Yeah, in Scotland in 1988, just for a few days. Very weird feeling at first, but I got used to it quickly enough. Rotaries really threw me, and there are alot of them in the UK. I couldn't imagine driving one here on the right side of the road. I would have thought it wouldn't even be legal.

How long till an NFL ref is attacked by a player for a terrible call
Thornton Melon replied to kilroy69's topic in FFToday Board
I can't think of anything worse a player could do to jeopardize his earning potential than attacking a ref. I'm sure that's in the back of every players' minds. -

The 1st of "many"? I bet they don't win more than 4 while Tiger's kid is on the team. -

Is It Me ? (Game Shows With Trivia Questions)

That actually wasn't Celebrity Jeopardy. That was the Second Chance tournament, where the contestants were all previous Jeopardy champions. Those 3 contestants were all good enough to win at least one Jeopardy game at some point. Yeah, I'm not a fan either, but everyone knows who Garth Brooks is -

@BeenHereBefore For the umbilical hernia, I had zero symptoms. No pain at all, no lump, nothing. It was shown on a CT scan I had for something else almost 4 years ago. I forgot I even had it. I just happened to look at the old scan, and the reason I was having it fixed now was due to an inguinal hernia on my right side. During my consult, I mentioned the umbilical hernia to the surgeon. He said it was nice for him that I had it, since he could use that hole for the laproscopic instruments, then he would sew it up at the end of the operation. A friend of mine has a big lump near his navel that he hasn't gotten looked at yet. I said "You've got a friggin umbilical hernia. Get it looked at, you putz". -

I'm pretty sure you mentioned your dad could be an ornery old coot at times. If so, I'm sure that made him more interesting. Sorry for your loss, ed.

Bill Belichick is a Facade. Not a good coach!
Thornton Melon replied to justforbeer's topic in FFToday Board
It doesn't...I've posted this here a few years ago, but from 2009-2019, the Dolphins, Jets and Bills had the 2nd best winning percentage in non-division games compared to the #2, 3 & 4 teams in the other NFL divisions. -

Ex-NHL player Adam Johnson dies after reportedly suffering neck injury during game

Yeah, it looks almost intentional there, or at least like the guy could have avoided doing it. -

This was always in the back of my mind when my sons played hockey. I would always buy them neck guards, whether they wore them was another story Only one coach in all the years my sons played required his team to wear neck guards. Not that they're perfect, but I'd like to think they'd reduce the risk. -
I never liked Scooby-Doo as a kid. Don't know why, it just annoyed me. My brother would watch it, and I'd just leave the room.

I was hoping he would get caught by some locals and tortured.

Oh, good. I've been out of it most of today, I had hernia surgery. I just went back and saw the BOLO story was 7 hours old. Thanks

That's how I understand it. Nothing I've seen says you can't do it on regular plays from scrimmage.
