This. I just didn't have the money to go to concerts like some kids do these days. My parents certainly wouldn't shell out hundreds for me to go. Many of the shows I saw were like if they were performing at the state fair or something like that.

For you, it's an issue. Save the children. For me, it's not an issue because I know what I'd be exposing my children to and I CHOOSE not to do that. Who am I to tell another parent that they can't do it either? Why do all of your threads/posts spin off into LGBTQ+ land? Like ALL of them...you bring up DQ shows and children.

Maybe they have no right to be exposed? Isn't that what the laws are; don't be naked in public?

I have enough to worry about with my own family than to worry about someone else taking their kids to a DQ show. Who gives a fock? This is how I feel Not me. I don't believe in abortion up to birth. I don't know of anyone IRL that is okay with this either.

Personally, if parents take their kids to this stuff, that's on them. In the long run, I might not think it's appropriate, but I don't think it's might right to tell others how to raise their kids (unless actual abuse/beating/molesting is taking place). I can't understand why everyone (they know who they are) is so hung up on the DQ stuff. Just don't take your kids if you don't think it's right.

How come those aren't being upheld when kids show up at these things? Or when parades have naked people and kids are there?

Sigh. I know child abuse comes in many forms. The examples of abuse, beating and molesting are literally CRIMES. You can be a bad parent without committing crimes...taking children to a. DQ show isn't committing a CRIME. LCIAFP

Yes they do. If I chose to be a bad parent and my kids turn out to be degenerate folks, then that's on me. I have the freedom (and the right) to be a terrible parent.

Sacramento city mayor (Steinberg) says that the city needs to add more climate change items to the agenda. He used words like "Global Boiling" as opposed to global warming. He also made a big deal about "Hurricanes in California?!" and all of that. Said that in order for these climate change issues to be addressed, ballot measures needed to be added....because the only way to pay for this (to SAVE US ALL) is by........INCREASING TAXES. I am of the mind that if you vote YES on something that increases taxes, then YOU should be taxed, not those who voted NO.

Jeesus. This has the potential to be extremely ugly. This is a terrible terrible thing.

We used to hear more about the First Lady (Michelle Obama and her quest to make America healthy or whatever it was; fock even Melania Trump did stuff that we at least heard about). I don't really remember hearing much about Jill in the past either.

Unless there is a specific "no kids allowed" venue, then that's tough to police. How does this affect YOU? These parents taking their kids, how does it affect YOU and your life?

it looks like 'Smarties." Also, the girl who walks away looked more like, "Okay, they are throwing stuff and I don't want to get hit." The person on stage wasn't like gently throwing, either. Those things were flying thru the air. I also don't think this is 'abuse.' These parents still have a choice to take kids to events like this, no one is being forced. That said, whether or not that's a good choice for the parents to make, I can't say. It's kind of up to them. Would I take my kids? Probably not, but that doesn't mean that we don't have discussions about the trans community, or any other community for that matter.

That video kind of hurt to watch. I am not sure what happened before they started filming. I felt bad for his dog, really. You could tell he was trying to pull away. I hate people.
