  1. nothing added to yahoo [the premiere fantasy service]

As I expected. Yahoo is garbage. What Im reading is unacceptable about yahoo. Hacked or not, they need a backup plan, no excuses now a days when it comes to fantasy football. This is a real time activity/game and it needs to be treated as such. I can only speak for the services Ive dealt with and ESPN never has these clown-car issues.

  2. This is copied from my earlier post. Thanks for any insight you might be able to provide

With Aaron Hernandez out my week 10 lineup comes off the tracks. I have very little wiggle room so Im considering not dropping anyone to replace my worthless TE, for this week at least. There really isn't much left to choose from.

Available TEs: Joel Dreessen Den TE, Martellus Bennett NYG TE, Kyle Rudolph Min TE

Minimal upside on these 3, at best.

Dreessen is Mannings No.1 TE for whatever thats worth with a middle of the road matchup this week.

Bennett has been highly disappointing the last 6 weeks outside of 1 game in week 7 vs washington where he got 7.9 points, but has a great matchup this week if that even matters.

Rudolph has been downright brutal the last 3 weeks, but with Harvin out and a good matchup against the lions this week at home could he be startable? Ponder has been awful lately too.

In order to even make this transaction I would have to start Titus Young Det WR instead of and drop Marcel Reece Oak RB.

Also out this week on my roster: McFadden, Harvin, Mendenhall and RG3 on a bye.

For what its worth ESPN has me projected as a +7.2 underdog [107.8 to 115]. Anyone have any insight on this conundrum?

  3. I would start T. Smith. The ravens play great at home plus adding in the ppr format he should be a nice play this week. Thomas has been regressing over the last 3 weeks, something I dont like when deciding between 2 players.

  4. Its a coin flip on the QBs. Cam is streaking and Eli is regressing. Im partial to Cam since hes on my team, but I can see Eli having a good game with that nice matchup.

V.D. is due for a big game, i think it comes this week in what should be a good nfc west division matchup.

  5. Very tough spot your in this week. I also have been hearing Ingram is the next barry sanders LOL j/k. That could be just smoke and mirrors saying hes going to be more involved. Hes not the same player sproles is, but he did have some talent at one point, cant remember when that was though... And what you have left I would start the RB [thomas] over the TE. Nothing fancy, just like starting a rb over an inconsistent TE at best.

  6. I would do the trade. Martins value the rest of the way is higher than the salsa-man imo. When Nicks is fully healthy he will take points away from cruz. Plus i love the idea of having a stud rb in my flex spot.

  7. All 3 of your players have tough matchups. With that being said I would consider benching Andre Johnson as he has the worst matchup and out of the bunch and his QB Matt Schaub has the worst matchup when it comes to QBs this week. The bears have been stellar this season against Qbs. The ravens play great at home and Steve Smith is starting to streak.

  8. In your case I would start Locker. His matchup overwrites Cutlers home primetime status.

Start Nicks, that big game were all hoping for could/should/might LOL come this week. The "Garbage Man" cant be trusted, not that Nicks can. I just cant see all of the sudden KC playing good, on the road, in Pittsburgh.

  9. I like Tannehill @ QB1 with his NICE matchup and Cutler as your QB2/FLEX. Reason I picked Cutler, its a home primetime game, he and marshall should play nicely, even against that tough houston D. Im know Im stepping out on the ledge with this one. Sometimes the matchup that makes the least sense produces the best results. I dont like A.Smith at all, never have never will.

I dont trust fragile felix in my lineup, if you do feel free to start him, but I wouldnt. I dont buy that playing against new england means bench your talented rbs because they might be playing from behind.

  10. Its between Spiller and Decker. Both have equally tough matchups. I might catch heat for this but I say bench Decker. Will the bills be playing from behind, probably, but that doesnt mean he wont break a big one or be the focal point in mounting a possible comback.

  11. Its a tossup between Charles and Nicks who are Both due for big games after stinking it up lately. Im going Nicks who has the better matchup, which means Charles will probably blow up because everyone who owns him will have him on their bench. If Amendola was healthy I wouldve picked him.

Hell yeah that felt good!!!! I LOVE this thread!!!!

Im sure ill be back before the end of week 10, ive got a few other turds im sure will stink it up tomorrow: Nicks,J.Stewart,Reece or T.Young.

  14. What is his stat line?

    On MFL and Yahoo.

    247 and 2

    22 rush

    1 fumble lost

Its the same stat line on ESPN and NFL.com. TDs are worth 6 points and we have a fractional system to prevent ties. The point total is off, ESPN has his week 9 total as 22.1 and NFL.com as 22.08. Someone is still wrong?

  15. One of the owners in my league asked why his record changed from 6-3 to 5-4. He appeared to have won his game but when he checked back on Friday [today] the score for last weeks game had changed to 162.7 to 162 in his opponents favor.

I looked at the stat correction area on ESPN and didnt see any changes for any of the players on either team. So I called ESPN customer support [one of the reasons why espn is the premier fantasy service] and they looked at the teams in question and told me he thinks he knows what the issue is since hes talked to 5 other people today with similar stories. Josh Freemans stats were corrected on Thursday night by adding less than 1 point. I was also informed Elias Sports Bureau is responsible for gathering stats for fantasy football and they have till Thursday night at the very latest to correct stats for the previous week.

Did anyone else have a Josh Freeman stat correction for Week 9? His fantasy points on ESPN.com are now 22.1. On NFL.com using the exact same scoring settings his fantasy points are 22.08.

  16. D.Brown and M.Bush have more value for the remainder of the season than Ingram currently does or ever will. I dont trust him even with Sproles out. Ingram isnt the same kind of player either. Cant expect him to produce the same way. D.Brown is getting healthy and M.Bush is 1 Forte injury away from being a top 15 back.
