If you are truly interested in adopting, call your county’s CPS office, it’s free to adopt through the CPS agency, now you must get licensed, and bio parents still get to improve their lives and reconciliation with their children, and nothing is better than when that indeed takes place, but if the parents cannot reconciliation, and other family members want the children, as the children’s foster family you will be asked if you would be interested, if you say no, then CPS will find a family that would be interested, and then the children will move in with them, but if you answer yes, it takes about 3 months, at no cost. Adoption agencies can charge a lot of money, but want I cannot understand is why some will pay that, when you can serve your local community by becoming a foster parents, and then adopt for no cost.
