  1. Ok. So, you're planning on my husband dying in like the next year or two? Since divorce isn't anywhere on our radars. That's positive and refreshing.
  2. There are studies that have mentioned that. However, sex wouldn't be the primary driver for me to find someone new, so please don't try and look into my comments and find some kind of secret lesbian lifestyle I hope to one day have.
  3. I think I would be too picky. And I am also 47. Not many men my age, or slightly older are looking for a middle aged woman. I am not willing to be a nurse or a purse for someone either. So, I just have a feeling that the pickings would be pretty slim in terms of what men are looking for. And that's okay, I am not putting any blame on men for wanting what they want. I am sure I would have flings or friends with benefits, but I don't know. I know I don't think I'd live with someone again either.
  4. I had a reduction last summer.
  5. Again I am not saying that women aren't also imperfect or at fault. I just know why I will never date again, that's all I am saying. And unfortunately, I don't even have T & A to offer anymore, so at least there's that! Hahaha.
  6. No, it's the same thing. They are insisting on categorizing every one in terms of a sexual nature - like calling me Cisgender. Or rather, a heterocisgender female if you want to be precise. The LBTGQ+ crowd is the one that started with the labeling. And even now, they want me to be forced to call them by those labels. It's not ME telling them what they are. They are telling others (and trying to get people persecuted) what to say. It's not conservatives insisting this stuff. It's themselves.
  7. I never said women weren't at fault.
  8. This is why, if I am ever single again, I will likely never have a long term relationship with a man. It's really sad to come to the realization that this is all we will ever be to most men. They are either just looking to get laid or looking for a mommy figure. I've done that for over 25 years now, and I am over it. I don't need to spend any more time with a man that only wants this, there are plenty of other women out there that can give him this stuff.
  9. Asks the person of the party that INSISTS I use their correct pronouns and how DARE I misgender them.
  10. Rusty. That's not it. The part that I quoted is that you claim to NOT rail on conservatives, just MAGAturds. You rail on conservatives Rusty. You're doing it to jerry above, and you've done it to me several times in the past. I voted for Trump in 2020; BOOM! I am a MAGAturd. Even if I tell you that I dislike the man, I think he's an insufferable a$$hole, it doesn't matter. You've lumped ALL of us together. THAT'S my point. I believe in the 2nd Amendment. MAGAturd. I think Joe Biden sucks. MAGAturd. Anyone who goes against any kind of left leaning or liberal policy, statement, event, thing, they are ALL MAGAturds in your book. IDGAF what policies or positions you specifically embrace. Really. I don't focking care. So, I am sorry, I am not going to dredge through thousands and thousands of your posts under God knows what focking user name to find things. If you're countering that you do NOT rail on conservatives, JUST MAGAturds, then proceed to call JERRY of all people a MAGAturd, you're just being an argumentative troll. Anyways, have a great day.
  11. Ope. Jerry is a MAGAturd now.
  12. This. I've been lumped in with them too, not just recently, but for a long long a$$ time.
  13. So I can really only comment on this anecdotally. Of my liberal friends, I am aware that their children are in therapy and have been for some time. Each one has some kind of mental illness diagnosis; depression, anxiety, one was genderfluid for a time. My friend with four kids, each one in therapy, even the 9 year old. She's the one who stayed in bed for a week when Trump won, and is constantly worrying about the politics of the world, not sure what she'll do if Trump wins again. Of my conservative friends, none of their children are in therapy. Even the lesbian couples I know with children, none have a therapist. Even in my family, none of the conservative voters are in therapy. Just me, but that's because my mom is dying. Again, only my personal anecdotal experience, but it sure seems true.

    Was the 2020 election stolen?

    No.
  15. I remember years ago when people here talked about that function, they couldn't believe some people just couldn't "scroll past" or something like that. Like, some how you were a weak or bad person because you had to use that function. I have 5 Geeks on my ignore list; a couple are from years and years ago but obviously I haven't missed them. What say you about the ignore function? Poosays use it? Or it's been a godsend?

Do you really use the "Ignore User" function?

This. I have one alias I created about two years ago for a very specific reason/poster. I've used it 5 times and forgotten the email and password and I think the poster has been banned, or I haven't seen him in a long time. (I think I told you @OldMaid what it was). Other than that, it's not like I CARE people make tons of accounts, I just don't see the point of it when it's used for the reasons you mentioned.

    This economy is so bad

Even Costco gas, which is allegedly cheaper is $4.09 here in my city.

    This economy is so bad

You don't live in a blue state. 1 gallon of store brand 1% milk - $4.18 18 cage free (because that's all they have) store brand eggs - $6.07 4 sticks butter - $6.28 1 gallon of gas at the gas station less than a mile from my house - $4.29

Have we talked about the Epstein Island list?

I kind of wonder if any of these powerful guys said, "Hey Jeff. Um. You know if shiiite ever goes down, we've gotta kill you, right?" My money would be on the Clinton's murdering him in his cell.
  20. Children need to feel safe to be vulnerable and talk about thoughts and feelings. Done correctly, therapists are literally trained on how to do this. It can take a long time for anyone to feel comfortable talking to a therapist, even adults. Crap, it took me a long time to try and find a new one after a previous one retired. These kids have to feel like they are safe, someone is listening, someone cares about them. There really is a psychology to this, and if you can address those thoughts and issues BEFORE little Johnny goes and grabs his dad's gun, or stabs his 1st grade teacher, then maybe there is hope. Thing is that if the therapist/counselor SEES an issue that needs to be further addressed, then it needs to be addressed. That's where the parents having an issue with it would likely put a stop to it. MANY parents don't want to hear that their kid has mental issues, because it shows that there was something that parent did "wrong."

Do you really use the "Ignore User" function?

Good points. I also never understood the "report" feature, and have never used that. Or people who create multiple multiple user names, just to troll. It makes NO sense to me.
  22. Right? Anyways, I thought addressing mental health in schools was a great idea. Now, it seems that it's only addressed when the child has some kind of behavioral issue; one of my friends is an elementary school counselor. She really only sees the kids that have an IEP or something like that. Addressing the classroom as a whole, or every kid individually just seems like we could get a little control or address issues before they start.

Why hasn't he done anything about these? I am asking honestly, because he was able to Exec Order and reverse so many other things.
