Not specifically a death day. However, I will randomly think of certain people who've passed and that's usually when I take the time to remember them. I like to think that they are passing through my thoughts at random times for a reason. I can see how someone's passing day would be important though, I think it's good to make it kind of a Remembrance Day. I am also in the camp that getting attached or loving someone/something (like a pet) is truly inviting yourself for future grief. It's probably why I will probably not own a dog again, or get married again. I can't imagine losing my husband or my dog. Or my kids.

Do you have any CLOSE personal experience with someone who has dementia, Alzheimers, or Parkinsons disease? By close I mean a parent or sibling that you SEE or give care to on a regular basis?
-
Parkinsons or some kind of dementia. IT's like his brain just......stops.

FEMA is running out of money: https://www.cnn.com/2023/08/28/politics/fema-climate-resiliency-fund/index.html#:~:text=The new money%2C which will,is bearing down on Florida. And they want to pass a $3 billion bill to increase FEMA for "climate resiliency." And of course...we have to include more money for Ukraine. I don't blame the house conservatives for putting up a fight. We have sent Ukraine SO much that our own cities are burning to the ground or being flooded by hurricanes...and Biden just talks about the fire in his kitchen that almost made him lose his Corvette. FFS.

I cannot even believe they are going to have him run again. No other prospects? Really? -

Wow. This made me emotional. -
Here middle school starts at 6th grade...sooo 11 or 12. Maybe even some 10 year olds in there depending on birthday (I was 10 in 6th grade for a bit).

A-focking-men. Seriously get these OLD focks out of there. Biden, Feinstein, Pelosi...all of them. Including Fetterman. I know he's younger, but I am sorry...anything that causes cognitive decline and you shouldn't be able to run for a higher office like that. Might as well let schizophrenics run, FFS. Watching these people decline so quickly IN public is really just sad and embarrassing. Term limits. Age limits. Including the SCOTUS.

Oh man, I don't remember. He's 21 now...maybe around 10 or 11?

I agree, S1 was better than 2. Ed Kemper (the serial killer they interview) was incredibly calm during his interviews, this actor did an amazing job. I wish the series was renewed because they killer they are following (the TV repair/security guy) is the BTK killer, would have been cool to see how they were able to eventually profile him and find him.

Probably needed all those emails to create multiple accounts on a low rent fantasy football message bored. -
I'e never been on a jury. I usually say, "If they've made it this far in the process, they are probably guilty."

Dylan Mulvany seems to be pretty anti-conservative. He creates a lot of content to try and make a quick buck.

This is kind of what I think too. Weird that the DNA was found in interesting places (like her car).

I am rewatching this, and I haven't read this thread... But now in 2022...what's your take? Did he kill Teresa? In watching it now, I am finding the timeline of events from his first arrest (and the cops and everyone focking up) to this girl being murdered is kind of interesting. And who gets out after 10 plus years, kills someone knowing that they'd go back?

I am sorry, is this a serious question? -

I like how Biden has cured cancer. YAY! -
Neiman Marcus is still open in Union Square, I believe. I would guess they may close as well, though. They didn't do well during/after the pandemic.

IIRC, it was zero, or pretty close to that. -
I've been here 20 years and I remember probie.

No focking way, dude. Never happened.

Looking at getting one, but need some kind of chiller so I am not constantly adding ice to it. If you have one of these, what kind of chiller do you have? Thanks.

Cold plunges help with a lot of stuff; raising dopamine is one of them...which might help with libido. It also helps with inflammation, cardiovascular/circulation benefits, etc.

I find this to be true as well. I've been unfriended on FB and I've seen other liberals do it conservative folks. I've never once unfriended anyone, family or friend for their political views. It was awful when Trump was first elected, I saw members of my family lose their minds and they haven't talked to family members in YEARS because of this. My hubs cousin has severe TDS. She unfriended and blocked me a few months back and I saw her at a family reunion. The way she treated me was abhorrent. I've never heard such vinegar from her and just plain NASTINESS. IDGAF what kind of event is going on, but if you can't shove down those feelings for 5 minutes of conversation at a FAMILY reunion, then don't FOCKING come to it. There were 50 people there, she couldn't talk to me for 5 minutes without being a jerk before moving onto someone she voted the same as. I haven't ever told my staunch liberal BFF that I don't vote like she does. She'd likely throw away over 30 years of friendship without thinking twice. She wrote letters to Hillary, stayed in bed for a week when Trump won in 2016 and ranted, raved, cried every day. I would never get rid of her as s friend because of how she votes. I don't base my friendships or family on that.
