I posted in another thread a while ago on how one of Hitler's biggest threats was capitalism. He made several speeches about it as well.
They first started by changing the language. Certain words had to be used, or not used, or whatever. Removing things like books, changing history. Removing monuments. If you failed to participate, you were outed, ostracized, whatever you want to call it. They took away the ability for citizens to protect themselves. Slowly changing the rules.
It's not like Hitler happened over night. He was an opportunist. He saw a weak country, he was more intelligent than I think realize. Fock, even the lay German citizens had NO idea they were mere miles from camps where people were being murdered. They just thought it smelled funny. Seriously.
Anyways, there are smaller things happening now that will lead to bigger problems. We have an entire generation of kids right now being brought up to literally HATE our country, the flag, it's history, all of it. And they aren't going to fight for it when we need them the most.
Nazi Germany and WW2 didn't start overnight. It was a slow burn for years before it actually started. Just saying.
