The tricky part is managing the Yahoo website that I need to manage as we go through the draft and at the end, it will not allow me to have 29 picks for Isotope and 31 for Strombn and since 30.11 is almost Mr. Irrelevant that makes the most sense.

I think this will give 31 picks to Strombn and 29 picks to Isoptope, so you may need to adjust the picks so each of you have 30 picks at the end of the draft. Does that make sense? I entered the trades as you posted it but I think you need to adjust the picks so everyone has 30 selections less their keepers.

Any crazy picks yet? Been sniped by another owner that just took your guy? I was surprised by the lack #1 SPs that were not taken until later in the 2nd round. Lots of guys loading up for bats and speed.

I have set up the Draft Tracking worksheet with all the trades and keepers along with Yahoo website. Please check everything to make sure it is correct and maybe we can get started before Monday if you are ready to go. We can adjust the trades and picks as they are made. Please ask for access to the worksheet and I can grant via an email. I am tracking the requests for access to the Draft Tracking sheet above an once I have all 12 owners access we can start the draft. 9 with Access - 3 more to go.

This includes the missing players, any player whose keeper round moved into round 1-5 at the start of last season and any other player who has used up their 3 keeper years. All of your eligible keepers have had their round value increased by 3 per standard rules. The "Yrs Used" column indicates the amount of years already kept on top of draft year. If this number is 2, this is the final year you can keep the player. Also remember that you do not need to keep 5, that's just the maximum and keeping fewer or none is also an option. The Keeper Value column represents the round of the draft you will need to give up to retain the player. Please declare your keepers in this thread and be sure to mark them as tentative or final. The deadline for keeper declaration will be this Thursday, 2/27 before 11:59pm. I will then enter declared keepers to the tracker sheet and get that online over the weekend. If you have not finalized keepers by that time, your tentative list will be used. If more than 5 are on the tentative list, the first 5 will be used. If no keeper list has been defined, no-one will be kept. You CAN now trade excess keepers for simple pre-draft pick swaps (also until this Fri). Use the other thread I set up to define your trade bait/untouchables or to state your needs if looking for keepers. "I'll give you John Smith and my 20th for your 15th" kind of stuff only through Friday. Save anything that doesn't involve trading an excess keeper candidate until later. Do NOT post trades for players you plan to keep or for draft spot positioning yet! I will reject them out of hand. I will open things up for positioning trades as soon as the initial draft tracker sheet is online and it is easier to see where declared keepers lie within rounds. PLEASE HOLD OFF ON POSTING NON-KEEPER SPECIFIC TRADES UNTIL AFTER KEEPERS ARE FINALIZED !!

Four owners have not listed their keepers for the upcoming season. Please do so over the next day and a half as the deadline is tomorrow at Midnight. Surprised there hasn't been much trade activity yet, but we still have time before the Draft worksheet will be completed (thanks to Posty). Please keep these deadlines in mind so we can start the draft on Monday morning. Almost time!

Draft Order has been set. Next point of order is to determine when to start the draft. LA and Chicago have two games in Toyko on 3/18 and 3/20 so we should try and get things started around the beginning of March so we can finish and I can load up the rosters for teams that will want to start their Dodgers or Cubs players for the first week of the season. Does March 1st work for everyone? Any discussion needed to start earlier or later?
