  1. I don't think I've really paid attention to it since the early '90s. The only college basketball player I could name right now is that chick from Iowa. What's her name again?
  2. I went with Ford. He didn't get any votes to be President, so I might as well give him one.

    Skin care for men.

I never considered sunscreen as "skin care", it's just a necessity when I go to the beach or if I'm working outside or hanging around the pool in the summer. Other than that, my hands get extremely dry and cracked this time of year, and I use whatever hand cream I have handy. In fact, I just used some CeraVe healing ointment about 10 minutes ago.

Scott Mitchell is Tired of Being a Scapegoat

Scott Mitchell was my first fantasy draft pick ever, in 1996, after his one good season in 1995. The guy right after me picked Brett Favre

    Recommend a beer

It's only available in the Northeast, but Second Fiddle, a double IPA from Fiddlehead Brewing, is great. In my local store I'll see 4-packs of 16oz Second Fiddle cans for typical craft beer price of $16. Then occasionally, right next to that will be 12-packs of 12oz cans for $18, same price as Sam Adams or Corona. Gee, let me think...64oz for 16 bucks, or 144oz for 2 bucks more....
  9. Unfortunately, it won't matter in November. The state will be forever Blue.

Do you have or want a “Trad” Wife?

I read the thread title as "Tard wife". I wasn't sure how to answer that

At what age do you plan to retire/have already retired?

At 62 and 4 months, I'll have enough age and years of service to retire from my company and get the health insurance subsidy. I figure I'll round it up to 63, plus that way, I'll get one more yearly bonus. That's a little over 3 years from now. I'd probably still work part time to delay taking SS, but I'll be done with my professional career (I hope )

Give it time...seafoam hasn't chimed in yet As for me, the day I turn 63 is when I plan to retire
  13. Yeah, that's true. But, I don't think anyone here is new to the internet.

The Final Play Of Every World Series (1990–2023)

I stopped at 2004. At that point, I saw the 4 I care about. Did anyone notice the asterisk for 2017?
  15. Good thing you explained the meaning of the term "butterface", or we would've been completely lost.

Ever go to the movies by yoursef?

Better question: Have you ever gone to a movie where you were the only person in the theater? In May 2003, I was on a business trip where I had some company training that was on 2nd shift. To occupy myself during the day, I went to a movie theater that was in walking distance of my hotel. In 3 consecutive days, I saw: The Matrix #3 - theater was about half full. The movie was meh. I never got into the Matrix thing Identity - a handful of patrons in the theater. The movie was pretty good. John Cusack and Ray Liotta were in it..suspenseful. Holes - not what you think, you sick focks. Shia Lebouf and a bunch of other juvenile deliquents have to dig holes in the desert to find a buried treasure for Jon Voight and Sigourney Weaver. I was literally the only person in the theater. I left to take leak halfway thru the movie, and I was half surprised they kept the movie going when I got back to my seat.

Idaho Approves Death Penalty For Pedos

I don't know...while I despise liberals just as much as the next sane adult, I wouldn't put pedos to death unless they killed their victim. I don't have an issue of the constitutionality of death sentence for pedos, but if I were a state legislator, I think I'd vote against it. What's to stop the pedo from murdering his victim just because he figures "I'm gonna get the death penalty anyway, I might as well kill the witness and maybe get away with it"?
