Never claimed to be a hard core righty. I think I addressed that in my first reply to you. I am done here. Have a good day, Worms.

I am pro-choice. Wow, what a conundrum we are in now! OH NOE!!!!!
-
Must be? You're not sure? Maybe it's abortion. Women's right to choose.
-
Hehehe. It always cracks me up when any poster claims to know so much about another...and then can't figure stuff like this out. The "atheist" comment alone told me that Worms doesn't know d*ck about me. Rusty teases me about this ALL the focking time and has since day 1.

What am I owning up to exactly? I am not a hardcore conservative, sorry. I will vote lib/blue but it is really more on local issues that might/might not have an effect on my "one issue" that I tend to vote towards (or against). I am pro 2nd amendment however I also believe that we need stricter laws; I also live in CA in which we have extremely strict laws. I think other states should catch up. I am not atheist, I am more agnostic. I used to be a Wicca practitioner, but it's been over 20 years since I've done that. I am pro trans rights, LGBTQ whatever you'd like to call them. I don't care how people choose to live their lives, but please don't tell me how to live mine. There ya go. Now, if you really "knew me" as poster like you claim to, then you would have known all of this. I've also stated that I am (95% of the time) a ONE issue voter. Let's see if you can figure out what that ONE issue is, since you know me so well.

Sounds like I need to go back and watch Twin Peaks.

Just these highlighted comments mean you actually know nothing about me and likely have me confused with another poster. I've been around here for 20 years and I guarantee there are several posters who can answer these questions.
-
But this is what you do to Conservatives. I tell you that I vote Conservative and you immediately label me as a gun loving bible thumper who is against trans rights, I am a nazi, etc.

So those who support Palestine can openly support killing and terrorism; there's video of people in London screaming out windows to kill all Jews, Fock the Jews, etc. This is the SAME group that calls for immediate laws to be protected, cancellation and "lynching" of people who burn the LGBTQ flag. Where is the "love and tolerance" for all? Help me understand this.

We watched "No One will Save You" kind of meh. No real dialog in the entire movie. Aliens, etc. I had to google the ending because it felt like one of those, 'there's more meaning here' and there was. Not terrible, but just interesting. "The Call." A few years old, and we picked it on a whim. Found out that one of my FAVORITE horror queens is in it, Lin Shaye (Insidious) as well asTobin Bell (?) who plays Jigsaw. Not bad, some gore. Interesting premise to what's going on takes a bit to get going. Predictable in a couple of spots.

But....how would you know if there is antisemitism or bigotry if you're not reading it?

Fock I think you're the most delusional poster here. -
Some of you are bigger focking pieces of shiite than I originally thought.

Not sure if he actually abuses his dog, however if it's bitten someone 11 times...you and I know that if it were OUR dogs it would have been put down and we would have been sued like focking crazy. This dog walks.

This is one of my favorites. Watched it several times. Last night we watched, Talk to Me. Australian movie. Actually pretty good.

Transgender World Cup swimming races scrapped after no one enters
TheNewGirl replied to Baker Boy's topic in The Geek Club
I don't disagree with you on WHY someone transitions; it's because they feel they were born as the wrong sex/gender. I know this. I've said several times that I don't believe they transition just to excel at sports. That's a foolish reason to transition in my opinion. -

I think you're hung up on a couple of the things here; the whole pretend thing is kind of ridiculous. Again, to "pretend" to be the opposite sex and compete, you have to be on hormones and blockers and all kinds of garbage that shows you're below a certain level of testosterone. WHY would anyone do this to be 36th in the women's category? If that's the TRUE driving force, then there's a lot more wrong with Lia Thomas than previously thought. They want to be treated as real women. To be called a real woman in sports, they want to join that category. Doing so gives them an unfair advantage, they win and literally "steal" places from women who've been working to achieve this their entire lives. To create (or keep) the field even for those biological women, they create a new category specifically for trans-females. Joining that category means: They really aren't "real" women. They are in their own category. They will be competing against other trans women, who might or might have unfair advantages due to the hormones, time on hormones, whether they reached puberty before/after hormones, etc. They won't place as well as they do in the women category, because of the bonus of being stronger and faster than 90% of the individuals they are competing against. Put these things together and they don't join the category designed just for them. WHAT?! No one joined?! WHY NOT?! -

I didn't say that the ONLY reason they compete with other women is due to advantage; it's one of them, and it's a big one, IMO. And if having their own category and competing in general was that important, they would have entered it. I'd be curious what their reasons are for not joining that category. They want to be seen as "real" women. As a bonus, they win everything. WHY would they enter a category where they are less likely to place in competitive sports like this? Placing means potential money, notoriety, and perhaps endorsements or scholarships. -

Who competes in the trans women category? Other trans women, aka biological males. They are still essentially competing against other males, they have NO advantage. I am not saying that this is the ONLY reason they want to complete in bio-female categories, however they are probably less likely to win against other trans women. Especially if their hormone levels are all at specific levels determined by the sport...BUT...you have one dude that started transitioning in his teens vs the one in his 20s..and the one in his 20s will already have SOME biological advantage. They are still (in the most basic sense) bio-men competing against bio-men. They just call themselves women. This isn't really difficult to understand from my perspective. They can call themselves the giraffe category, who gives a fock. It's about strength, speed, fitness, muscle, height, weight...you put someone naturally bigger and stronger against someone who isn't and you know who is going to win. This is why for years and years bio men have been faster and stronger than bio females...across nearly EVERY sport. It's like the Lia Thomas/Riley Gains thing. Lia Thomas is 6'1". Riley Gains is 5'9". Take away everything else, and Lia already has an advantage in the pool. Lia went from 555th in mens swimming to 36th in women's. Lia isn't going to want to complete with other trans-females and go back to being mid to back of the pack. Would you?
