Newsom signed an EO despite Trump admin voting down his gas powered vehicle "law" he was trying to pass; eliminating the freedom to purchase gas powered cars. https://ktla.com/news/california/newsom-signs-executive-order-advancing-californias-clean-car-goals-amid-pushback-from-the-trump-administration/ Boo hoo....Congress/House/President literally signed this away...but he does his own thing and signs Eos - because the current admin is "unlawful." Please tell me how this bill going all the way to the top and being voted down is "illegal action" and yet his signing of EOs without the chance for us to VOTE is democracy? Here are a few more where California voters voted NO, and Gavin just did what he wanted anyways. Whether you agree if the rejections were "good" or not...voter REJECTED THEM. IF we reject props, and the State pushes them through anyways, THAT is not a constitutional republic where the VOTERS decide. Proposition 36 (Nov 2024): Tougher penalties for crime What voters did: Approved Prop 36 by ~68% to increase criminal penalties on some offenses—undoing part of Prop 47 (2014) ogletree.com+15calmatters.org+15nbclosangeles.com+15. Newsom’s stance: He actively opposed it and then refused to allocate funding for its implementation in the state budget . Result: The measure passed, but the governor and Legislative Democrats stalled follow-through—leaving voter intent undone. Proposition 25 (Nov 2020): Retention of the cash bail system What voters did: Rejected a plan to replace money bail with algorithm-based release. They voted No (~56%) to keep cash bail sfchronicle.com+15en.wikipedia.org+15kqed.org+15. Newsom’s stance: He had supported the reform (voted Yes on Prop 25)calmatters.org+9en.wikipedia.org+9voterguide.sos.ca.gov+9, effectively overruling the voters who wanted to retain cash bail. Death penalty moratorium (Mar 2019): Executive order What voters did: In past elections, Californians repeatedly voted to keep the death penalty on the booksen.wikipedia.org+5en.wikipedia.org+5calmatters.org+5nbclosangeles.com. Newsom’s action: Issued an executive order placing a moratorium on executions, pausing capital punishment despite voter-approved laws, interpreting it as upholding public safety while sidestepping elected intent . Proposition 32 (Nov 2024): Minimum wage increase to $18 What voters did: Narrowly rejected Prop 32, which would have raised the state minimum wage to $18 an hourapnews.com+2ogletree.com+2calmatters.org+2. Newsom’s stance: Even after the vote, he continued pushing higher minimum wages, citing broader policy objectives—though he can’t legislate directly on statewide wage via executive order. Proposition 13 (Mar 2020): School facilities bond What voters did: Turned down a $15 billion school bond (Prop 13 in 2020) —the first school bond defeated since 1994 en.wikipedia.org. Newsom’s position: He still prioritized school construction and repairs, incorporating bonds in later budgets or legislative packages that effectively revived what voters rejected.

Wait...Tim and Trump? Oh this is a good one.
-
Tim is a nepobaby who lives in LA and hires illegals. Why wouldn't he want a POS like Gavin to rule them all?
-
He does lie right to your face! There is a clip of him in the middle of the fires, saying to a homeowner who lost her house that he's "On the phone with Biden right now, going fix this..." And she goes, "Oh, I'd love to hear him and talk to him." "Well...I am not on the phone with him right now..." Such a joke.
-
Yup. Meanwhile, he was encouraging law enforcement to be called when people were outside during COVID or visiting families? How many families were separated during COVID to let their loved ones DIE alone? Kind of like.....ICE? His own little gestapo? And NOW we are worried about separating families, but we weren't then.

By letting millions back into the country and bankrupting the NATION's medicare vs just the states? Increasing gas prices across the nation because of "green" policies? He's isolated CA from our oil production, to where we HAVE to import it, we don't have a choice and it's just driving things up and up. His policies aren't going through because they are unconstitutional; gas powered cars/mowers, gun laws, etc. He keeps trying to push through things that are against the foundation of our state and country. Talk about democracy "being threatened." He's the one who's doing it.

If he becomes POTUS, then you all really get what you vote for. He's a dictator. We've voted against SO many things that he's EO'd, pushed through, or done whatever he wants. Sadly, people don't see that. They just se him "fighting Trump." Wasting MILLIONS on suing the admin. So, yes, please vote for him so the entire nation can see how terrible he is and how he will literally create laws TELLING you what kind of lawn mower you can use. Welcome to a nation with national black outs during summer, gas prices that increase EVERYTHING (remember getting your food to the stores use gasoline or diesel), and if you have electric semis? Good luck with that.

I am not into this either, but I've heard about a movie called a Serbian Film,, or something very similar to that might be what you're referring to. It was pretty disgusting from what I've heard, but not sure if there are drugs or anything like that. I do remember a r@pe scene being talked about that was pretty brutal.

Mostly a few cars on fire? I am guessing you didn't see the videos of horseback officers having their animals tormented, people throwing water bottles and bricks at officers and cars driving by, fireworks starting grass fires in some locations....I mean, it was SO MUCH more than the self driving cars being set on fire. If the action was mostly finished, why did it carry on the following nights to where Bass had to install a curfew? I see that although you are back posting, you're still full of shiiite. -
Yogurt! Yogurt! I hate yogurt. Even with strawberries.

I love that song.

I was honestly surprised to see that he's still around! He looks great and I SO need his sweatshirt.

Elon says that Trump is in the Epstein files.

I am wondering if Trump (or someone) told Elon he'd be slapped with a libel charge if the didn't say something. Or they had a few beers and Elon was like, "Oh that? I was just kidding." -

This is some mental gymnastics right there. It's my opinion that the sky is green; I think it and believe it, therefore it is fact. -

My favorite videos are the ones where the peaceful protesters went after the law enforcement horses. That's sure to be good for the cause. Let's go after the animals. Also, the white couple that went off on an AA woman with a child in her car, asked the peaceful white people to move so she could go to work. That was another of my favorite videos. -
Both in theaters, but new MI and Ballerina were good. MI:8 (or whatever number it is) is really good. I am not a huge fan of Tom Cruise or the MI movies, but this one was good. Action for the full two hours and 49 minutes. The theater was PACKED. Most people I've seen in a theater since COVID. Ballerina/John Wick: Also really good. Tons of action, a few cameos from Mr Wick. Clown in a Cornfield: Usual gore/horror with a clown. Interesting twist, but decent campy kind of horror if you're into that.

Any of you guys see this one? I wasn't expecting it to be horror until I watched the full trailer. I loved it. Acting was VERY well done and the overall story line kept me interested. Loved the ending.
