    Trade away A. Rodgers?

Megatron makes the deal tempting, but I would say no. You already have excellent receivers with Jones and Marshall, you don't really need Calvin Johnson. Look at it this way. The downgrade at QB (from A-Rod to Rivers) is greater than the upgrade at your WR position (Nicks to Johnson). Rivers, as he's shown in Week 1, can still be unreliable. With Rodgers, you're almost guaranteed 30 points a week. Unless you can get a better RB from him, I wouldn't pull the trigger on this trade.

    RB Turner for TE Gates?

I think so. There are a lot of targets in GB for A-Rod. You're never really confident that Finley will have a good game. He's really not that much better than Martellus Bennett (in terms of reliability). I'm not sure why you don't want Davis, but yeah, I think you can realistically target TE's like Hernandez and Gates. Gronk and Graham are out of reach.

    Who should I start?

I would start Reggie Wayne at WR, and Alfred Morris at flex. Wayne is the the most reliable target for Andrew Luck. He'll get plenty of targets, and should come down with plenty of catches. I know people don't trust Shanahan, but if there's ever a time to do it, it's with Morris. He's earned the starting job last Sunday. Whether or not he'll be starter in Week 15, we don't know. But he is the lead back right now, and he should get you big points going up against a crummy Rams defense. I wouldn't start Lloyd this week. He hasn't become a central part of the Patriots offense just yet, and he's going up against Patrick Peterson, who is a pretty good cornerback. Between Morris and Lloyd at flex, start Morris. Trade help

Neither of those are good deals. If you forced me to pick one, I would go for AJ Green. But really, I would've rejected the offers without any hesitation. Can you offer some thoughts on my question? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=406706

    RB Turner for TE Gates?

OK, well in your situation, I would actually recommend trading Turner. There's no need for you to have that many good RB's sitting on the bench. Plus, your TE position isn't overwhelming. I might see if you can get Hernandez or Gates with one of your rookie RB's (Morris or Martin). Maybe you could even throw in Fleener for them. If not, trading Turner isn't a bad deal. You want to have elite players at each position, not stockpile talent at one position where you can only start two. If you can trade a RB for an elite TE like Hernandez or Gates (or Vernon Davis, etc.), I say you do it. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=406706

    Torrey Smith vs. Randall Cobb

Don't trust the projections. They (usually) don't know what they're talking about. I would roll with Randall Cobb this week. Personally, Torrey Smith is too inconsistent of an option for my taste. But forget my preferences. Cobb should see a ton of targets this week against the Bears, especially with Greg Jennings unlikely to play. I think the Bears will be looking to take Jordy Nelson out of the game, and GB's James Jones can be unreliable. So if Jennings does indeed sit out, that leaves Randall Cobb and Jermichael Finley as the primary targets. I think both of them will have big games, and Cobb is always a threat in the return game. Meanwhile, Torrey Smith could be going up against some pretty good corners in Asomugha or Rodgers-Cromartie. I expect the Ravens to run the ball a lot against Philly. Maybe that means the Ravens can sell some play action fakes and get Torrey Smith open deep down field, but you can't really count on that. I would expect at least 10 points from Cobb. With Torrey, it could be 5 or it could be 20. You don't really know each week. So I would seize the opportunity this week where Cobb is likely the #1 target, and roll with him. If you wouldn't mind, can you offer your thoughts on my question? Thanks.

    RB Turner for TE Gates?

Well, who are your tight ends? You have a pretty solid committee of RB's, but Michael Turner for Antonio Gates straight up isn't desirable. Unless you have no real options at TE, I would hold off a little bit, perhaps until Turner has a good game and his stock rises a bit. Could you give your thoughts on mine?

    Manning or Cutler

I think you start Peyton Manning. Denver's got a weak run game, and Falcons have a strong run defense. On the other hand, the Bear's defense relies on Matt Forte, so Cutler should be handing off much more than Peyton. Also, I would think Broncos-Falcons would be more of a shootout, so Peyton should see more opportunity to accumulate more points. Take a look at mine?

trade demarco murray for wes wes welker

Keep Murray. All signs point to him having a big year. Meanwhile, Wes isn't going to reproduce the season he had last year. There are more weapons for the Patriots (Brandon Lloyd, Stevan Ridley, etc.) this season, which means some of the throws Wes would usually see are going elsewhere. Murray is on the rise, Welker is on the decline. No reason to make this trade unless you're loaded at RB and really desperate at WR. Even then, I think you can get a better receiver (ex. Brandon Marshall). Take a look at mine?

    Bradshaw or Decker?

Who do I put in at flex? Normally, I'd start Bradshaw, but I'm worried about Bradshaw facing what looks to be a tough Bucs run defense. Plus, the Broncos-Falcons game promises to involve lots of passing and scoring, which should benefit Decker. I am a bit torn. What do you guys think? Leave a link, I'll answer your questions.

    Ridley

You have to start Ridley this week against the Cardinals. Patriots are, in all likelihood, going to have a solid lead and will be handing off to Ridley a lot to kill clock. I would start him over Steven Jackson, but get him in your lineup somehow (whether as a flex or RB2).

may the odds be ever in MY favor

Hope you see this in time for kickoff. For RB, I'd start Turner. He is the top-tier guy in the group, and it's hard to bench a top-tier guy in the championship. For WR, it's between D. Thomas and Jeremy Maclin. I would be inclined to start Maclin because Philly vs. Dallas promises to be somewhat of a shootout. I don't think you can go wrong with either one though. For Flex, I would take Kevin Smith as the safer play, and LaGarrette Blount as the upside. I think Blount has upside because he faces a bad Carolina run defense. The risk is that if Tampa Bay falls behind early (which they very well might), then they may have to abandon the run somewhat. Hope that helps. Thanks for answering mine. Edit: scratch that. Start Kevin Smith at flex. I just saw Blount's performance last time against he Carolina. He rushed for 19 yards total. He's too risky to play.

Help choosing 1 RB and 1 WR

Hope you see this in time. Take CJ Spiller, Beanie has a very poor matchup. The WR situation is tough. I would take Stevie Johnson and Nate Washington, although I don't like either one. I do think Stevie will get shut down, but so will Nicks and DHB. Really tough pick, so go with your gut feeling. Thanks for answering mine.

    Defense Wins Championships

That's pretty funny. I've been going through the same thing with starting Denver but then rethinking Seattle. In the end, I'm picking Denver, and here's my reasoning: In Week 1, Seattle's D gave up 33 points to the 49ers, but two TD's were on Ted Ginn punt returns, so the defense really gave up a respectable 17 points. What concerned me, though, was that they didn't register a single sack, pick, or fumble. The Seahawks are a much improved team, and they will be playing at home, so I see them scoring around 5-6 points this time around. I just can't get over the fact that they didn't do anything against the 49ers in week 1. To be fair, their defense was good that game. They only gave up 209 total yards of offense to the Niners. But I think that just shows how good the 49ers are at protecting the ball. Even when their offense struggles, they just don't turn it over. I know the Seattle D has been hot in recent weeks, but you could say the same for the Pittsburgh defense before it got gashed by the 49ers last week. Plus, the 49ers do have motivation to play hard this weekend. If they win out, they get a 1st round bye. If they lose and Saints win out, then the Saints get the bye. For all those reasons, I can't recommend starting Seattle's defense. Yet, I still can't completely rule it out. I am starting the Broncos defense because it's an decent all-around matchup. I'm hoping the Broncos run it, control the clock, and limit the Bills offensive opportunities. Bills have nothing to play for, and they've been on a losing streak, while the Broncos D will hopefully come out with some fire after being torched by the Patriots last week. It also doesn't look like good throwing weather in Buffalo, so hopefully Fitzpatrick struggles. I don't expect a defensive TD for Denver, but I do think they'll get around 8-10 points. I'm considered the underdog in my game too, at least by the projections, although I've learned not to trust those any more. I guess if you are a serious underdog, starting the Seahawks D might be worth the risk. I don't think I need big points from my defense, so I'm going with the safer Broncos. But I think the Broncos have some upside as well. There's potential for them to score a lot more (or a lot less). Honestly, I have this feeling that Seattle will do just fine against the 49ers, but I've kind of made up my mind to start Denver, so I'm just going wait till the feeling passes. Anyways, best of luck on your championship as well. Hope that was helpful.

    1,000,000 bucks on the line

Hahaha, genius indeed. I say start Mohamed Massaquoi at flex. What do you have to lose? Your soul?
