Yeah, there was an archive somewhere, but I have no idea where it went. It's been a long time.

Yes, her. I am still friends with her and many of the curly girls, even tho the board is long gone. All very sweet ladies.

Not ALL men! But it's always A man, isn't it? Same thing.

I am trying to figure out how they THINK this is okay. Ordering people to vote a certain way based on what someone THINKS just feels so icky.

Ah, yes. Love this thread. Brings back a lot of memories.

Sumthin like that.

If corporations want to start doing that, that's fine. But that's also driven by share holders, the market, voting. At least that kind of voting seems a bit more fair than voting for elected officials. How some of these elected officials become billionaires serving 70 plus years in an elected office just doesn't make sense to me. CEOs (generally) base their salaries and bonuses on how the company performs.

Oops, I think you're right, I was thinking of Kennedy being the youngest President.

If you're going to go this route, then you also need to get rid of Fetterman, Pelosi, McConnell. And you need to put age or term limits on these focks. Feinstein was literally trying to remaining office TO THE grave, her daughter was PoA making decisions. If you're going to point out "cognitive abilities" then it's not just Biden and Trump. There is a whole slew of these people who couldn't drive or tie their shoes, let alone be an elected official. Wait until 43 to be President? Sure. But you also can't be over 65.

Yeah, this part. Not cool. And this was back in 2017 and the ghost writer JUST deleted the conversations, 7 years later? I mean...

Just seeing him walk across the floor to the podiums, or the looks on his face, he clearly shows signs of dementia. He doesn't even need to talk to see this going on.

No offense taken, they don't work for me either. Even in the Pirates movie with Zoe Saldana, meh. Women were actually considered bad luck to be on board a ship.

Is it still racist if Disney was in talks with Margo Robbie first and then went to the Ayo Edebiri?

I agree.

I think that the SCOTUS needs to be very careful how they vote on this and think about how it can affect future elections for all offices. There, that's my feeling on the OP.

This isn't true. I complain about the number of transsexual threads all the time.
-
I hope I see it, it would be incredible.

Not the discussion; the need to create a new thread.

When I heard about this yesterday on the news, I was wondering which of our TDS sufferers would post about it.

Are There Any Comedians That are Funny Anymore ? (Stand Up)

I like Theo. I'm not incredibly familiar with the others, so I will have to check them out. -
I didn't hear about this, but it's focking awesome. He's such a focking joke.

Of course all of the areas that are OUTSIDE of SF are going to be nicer, which is my point. You wouldn't actually LIVE in the areas in SF that you're not seeing is my point. In the past, the park that you're talking about probably wasn't over run with homeless drug users. I wouldn't set foot near it after dark now. I am sure a lot of cities are "cool looking." Vegas is pretty cool looking. But you get down there on the streets and you can't walk 10 feet without something smelling like someone took a shiit. I am sure NYC is pretty cool looking too.

Safari, I am on a sweet MacBook. The whole transgender movement really does fascinate me in a number of ways, but right now I am finding more interest in reading about those who de-transition. Mostly because I like reading their stories of how they got to where they wanted to transition in the first place, how they went through it, and now how they want to go back. And I am not saying it in an anti-trans sort of way, or an "I told you so." I am thinking of it from the mental aspect and how our brains work the way that they do and how it's all encompassing and what it means for our future. Not just for children, but adults and society as well. Other societies went through similar things, the Grecian empires had homosexuality, all of that and reading how it's changed over the years and how it affects societies is really really interesting to me. It makes me sad that some people are trying to actively silence this part of the process; what happens if I change my mind? This is like one of those life decisions where you literally CANNOT go back. And we are moving forward like there will always be options to go back, or "fix it" again.

Where's @Voltaire when we need him?

You think the property value of the Denny's that closed is good?
