Violent Liberal Protesters Defy Order to Disperse as Tensions Rise 🌈 - Liberals are Pro-Hamas & Anti-Isreal
TheNewGirl replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
it surprises me how many white people are involved in these protests, you know that if Biden allows refugees to come over and terrorists REALLY start to take over and have their way, fly their flags, whatever....the white people with their purple hair and rainbow flags will be the first to go. Some of the protest groups even refused to show up on some campuses due to the fact that there were TOO MANY white people and not enough Iranians, Palestinians, and Muslims. That should have sent a loud message to who is welcome at these 'camps.' -

Biden says Americans have 'right to protest, but not the right to chaos'

How many need to be affected before it's a problem? -
I find this a little frightening, esp with what's going on at college campuses. Jewish students being forced out of classes, not allowed in, being bullied and so on. And before anyone says it's not happening, there is video everywhere. These "protesters" are not peaceful, they are yelling at the police, all kinds of stuff. Inviting a known terrorist org here with open arms is just ridiculous.

Why does it matter if it's CA vs other states? -
You're right, it's a hypothetical. Sorry.

The information about the type of bear isn't needed, nor is telling the woman to "not go out alone." This is kind of how we/women are proving the point of r@pe culture. We can't tell by looking at a man whether he is dangerous or not. And telling us not to go out alone assumes that it's our fault for being out alone, aka victim blaming. Some of these comments on this thread are pretty much proving the point of why so many women pick bear.

What Do You Think Ruined the WNBA?
TheNewGirl replied to EternalShinyAndChrome's topic in The Geek Club
Men dressed as women. -
Only if you're around their cubs. Bears will either see you as a threat or food. Do men see women as a threat or food?

I have not been repeatedly assaulted by men out on the trails, but I have been a victim of assault; both by men I've known/been dating, and men that I've just met and seem relatively nice. They don't simply "leave you alone" like the bear has. Point being, if I were to be left alone with a strange man or a bear, the worst thing the bear could do is kill me. The man could do/has done much worse...and if I were to tell people about it, people would either blame me for it, or not believe me at all. It's likely I'd be more believed about being attacked by a bear than a man.

I dunno, some of them have some pretty violent mental issues, but I won't go there.

My mom had a book called "From Conception to Birth" with pictures, it was published in 1971. I remember flipping through it when I was little, finding every bit of it fascinating. I learned more at home from that book than I ever did at school. None of it really changed my views over the years about conception, child birth, pregnancy, or abortions...and it didn't change much after my own pregnancies and having children of my own - one being a boy and one a girl. So not sure how they are trying to force people to change their opinions. Just wish they'd stop trying to force things on people. Having an education program is great, but having it for education is the reason, that's great. Having it to indoctrinate them into voting one way or another isn't the way to go about it. And it certainly doesn't need to be for kindergartners or elementary school kids, there's an age appropriate time for this stuff. Anyways. Carry on.

Did you hear that? I think it was the point whizzing right over your heid.

How can I get more voters? Student loans. Abortion. Economy is great. Menthol cigs. More money to our buds in Ukraine, Gaza, Iran...wait...bud...hmmm.......I might be forming an actual thought here. THAT'S IT. WEED.

Anyone have experience creating/running nonprofits?
TheNewGirl replied to Stryker Ryker's topic in The Geek Club
Yes. I was a part of a nonprofit start. up in 2021, ended up disbanding because it just did NOT work out and I found myself doing a lot of the work...but I digress. Research what kind of nonprofit you're going to have and what federal/state (501c) it falls under and what is required around that, bylaws, does it require an LLC or something else to be incorporated around that? Do you need a certain number of board members? Things like that. How are you going to get started money wise? Are you doing it grassroots, or do you need to have start up $? These may sound super basic, but it's really what got ours in trouble. The president of ours had some really lofty ideas and goals and wanted to go grassroots, well...those grassroots didn't really generate funds to get us going. I was the treasurer and had to come up with bylaws, accounting, and ended up contributing a lot of my own money towards the start up costs (which I did get back, but caused the Org to disband). Our president wanted to get started tomorrow on everything and didn't really give a lot of thought to how long a lot of this stuff can take. You can use something like legal zoom or whatever if you don't want to get a lawyer, most tax forms. you can file on your own for nominal fees and its' not big deal. But my number one piece of advice is to do all your research, get all this shiiite figured out, then start up the nonprofit when you have it all ready. -
Yes, that's right...like the very first part of breastmilk before the milk actually comes in. And, we know it's not human colostrum, so it's cow? That kinda grosses me out a little.

Public schools to show the science of development in utero? In elementary? Middle school? What age? Because I remember learning this around 5th or 6th grade during human development or family life or whatever it was called. Need more info about this new law before I become outraged in my usual Karen MAGA manner that's expected of me around these parts.

I binged this last weekend, and OMG. Tough to watch in a few spots, absolutely. I don't know why I waited to watch, it kept coming up on my suggested list. I thought it was incredible. It really made me want to learn more about the actual person, since it was based on his story of being stalked and all of that. I did read a bit more about him and I thin the transexual part might have been real since he identifies as bisexual, so some of t he story makes a little sense. I also read that after the show was released, people everywhere have been trying to find the "real" names of those involved in his story, so he had to publicly tell people to stop or something like that. Anyways, loved all of it, and the ending made me cry, I really did start to feel for his stalker in some ways and I think he did too it was a different kind of obsession for the both of them.

A station in Menlo Park, CA hit $7. https://www.newsweek.com/california-gas-hits-7-1893336 This is more than Federal hourly minimum wage. And they say that CA gas is higher due to "high production costs."

Tesla laid off over 3500 in SF just a few weeks ago....not good for anyone there either...what's the difference in Sparks? Electric cars aren't doing as well as people thought they would...so people are losing their jobs. Or are you saying it's an Elon thing? My husband works for company that is knee deep into the auto "world." Lenders, manufacturers, sellers (online and dealerships), KBB, auction houses, NASCAR, you name it. So, he often has a bit more insight into what's happening with sales every where. Bottom line is that people aren't buying electric. They just aren't. The ROI on electric isn't worth it, nor is the "hassle" for many; having to find very specific route for road travel so you can stop and charge. Road trips taking twice as long so you can stop and charge, the extra expense to some electric bills at home and on the road...it's more than just "good for the environment" which...when you really look into lithium mining and long term storage when the batteries are done is HORRIBLE for the Earth, but I digress and no one wants to hear about that. Just put the that shiiite at the bottom of the ocean and forget about it, right? Several other small electric car manufacturers have gone out of business very quietly over the last few years, and no one has heard a peep. It's not that great of a sector anymore. Tesla had the upper hand at one point because they were the "only" but not so much anymore. Now others have joined in and found out that it's not that great. People still prefer gas.

Condoleezza Rice comes to the aid of whitey and slaps around The Spew
TheNewGirl replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
Focking hate that show, I am surprised that it's still on. They are so incredibly short sighted, it's awful. I don't understand how they even get GUESTS on there anymore, it's an embarrassment. -
I bought some by that company Ryze? I think....I can't get into the habit of drinking it over my regular coffee, so I try and mix some in with it. It's' not bad. I would probably see the benefits if I did ONLY the mushroom coffee. What is colostrum supposed to do? Isn't that the really fatty/creamy part of milk?
