Golden One Center in Sacramento has gender neutral restrooms. I had to go really bad once and I was not willing to wait in the ladies room line, so I used one. It had a commode as well as a urinal, BFD. One room, locking door, so one person at a time, which I kind of felt was more of a waste of space, but whatever. I think it had a changing table too, so def more of a "family" restroom, but with a new name tag. I got a couple of weird looks when I came out, that's for sure. But in my mind, they are use for everyone. I needed to go. If they are ONLY for trans, then call them trans. Gender neutral implies ANYONE can use them. In terms of smell, bathrooms smell. Meh.

I would go, regardless of who holds the office of POTUS. I still respect that office, though I may not respect the person.

You know, I loved the Iron Claw. I thought it was extremely well done. I knew so little about the storyline and the family, but I was just telling hubs the other day that it's easily one of the best I'd seen in a LONG time. We recently saw the other bigger new ones like Dune 2, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, Abigail. A few of the other rom-coms. But if I were to go back a few weeks, I'd actually have to agree with you, Iron Claw was easily one of the best movies I've seen within the last couple of months.

I've come to the conclusion that it's likely where you live. Our median home price is almost a million dollars, we are also the most populous and most blue state. If that doesn't tell you how blue policies work overtime, I am not sure what to tell you to make things better. We were in a surplus not even two years ago, and now we have such a huge deficit that even the public sector has hiring freezes. We are essentially being taxed out of our paychecks to support social programs, "climate change" programs that affect us at the pump - while also being asked to return to the office. Public school enrollment is WAY down, the lowest it's ever been which also means that schools will not be given money either; ALL of this at taxpayer expense - tax payers who cannot find jobs and cannot afford homes to live in. And rents are just as obnoxious. Good luck finding landlord insurance around here, homeowners, car insurance; all of the above. Meanwhile, groceries are still crazy $$$. Anyways, I am just crazy for saying this stuff over and over again, and obviously lying and should just quit buying lattes, right? Because the market is above 40k and everything is great where Gutter lives, so it's all cool. Look at CA, guys, just keep voting blue because you think contraception will be outlawed. Who gives a fock about gas prices and truckers will just have to deal with figuring out how to make their EV long hauler work, ya know? Newsome will be president soon enough and then everyone in the nation will be wondering how the fock it happened.

Farmers aren't doing that great right now either, though. I know a few in CA that are suffering.

Sure wages are going up, however the prices of things going up is out pacing that. My little raise doesn't cover the fact that groceries are now 22% more than they were a year ago. And those wage surges have really slowed down since late 2023, they aren't as much as they were before. Again, ask anyone that's out there looking for a better job, or a job in general right now, especially in the corporate world; it's horrible. I am not making 22% more than I was a year ago. So now, I am reading that folks are demanding that his administration require all of these migrants be vaccinated for measles and TB. Because guess what...we're seeing cases of measles and TB all over the place now. Not to mention chicken pox, and polio - a disease we pretty much eradicated, among all of the other nasty diseases out there; cholera, diphtheria, etc. If you're seeking asylum you don't have to be vaccinated, but if you want to be a permanent resident you do. So...are these folks still just seeking asylum or do they want to stay? Their court dates are months out and once they cross they are lost. I am not even talking about Covid, I am talking about the other ones. Yeah, not a drain on our resources or health care. Just a vote.
