Vagina.

Well, I kind of figured if cops in CA now have a law where they have to refer to someone in the correct pronoun or gender, then you probably might want to as well. Don't want to offend anyone.

nothing will be done about the list, unfortunately. None of these sick focks are going to spend any time in jail or anything, and if elected officials, they will be elected again, especially if they are democrats.

You don't think that biological females should be playing in female sports? Transgender boys are female to male.

Maine’s top election official removes Trump from 2024 primary ballot

You literally just described Biden. -
This is a great one, and SO true. We generate SO much trash and waste as Americans. I was surprised when I was in Europe that they have very little trash and waste; they recycle a LOT. I know some of us do here too, but it's on such a small scale compared to them.

Uh Oh..The California dream may be cracking a bit
TheNewGirl replied to supermike80's topic in The Geek Club
We did have a bill that passed a year or so ago that allows gas taxes to be raised without voting on it. They could use that to try and drum up more tax money too. And the penalties for leaving the state if you made all your money here. It's already incredibly difficult to purchase a home here, let alone find a decent place to rent. If anything, this should be a great reminder to not vote for Newsom when he runs for President. He often states that CA "leads the way" in a number of areas. -
Discussion about rape and the movie The Accused

Maybe sometimes, but when the left roots for someone on the 'other side" to be hurt or killed, seems plausible. I am currently watching the documentary Victim/Suspect and how quickly women who DO report these crimes walk in a victim and out as the suspect - meaning that they are immediately questioned as is if they were in the wrong or are filing a false report. Even more so if the perp they are accusing is someone with stature or clout in the community (even if it's a person impersonating a police officer themselves). It's really truly frightening for women. Reading some of the "Oh, yeah...some of that was totally done!" and being so nonchalant about it...it's maddening and makes me sad if these people have any females in their lives. -
The first thing she may ask you to do is address the substance abuse. Can't really do much work without addressing that and getting to the root of everything. Sending you ((hugs)). You can do this.

They canceled the 92nd annual Christmas tree lighting in Sacramento due to pro hamas/pro Palestine groups. Newsome canceled and will do tree lighting "remotely' as there are "tensions in the county." There was also a very large police presence at the California International Marathon over the weekend at the start, finish, and along the course due to "protesters." Hmm. I wonder if they could use this "tension" as a "mail in ballot" measure again?

How is addressing mental health and societies "contagion" moving backwards? You'd rather they just listen to pre-pubescent children and give them drugs and surgery that does irreparable harm? Sterilize them when they are 12 so that when they are 25 they realize they were wrong and want children? I don't understand how addressing the BIG picture (including ALL aspects of gender dysphoria; mental, physical, emotional, etc) is bad.

Bunny and Me at lunch in New Orleans
TheNewGirl replied to RaiderHaters Revenge's topic in The Geek Club
Could be. I have also had my fair share of online slap fights with TK and others, and I am still there, so who knows. I also went through a wee bit of a hazing when I joined there, for lack of a better term, so I am not sure if that's the reason you were banned. -
I think he actually won a Raspberry award.

Sorry, POOL HALL. And even if you didn't see it in a pool hall like the movie mentioned, you still haven't answered my question. Am I reading correctly that it was common to see your friends try and rape/SA a drunk girl and no one would step in? Or even later on say, "Not cool, bro." I've corrected my above post below. -

This is basically what I was saying on a previous page. I am glad to see that it's discussed among some men. I know that when the #metoo movement started and I read more about it, I absolutely had things happen to me that would be considered assault today. I remember questioning one man when it happened, "Why would you do that to me?" And his response was it was just something that "guys did." Hmm. Okay. (He's also the one I consider my rock-bottom in my dating life, so there's that). -

Wait, are you saying it was common to have friends that would try and fock a drunk girl in a pool? Where others were okay with it and would egg them on? And none of their (your) friends would tell them to stop or that it wasn't cool to do that? Am I reading this right? -

I am glad someone still recognizes this. There is the "not all men" comment out there when this subject is brought up in any number of circles. Maybe not all men, but after we take away THOSE men, their supporters and defenders...there are few actual MEN left. Not all men, but MEN. It's true in that women still have to be cautious when going out on a date, or simply walking to our cars when it's dark out. No one is brining race into this, Peenie. Mindset and behaviors cross all races, ethnicities, classes, etc. No one is bringing up race. -

But Farmer Ted is the one that actually commits the act. Also, just saying you could violate someone doesn't mean you do it. It is just a movie, like mike said. At this point, I am not sure what your argument is, or what you're trying to "prove." The Accused in the OP is a true story that happened. Sixteen Candles is an 80s comedy, no basis in truth that I am aware of. What is your argument Peenie? Don't use movie references, or anything like that...what is the statement that you're trying to prove? -

No, it was still rape back then. That hasn't changed...it was rape. -

I think that she's just trying to show that in the 80s they made movies in which the woman was obviously raped and many thought it was funny. Using a pop culture reference. These days, this would be immediately censored or rewritten. -

Farmer Ted raped the prom queen in this movie. She was completely drunk, can't remember it the next day, etc. I am not about to make excuses for the 80s, but if you put Farmer Ted and Jake Ryan in a room and she said, "Farmer Ted raped me!" they'd likely believe that Jake Ryan was more likely to rape. Toxic male garbage, etc.
