What's funny is that counter programming is what brought us today's Super Bowl Half Time Show. In 1992, a special counter programming from "In Living Color" deterred millions of viewers from the game to the ILC half time show; it had a countdown clock to let people know when to go back to the game. In 1993 the Super Bowl Half Time Show was born with Michael Jackson performing. So many people didn't know what was going on that they had to pipe in the sounds of applause and screaming. Be interesting to see how this counter programming goes and what the impact is.

The more people use AI the more it will learn - usually why some companies call it AI/ML. ChatGPT doesn't know that it shouldn't be giving advice about self-harm...someone will have to go in and tell it that's not cool. Now it knows.

I think this is mostly because anyone outside of technology or STEM fields sees it like this. They see the videos of the monkey beating the alligator with a stick, or the fancy short hair cut. They don't view it as a tool to assist with digital design, health care, etc. It's "fun" to them.

You realize what elementary curriculum consists of these days, don't you? Probably not. It's not focused on learning, that's for sure. We are pushing kids through school that CAN'T READ. They cannot do math, they have very little social skills. They don't know how to emotionally regulate to get along with their peers. They are handed tablets and phones at an early age to just sit and watch YouTube videos about K Pop Demon Hunters. our children are not getting smarter and the curriculum isn't helping. Sorry if that curriculum focuses on trans-type agendas. I've yet to see an engineer in a classroom taking apart an old school computer or phone to show kids how things work... Until this starts happening again, AI/ML will take over.
