Seahawks looking to trade Darrell Jackson...
DankNuggs replied to Fumbleweed's topic in FFToday Board
You are ###### crazy... DJax is an all pro WR... You'd pass him up just to get the second coming of Reggie Williams in a Meachem/Rice? -
Tell me why Larry Johnson should go before Shaun Alexander ?

Does Tank Johnson need to shoot a b1tch? -
Moss is still good and can be productive... Its just the system in place. Peerless Price went from a nobody, to a franchise WR to a nobody all in 2 years. Also a product of the R.Wayne Factor as was brought up earlier
-
Tyrone Calico and Vincent Jackson... LOL Maybe David Boston or Tom Waddle

POLL: Backup RB most likely to take over starting job.

Michael Robinson.... Gore is due to bust an ACL this year -
15 rules changes including a switch to dynasty and IDP is a new league ultimately.... Seems like a communication problem.
-
He was a tough SOB.... Can't thank him enough for what he did for the Pats org. and how gracefully he dealt with the Brady saga.... Moon was black and successful. If he was white, i don't see him getting in.

Alex Smith not getting the credit he deserves.

And you are laughing at guys like Bryant and Lelie, who have huge talent, but haven't been used to their ability. Bryant was a better college WR at Pitt than Fitzgerald was IMO. I think this guy makes a good point. I wouldn't necessarily predict Smith to 'make it rain' next year, but i think he has much more upside than Eli -
Vick has brought his team to the playoffs/brink of playoffs most years he's been in the league. To say he isn't a winner is somewhat foolish.

Would it be the best WR trio since Charles Rogers, Roy Williams, and Mike Williams?
-
Is it just me, or is JaMarcus just the next Byron Leftwich, with a big arm, mush brain, and no ability to show the consistency needed to be a superbowl winning QB? I find it funny that just as the Jaguars figured out that a scrappy guy like Garrard who will tuck it and run rather than make a costly interception, emerges, here comes the next overhyped guy in the draft
-
Mack and Means were both highly successful feature backs who rushed for >1000 yards.... Turner is a hack right now.
-
Has any player been more overhyped than Michael Turner?
DankNuggs replied to MDC's topic in FFToday Board
No one is mentioning Tyrone Calico..... before there was Vincent Jackson, there was Tyrone Calico. -
If zone blocking was the holy grail of blocking techinique, everyone would use it. i think it is more a product of coaching and personnel.
-
He was THE gamebreaker on OSU. While him and Boldin are polar opposites in terms of style of receiver, both were incredibly productive in college, and both will be very productive pros.

I'm not a huge fan of Lynch, and actually not a huge fan of AP in cleveland. CJ is the clear #1 I'm a pats homer, so even if i try to be impartial, I see Maroney being huge this year as a feature back. SJax is a hell of a player, besides AP and CJ, the rookie class is a crapshoot IMO. Tough call.

What is the best way to format a keeper league draft?
DankNuggs replied to Trey5's topic in FFToday Board
THis isn't true. -
Superbowl MVP?
-
Nope, I'd take Maroney and Calvin Johnson over Steven Jackson and some longshot rookie. Dynasty league + Calvin Johnson = win

What is the best way to format a keeper league draft?
DankNuggs replied to Trey5's topic in FFToday Board
Make draft order random, but make teams put in their keepers before draft order is decided. Why? Because where you pick each round created implied value for keepers. i.e. You keep a guy that would be the first pick or so in the third round, if you have the last pick in the third round for the draft, you ultimately get an extra round of 'keeper value' as compared to having the first pick in the third round. We actually draft for the order in which we PICK draft spots. Gives it a little more strategy. If you get pick #1, you can decide where in the draft order you want to be (and can get extra 'keeper value' for the guys you've already slated to keep) -
You have to restart the keeper rule until after season 1 of 14 teams. If its a money league, it has to start on an even playing field for the first draft. This has to be done, or its bogus.

All that hate, and no mention of JP Loserman. You have the worst starting QB i've seen in a long long time. and you bash a guy who faces 8 in the box every play
-
If i were Washington, I'd do that deal in a second (not taking cap/$ in account)

Shart -- Wildman -----------------Fart

He is a LOSER...hopefully for him, he will somehow face the Pats in the superbowl, so the Pats can hand him a SuperBowl, like they handed Peyton one. Biggest shams in the history of sports is that a manning won a SB.
