You realize what elementary curriculum consists of these days, don't you? Probably not. It's not focused on learning, that's for sure. We are pushing kids through school that CAN'T READ. They cannot do math, they have very little social skills. They don't know how to emotionally regulate to get along with their peers. They are handed tablets and phones at an early age to just sit and watch YouTube videos about K Pop Demon Hunters. our children are not getting smarter and the curriculum isn't helping. Sorry if that curriculum focuses on trans-type agendas. I've yet to see an engineer in a classroom taking apart an old school computer or phone to show kids how things work... Until this starts happening again, AI/ML will take over.

I did not say that eliminating humans is worth it; we AS humans need to be smarter about it. And that starts with education. But...these days, people seem more concerned about teaching our first graders that their peni$ can become a vagina rather than actual skills that they will absolutely need one day. Fock drag queen story hour, get someone in there that wants to teach kids about how things WORK.

With the idiots that are being pumped out of universities/colleges these days, AI is almost a need for several job functions. Colleges more worried about indoctrination instead of actual learning...this is what we get. I work in technology and a lot of it is going the way of AI and ML (machine learning). It's being used to make things more efficient because human involvement just sucks a$$ and can take twice as long to push code, products, or anything else out to consumers. Is it taking jobs? Yes. But until we revisit our education system and place value on actual learning and not dumbing sh!t down to the lowest level student, even at the elemantary level, then this is the way. And....it's cheaper for companies. Fool proof, no. But most def cheaper.

AMC Fear Fest had a Freddie/Jason marathon this weekend. I've never seen ALL of them, but I imagine I've seen parts of all of them at some point. I know I've seen the most recent remake of the OG Jason, never was a big Freddie fan. That all said, I don't think I really like these movies. It's kind of like Terrifier or SAW, the first one is decent maybe even good, but each one after that gets a little crazy and kind of dumb. I DO like the Michael Myers movies, tho. I could watch those all the time. Also, started the new Ed Gein series on Netflix with Charlie Hunnam. Not bad, but I found it was something that I just could NOT binge. I can listen to podcasts about Ed all day, but the series, while VERY well done and an excellent addition to the "Monster" series by Ryan Murphy, I found I needed a bit of a break.

Obviously, this mostly applies to tackle football at a younger age and head injuries. But I found in very interesting that if only 10% of mothers (not sure why they didn't mention dads) didn't allow their children (mostly boys) to play tackle football, eventually there would be no NFL. Also, not sure if this is a moon landing since that article is old, but I don't really care.

Not since I was a baby and of course I don't remember any of it. My dad is likely too old to travel back there now, at least he tells me he is.

I come from a long line of poor farmers and military men that moved from small farming communities in upstate NY (as late as the 1960s), and my mothers family who literally came over from Tennessee in a covered wagon in the early 1900s. LOVED Black Phone. Can't wait to see the second one. Also enjoyed Barbarian, didn't expect that one to turn out how it did either. I've never seen the V/H/S movies, but I thought there were a few of them?

Just the method in which they tell the story. It's told from different view-points and then at the end you see how it all kind of comes together.

I loved that one, rewatched it earlier this week. Very well done and I liked the story line.
