How is the system stacked against men? Men are being extorted because the woman stayed home for 15 years and raised the kids? She shouldn't get anything at all? What would make the system "more fair?" Friends who are "together" with children - what happens when one wants out? She should get nothing because you know, they weren't "really married?"

The issue with these is if/when children are introduced. You're making a LOT of this sound like it's the fault of the woman that make the marriage miserable or unneeded. Men don't also "steal" half when a divorce comes about? Or impede access to children?

This. It's just one of the reasons why no one wants to TRY anymore - at anything really. No one likes to feel discomfort; physical, mental, whatever. It's why we keep asking for debt to be forgiven, people don't want to challenge themselves and WORK harder. Addictions are at an all time high; alcohol, drugs (esp ones like heroin and fentanyl). We HATE discomfort and anhedonia, but as humans we are designed to seek comfort unfortunately. I see no-fault divorce the same, it can work and maybe needs to be there for some folks. But just using it as a, "Well, it was too hard." just seems like a cop out. If my husband approached me and wanted to leave and I wanted to keep the marriage going, WHY would I want to stay with someone who didn't want me? If he fell out of love and we were forced to stay together, that just sounds miserable.

What are the alternatives?

The issue tho is that a lot of them will be back to those same areas. We deal with it here in Sacramento too. They clear about the camps and everything for one event, and they come right back. Not sure what a long term solution is unfortunately. The Sacramento Sheriff's department did a survey, and they asked 100 homeless people if they'd like help or services, only one said yes. And yet, it's an issue that our "leaders" still want money for, when tackling homelessness is just a money pit. The services are there, they don't want them.

Less than a mile from APEC. All this leading to question: Where did San Francisco's homeless population go? We found many of them on Willow Street.

I am truly shocked that his handlers are letting him run again. I really wish someone (maybe his Dr Wife) would tell him that he should retire. It's not like he needs the money or is doing any good for the country.

Well....another policy they are arguing about is the suspension policy. Native and AA children are apparently suspended more than their white counterparts; which feeds into systemic racism. So, while on strike, let's just keep them ALL out of school, not just the kids that make threats or cause harm to other students (these are the suspendible issues they are questioning, along with HOW kids are suspended). Currently, teachers do not suspend the kids. Kids are referred to the board for the issue that occurs and if it meets criteria, kid is suspended. Apparently this is not fair to the non-white children.
