Keep fighting to the end. Never give up. Play the waiver wire. Explore trades. Do whatever even if its the final week and I am eliminated. Thats a trait of many successful athletes and others in life. Never give up and do your best at all times.

Campbell actually looked pretty good. He would have easily had 300 yards, but got hurt by 2 bad drops by Bess, including on their last 4th down play. I feel much better now with Campbell at QB rather than Weeden whose accuracy was pitiful. I'm seeing Gordon from here on as a Must Start almost every week.

Peyton Manning/denver broncos teams bye week starts
5Year1 replied to Crackninja's topic in FFToday Board
I have Peyton in 2 leagues, but there are no other Broncos. They are 2 QB leagues. Rivers is replacing him on one and the other is in a rathole because Vick was my back up. I have a waiver claim for Case Keenum as the best available QB left. The good news is Romo is still the other QB. This a team which had Moreno and Julius as well as Bush, Blackmon and Shorts on byes. I do have Percy Harvin on the bench, so if he plays I may start him in a flex. This is the line up right now: QB: Rodgers and Romo RBs: Sproles, and L Bell WRs; A Johnson and Nelson TE; Cameron Flexes: P Thomas, A Brown, Gordon and K Allen OP: Russell Wilson My opponent has both Peyton and Eli who are on byes. My best guess as to who he will start: QB:RGIII and Ponder unless he goes to the waiver wire. RBs: Foster, Spiller WRs: Dez and Edelman TE: Graham Flexes: CJ2K, S Rice, Amendola, Garcon OP: Either waiver wire or L Miller or Britt He's got some studs, but also many weak players, so I like my chances. -
His value is definitely dropping, but he is still a good WR2 if you have a Nelson, Marshall, Mega, Green, Dez, Cruz, D Thomas or Welker as a #1.
-
I'm bullish on Locker as a back up QB. I have a waiver claim out for him to replace Ben R.

I am an active owner in all of my leagues, especially on the waiver wire. This is my best team so far and how it has changed since Week 1. Among RBs,WRs and TEs, only Bush, Sproles, Garcon and Shorts are left from the draft. Starters in bold. PPR, start QB,QB,RB,RB,WR,WR,TE, OP(usually a QB), K, D/ST Week 1: Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, Tony Romo, Cam Newton, Russell Wilson, MJD, R Bush, Sproles, Deangelo Williams, Cobb, Garcon,Shorts, Hilton, M Williams, Thompkins, Cook, Dawson(k), Cincy D/ST Week 9 likely starters in bold; Peyton Manning(bye), Matt Ryan, Tony Romo, Philip Rivers, Lacy, Mathews, Bush(bye), Sproles, Steven Jackson, Garcon*, Gordon, Shorts(bye), Blackmon(bye), Marvin Jones*, Cameron, J Thomas(bye), Haushcka(k), KC D/ST * still debating whether to start Jones or Garcon this week

6-0 PPR 2 QB league: Romo Peyton Ryan R Wilson R Bush J Bell Sproles D Williams Gordon Cobb( holding him in case he comes back during FF playoffs) Garçon Shorts Blackmon J Thomas Cameron Cinn D Novak K S Jax ( picked him up on waivers this week as better upside if he returns over MJD).

I'm playing them the rest of the year. No streaming.

You stole!!! Good man!!!!

Would you start multiple people from the same team?
5Year1 replied to Hotbbq's topic in FFToday Board
I have Rodgers, Cobb and Nelson on one team, Shorts and Blackmon on another, Manning, D Thomas and waiver pick up Moreno on another and Manning and J Thomas on another. I draft and pick up the best available players and don't worry about team concentrations. And BTW, the Cobb team was covered by his injury because I already had Marshall and Gordon to go with Nelson and had Blackmon on the bench. -
Someone this week offered me CJ in a trade. This^^^. Upcoming 3 weeks he is useless and he has several more tough run Ds later on including the Fantasy Playoffs. I would only give next to nothing for him.
-
Graham, AP, McCoy, Charles, one of the big 3 QBs and maybe Dez. If Gronk and Cameron show something for another few of weeks, they could enter the mix. Other than that, don't talk to me.
-
Would be surprised if Blackmon was out there, but if so, get him. I think Terrance Williams is the next best pick up for the reasons p.man said.
-
There would have to be a STRONG case for starting a QB over Rodgers and I don't think it is erratic Jay Cutler playing on Thursday night nevertheless. The only time I could see benching Rodgers ( and also Brees and Peyton) for someone else may be if he was playing in Seattle( and after last week, maybe Cincy) and there had better be a more consistent back up with a very good matchup.
-
I personally would give little for Powell now that Goodson is back and as a Mereno owner, do NOT consider him a Top 10, and barely a Top 20 RB. There is still a RBBC in Denver and you cannot figure out week to week how much he is going to be used and where. Without that reliability, he is not a Put Him In, Start Him and Forget About It back like the stars and lower top 10 players like Bush. Look at weeks one and three.

Eli Manning dropped in my league, thoughts going forward?
5Year1 replied to Texas10's topic in FFToday Board
I would never drop Pryor for Eli. -
5-0 2 QB league plus an OP where I also play a QB: Starters week 6: Peyton Romo Cutler Bush D Williams Cobb Garcon J Thomas Cincy D Hartley( will stream kickers as needed) Bench: Ryan R Wilson Sproles MJD Shorts J Bell Cameron Terrance Williams ( just picked up to replace Ryan Broyles and before that Tavon Austin).
-
Perfectedly legit. Lock goes on at kick off of his game and that was not until Monday night.
-
For those of you that have enjoyed Powell as a starting RB, this should be his last game
5Year1 replied to snatchit's topic in FFToday Board
And he has the confidence of the players playing around him, which Sanchez lost a long time ago. -
Hilarious!
-
Garbage time could make this a dangerous game to take the points. They could pull the starters at 42-14/35-7 in third quarter and then Henne, Shorts and Blackmon could clean up in a 42-21 or 42-28 final.
-
Picked him up today in a 2 QB league to replace Hoyer but with Peyton and Romo, he is probably only a bye week replacement or late season trade bait.
-
He has been erratic all of his career and now with a great coach in Reid, he's still doing nothing. Just like Mathews, I think he has had enough chances and should be avoided.
-
I dropped him on 2 teams and kept him on 1 as a bench WR4. With 3 other good WRs, I don't need him to play but can afford to take a wait and see.
-
That is exactly it and this is the money trail that DSausage is talking about. Oh...related note. I saw on Facebook that next Sunday is No Bra Sunday to "raise awareness" of breast cancer. Do you think any of the TV announcers will mention this and will the league allow any of the cheerleaders to go bra less???? I doubt it...
