    Really worries about Gordon

This article here was the only reason I drafted Gordon. Glad whatever he learned stuck with him. http://www.espn.com/blog/san-diego-chargers/post/_/id/16710/chargers-rb-melvin-gordon-learns-persistence-from-adrian-peterson

Could we have an fftoday league?

The only problem I could see with this is inactives. Once you get that many people involved, there's bound to be some that slack off or quit. That could be remedied by making partner teams, but that kinda sucks trying to make 2-person decisions. Other than that, it sounds fun. I don't post a whole lot, just read and absorb, but I'd definitely be down for something like that.

Cowboys extend Romo for 6 years, $108 million

Damn, I graduated from the same college as that dude. Way to take the Boys to the cleaners Romo! Seems like the cool thing for QBs to do nowadays. But hey, if they're paying out, who am I to say what's greed and what's getting your due. On a separate thought chain, I wonder if colleges put numbers like that into their "our students average $xxx/yr after they graduate".

Reggie Bush offered starting role in Det.

agreed, this is PPR gold if he can stay healthy. Not sure if the turf in det will effect him like it did in New Orleans. If I remember correctly, he was having knee problems on the turf down there. Could be an excuse though, we'll see.
  5. He's 28 years old, so he's still got a couple left in the tank. Does he take the offer at detroit or does he go to the cards or bengals? I hope he goes to the lions or bengals from a fantasy perspective, but the Lions do seems like a pretty good fit. Bush is an excellent pass catcher and that seems to be the Lions MO. He's playing it smart and not "rushing" into anything, which is a good sign that he wants to go the offense that will utilize him as much as possible. That's great for fantasy as well as himself. I just hope he doesn't end up going to the Cards. God knows the NFC west doesn't need anymore F0cking weapons right now. Report

    Anquan Boldin Traded

Looks like the Rams just locked up Jared Cook. If they get jennings after amendola mostt likely leaves, I'll cry every time the bears play an NFC west team thats not from arizona.

    my ff te list

wow, how did I not hear about Miller's ACL? I had the guy on my roster last year! When did that happen?

    my ff te list

I'd have olsen at least in the pitta/rudolph range. He and Cam really started clicking in the second half of the season. That and I think miller is a bit low.

Most signifigant accomplishment in NFL history

Marino-poor guy never got a ring either. ADP- Shredded ACLs are never easy to come back from. Plus, the dude had a hernia for half the season and powered through it. The guy is a monster Rice-pick one.

    Harvin Traded to Seattle

Harvin finally got the trade he's been asking for for a month. Vikes get 2013 1st and 7th round picks as well as a mid round 2014 pick. Sure hope the hawks can sign him or they're up a creek. NFC west looks like its in a "arms race" right now with boldin and harvin going to SF and Hawks. Exciting to see teams trading so much. This definitely gives harvin a bump in fantasy value seeing as wilson is 10x better than ponder and the hawks don't have much of a WR corp before the trade. But, what about Boldin? He wasn't the greatest last year. It's a definite boost for the team, I'm just wondering fantasy-wise how this effects boldins ADP.

This guy says he will out rush AP in 2013..

Loving the insight guys! A tip like this could very well make or break a season.
  12. what you said is true, but it's not unreasonable to say that Flacco gouged the Ravens pretty darn bad. I agree that he's a capable QB, but 20mil/year is too much for anyone. That being said, the Ravens didn't really have any choice but to pay the man, so they're going to be stuck with cap issues for a bit. I'm mostly not understanding why he didn't take 15 or so a year like many other super bowl winning QBs. I realize that yeah, you go out and get the most you can, but don't harm your team in doing so. In his shoes, i'd take less and let them keep boldin or some other key asset that ensured victory this year.
  13. I feel bad for the Raven's front office. This is an absolute perfect storm for them. Contract year QB denies extension to try to get more money, they all laugh quietly to themselves thinking he'll be back to take the same or less come February. He's thinking with the lack of quality QBs in the next draft that they'll be begging him to stay after the season. After a miraculous hail mary in the Denver game and an absolutely terrific super bowl game for him stat-wise, they're bashing their heads against a wall knowing that he has got them by the proverbial and quite literal balls, significantly denting their all to precious cap-room for years to come. I have nothing against the ravens. I actually rooted for them in the 01 game against the giants. But, i'd rather take matt flynn or hell, even matt cassel than pay him that much money. 1/6 of the entire salary cap is way too damn much. Honestly, good luck next season ravens fans. I hope you get what you paid for and not a cj2k type of situation.

My first thought when I read the title was, "damn, titus young just doesn't know when to quit". But CJ makes more sense.

    Brady signs extension

13mil/year, huh? and welker wants 10+? how does he rationalize that? Or, why can't he suck it up and "settle" for 10/yr. If i'm not mistaken, the pats already offered him a substantial extension, correct? Anyway, that deal brady signed practically guarantees 4 more years of Patriot playoff berths. Smart move, brady/pats.
