Yeah, I've never really cared who celebrities support. I don't care what they say during acceptance speeches or during concerts, or anything like that either. I don't really think they have room to speak, IMO. They aren't living like the rest of us, you know? When they pay to have people drive them around, or do their shopping for them...they are really relatable to the middle or lower class. I don't care how they vote or what their views are. The Rock is like Oprah and can go buy up acres and acres of land in Hawaii and think nothing of it, create his own little colonized farm next to Zuckerberg with cows that eat nothing but pineapple and weed. Saying that people won't commit suicide because food is more expensive is incredibly short sighted; despite having a job. Knowing that you're working and still cannot feed your family is still pretty horrible.

This isn't the ONLY reason people commit suicide. I am sure people who work and still cannot pay the bills still commit suicide. I am not saying they are mutually exclusive and I am sure that yes, being unemployed makes you more likely to do it. FFS. Come on, you're better than this, man.

This is not necessarily true. Many people commit suicide despite having jobs, and still not being able to feed and support their families. Even those who have jobs may still not be making enough to pay the bills.

I think it's cool, but then I think all things space and stuff are pretty cool. I does suck that today it's completely clear blue skies and we aren't in the path at all. Just went outside and it's maybe a teensy bit darker outside, but I see nothing. Supposed to see like really little shadows or something, but I don't see shiiite. The last eclipse we were in the path of here in CA, and it was cloudy as fock. I was out for a run and I'd forgotten about it, so when it started getting darker, I was like WTF?! And I actually looked up and kind of saw it since it was cloudy and my retinas didn't burn. Just seems that when we are in the path, we don't see anything...and when we aren't in the path, the sky is focking clear.

Clear blue skies here today but it's' northern central CA, so I'll only see about 46% of the eclipse.

And again...people aren't paying attention to WARN notices. If employers give notices to employees that they are being laid off...your employer lays you off but gives you 60 days before your severance kicks in, they do NOT have to file s a WARN notice with the state. If you find a job within that 60 days that you're still being paid/you're still employed, you're "technically" never laid off, you never really lost your job. It's kind of a loop hole that makes it look like people aren't really losing their jobs. My work does this. You get laid off but they have a 60day period where you're still paid/considered employed before severance kicks in. If you find a job in that 60 days, you don't get severance, so you were never REALLY laid off. So the company doesn't have to tell the state that jobs were "lost." I wonder how many other places do this, can really fock up the numbers I am sure.

Ah, no. I don't like men who show their a$$ cracks. I do like the more alpha men types tho; taller, bigger, maybe the slight dad-bod. Not incredibly bro-dude or gym rat. From what I have read, it ALL varies, even gender affirming care, it's not covered every where. BUT...it's even more difficult to get detransitioning care than it is to get the initial treatment to transition. You're more likely to get the initial transitioning hormones and treatment, but to go back, may not be covered. If you google, there's a TON out there about how to transition and how to pay for it, but very little about how to detransition and how to pay for that, and what to do if you change your mind.

And Oprah. She's the worst. How this woman has become a "favorite" of so many is beyond me. She's vile and evil.

I've said it a billion times, I wish people would read more about de-transitioning people. And why isn't detransitioning covered by gender-affirming care? Isn't it the same thing? I am still affirming my gender, it's just not what I thought I wanted it to be. Or isn't being straight also affirming my gender, why aren't contraceptives for women covered? Just another way for people to make money and have control.

Of course, not all men expect it, just like not all women expect men to pay their bills.

But how is this true when men take women out to dinner and expect s3x? They are looking for someone whom they do not respect? They are looking for someone easy? It's kind of countering what you're saying. It's difficult for men to get laid, but yet it's what they are expecting when they take a woman out for one date and drop some change on dinner. They are literally seeking a woman they can disrespect, someone they can use for one night, claim that she gave it up TOO easily and that she's not the one for them. THEN comes along the one WHO doesn't give it up, and she's too difficult for them and not worth the chase. What gives? This makes NO sense.

So they will only report the white babies? Won't that make it look like only white babies are born addicted to drugs? Isn't that racist, too?

I had a much larger post that I back buttoned earlier, because there are indeed two sides and I think it involves much more than just what is seen on these tik Tok videos that are "stitched" or whatever it is. But what I see...and I get that younger generations are different. Even my cousins in their late 30s seem not to be this way. But it really does seem that men really do just have a strong dislike for women and see them as a bunch of freeloaders. And when men do anything FOR a woman, something is immediately expected in return (like I said, it's mostly s3x) if she didn't contribute to a date financially. BUT...then he will complain about a woman's "body count" and wants to find a virgin (yes, this appears to be a thing again, or still). I won't argue that it seems that some women ARE freeloaders and do seek out the handsome, ripped alpha that makes 6 figures, I am not saying those women aren't out there. It's the hatred of women that's expressed that bothers me and these men aren't afraid to say it loudly. There are even some that express how they are OWED, and if she says NO to s3x, he doesn't need to accept that, and he can keep pursuing as long as he wants (this is r@pe culture, btw). It's all very scary. I think some of it is that there are a LOT of women out there that really don't need a man to take care of them anymore. We make our own money, buy our own houses, fix our own cars (or can pay for someone else to do it) and so on. A lot of my single female friends have been single for YEARS and are fine with it. Some women are even fine with celibacy, because introducing a man into their life just as a fock buddy isn't worth the drama that can come with it. I think that makes some men angry. We have our girlfriends for some companionship, and if we plan our later years right, we don't need someone to take care of us when we are old - and...many of my friend who are single mothers have found that being a single mother is MUCH easier after their divorce, the mental load is lighter and they have one less person that they are "taking care of." So, we raise children on our own a lot too. Put all of that together, and yeah, maybe men are a little upset with us.

This is going to be great in the summer time, anyone want to guess how high gas in CA goes? Last summer saw $7/gallon in some areas....anyone want to bet is hits $8?
