[** Official President Joe Biden Thread **]

Another $7.7 billion in student debt forgiveness and we are funding two wars right now. All at tax payer expense. We are paying way too much in taxes for this to be able to happen. Way too much. -

I am sorry but every time I see "Alpha Chad" in this thread title I laugh. So ridiculous sounding. -

Is it meth or ketamine? FFS. What will they pump him full of for the debate? They should both be drug tested honestly, if need be. But I am really curious what cocktail of drugs they will have Joe on. Can't string two focking words together. So sad. This is abuse. -
Biden and Democrats raised $51 million in April, far less than Trump and the GOP's $76 million

Those dumb post card things I get in the mail that I tear in half and throw in the trash. -
Sure wages are going up, however the prices of things going up is out pacing that. My little raise doesn't cover the fact that groceries are now 22% more than they were a year ago. And those wage surges have really slowed down since late 2023, they aren't as much as they were before. Again, ask anyone that's out there looking for a better job, or a job in general right now, especially in the corporate world; it's horrible. I am not making 22% more than I was a year ago. This is just more gaslighting from the left to those that are in the trenches. https://www.nbcwashington.com/inflation-economy-housing-prices-recession-vibes/a-tale-of-2-economies-wages-are-going-up-why-do-we-feel-like-we-cant-afford-anything/3536747/#:~:text=A majority of Americans%2C around,10% said they got both. The answer, once again, comes down to the inflation rate. Of the workers surveyed who did get a raise, only 33% said their income kept up with, or exceeded, increases in their household expenses due to inflation, according to that survey.

John Wick series and the Equalizer movies are some of my favorite action movies. Pointless violence, really. Well, John Wick's puppy is reason enough.

So now, I am reading that folks are demanding that his administration require all of these migrants be vaccinated for measles and TB. Because guess what...we're seeing cases of measles and TB all over the place now. Not to mention chicken pox, and polio - a disease we pretty much eradicated, among all of the other nasty diseases out there; cholera, diphtheria, etc. If you're seeking asylum you don't have to be vaccinated, but if you want to be a permanent resident you do. So...are these folks still just seeking asylum or do they want to stay? Their court dates are months out and once they cross they are lost. I am not even talking about Covid, I am talking about the other ones. Yeah, not a drain on our resources or health care. Just a vote. -

This is exactly it. Go read the economy thread and the same attitude is there as well. As long as it's not them, then those of us experiencing it on the daily must be lying...or we are buying too many lattes and need to look at our personal finances. If they are fine with higher prices, they still have homeowners insurance, can afford the 22% increase in car insurance rate hikes, and aren't losing their jobs any time soon, they deem everything "fine." And the stock market being above 40K means everything is cool. And Tim is cool with illegals because he hires them. He'd rather them be here legally, but hiring them is cheaper than hiring a citizen because then he'd have to abide by CA labor laws - which are incredibly strict, BTW. He can do all kinds of shiite under the table with his "workers" and get away with it...but hiring that mid-40s woman that's struggling to get food on the table for an honest $25/hour is just to $$$ for CEO Tim.

I think they ask you in CA if you want to register at the time you get your license as well. I believe they can vote I some local elections.
-
No. They don't want illegals to vote. They don't want them to come here and take our jobs, our resources, our health care or anything else like that. They aren't usually involved in any kind of criminal activity and if they are it's usually due to a misunderstanding, or whitey is just framing them, or they are just doing what they need to do to get by, ya know? So, why do they want them here? Why do they just kind of let them cross the boarder with out any kind of documentation, set their court dates out months away and not have any kind of follow up after? Any one have a reason? I am willing to hear it and chat about it.

They weren't making a run for that border?

Oh good, it's all fixed now and people can start buying houses and paying their bills. No one else is living pay check to pay check. We are saved.

Well, with that said, I am glad you picked Kelly. She'd be my pick too. Markle is waaaaay too much into herself, much more than Kelly. And I agree with jerry that Kelly seems much more likely to get her kink on. Markle seems like she'd be too "EW" about things.

Cultural existential threat: Marxism and Moral Relativism

I think this is incredibly true. I remember my dad coming home from work talking about a man in his office (this would be early/mid 80s) who had a pair of high heels at his desk. He'd change shoes at work, walk around in the high heels, then walk home in the mens dress shoes. Like it was no big deal. I didn't think it was a big deal either, I would have been between 7 and 10 years old maybe? Same as in high school. Homosexual kids, we knew but we didn't talk about it, didn't really care. They were our friends, they were cool. If they were a$$ holes, then that's why we weren't friends with them, had nothing to do with who they were attracted to. But yes, now that they are a minority/marginalized group that is seeking equality in ALL things...they are the new weapon. -

So the part about the transperson I know personally, (female to male) isn't about the actual transitioning part of it. I knew this person as a female and knew them as they transitioned to male, through their top surgery, hormones, etc. I don't find the "ooh gross" factor about much of it. I've taken time to research the surgical process, what they do to make certain parts, removal of breasts, etc. It doesn't bother me to watch stuff like this, read about it or whatever. I find that not enough people do it, honestly. The complications that come from bottom surgeries is very sad, especially when going from male to female and the 'creation' of a vagina and what the individual has to go through for the rest of their lives (sometimes involving things that are incredibly painful) The part that makes me feel weird, is the mental piece of it. This person had. a lot of mental health issues prior to transitioning. A LOT. Several medications. They were in therapy for years, lots of things to work through and finally thought that maybe they were born in the wrong body and decided to transition. Now, into the transition, taking testosterone, became a different person; physically aggressive, just not very nice. Those are the pieces of transsexuals that make me uncomfortable. The mental health side of things that people don't seem to address. Like you mentioned, it's the "Ew gross" factor that a lot of people SEE on the outside. I don't mind if I see them in public, I honestly don't 'give them a second glance and move on with my day. I am more nervous about what's going on underneath and in the brain that makes me uncomfortable; especially since we are SO quick to give these people hormones without trying to address what's going on in the brain (and I don't mean conversion therapy, just talking about general mental health help along with transitioning).
