went to an allergist and the obvious ones did nothing during the allergy test. So. Be careful.

I seem to get them for everyone; Republican, Dems. I get a lot for the local people running for things too like our city council, etc. I suspect my phone number was sold somewhere. I usually do the "Stop" thing, but they still get through.

This is horrible. I used be an avid cyclist, not much anymore. When I do go out riding now, it's on paved trails, I never ride with cars anymore. Ever.
