    AJ for Vereen

Sorry, AJ could have NO toe at all and I would still take him over Vereen. AJ could be recovering from a shark attack, and still > Vereen. AJ could be forced to play in his socks due to a toe problem, and I would still take him. If AJ was DEAD, and they had to ROLL HIM ONTO THE FIELD on a gurney... okay, then I would take Vereen.
  2. The dummy team seems the right move to me. It's not really fair to the other owners to let someone buy into the league nearly half-way through the season with a team in 2nd place. That gives them much better odds to their investment than you all got this season.
  3. I love the blind bid system, do that.

Why are there no Storm Johnson threads?

Given that I couldn't find anyone on the wire named Thunder or Lightning, Storm seems to be a good choice. Still a poor-man's Blizzard though. In dynasty he's probably worth something, assuming Bortles develops well and they improve their o-line in the off season. In redraft, I wouldn't waste the space.
  5. Two start decisions: McCoy vs NYG, or Andre Williams vs Philly I can't believe I'm actually asking that. And even more, I'm leaning Williams. Roddy vs OBJ This one is more of a gamble. I like OBJ a lot more, but one impressive rookie debut does not a career make. But at the same time Roddy only had 4 targets last week.

McCoy vs Williams, Roddy vs OBJ

I don't know, how did GW Bush say it? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice.... can't, uh, can't get fooled again. Fool me four times in a #$*& row and you must be LeSean McCoy?

    Trade Dez?!?!

Those are awful trades. If you want to move Dez for an RB, you need to look for a deal for Gio+, or Ellington+, or maybe straight-up for LBell if the other guy needs a WR and has RBs to burn. Even Tate, Tate AND Decker would be a bad deal for Dez.

Do I dare start Glennon over Ryan?

You basically called that one exactly. Nice.

    Blue, Gerhart or Evans

Need to fill a flex spot due to bye weeks, it's a .5 PPR dynasty league. Bit of a gamble no matter who I choose, so looking for more thoughts on the matter. Blue obviously is a contender only if Foster sits, but Buffalo has a decent run D and Blue has all of one game under his belt... on the other hand he could get a ton of touches in that offense. Gerhart has been struggling, though a lot of it could be because of his O-line if you're feeling generous. Bortles may be able to spread things more and give him some room? Hard to trust him though before seeing it happen. Evans is good but TB was awful last week. Maybe Glennon being in will improve things?
  10. I wouldn't bother with Royal after one decent day, unless you have bench space to burn. Of the other two I generally like J Bell better, but if you're playing the matchup Asiata is definitely the way to go.

Give Foles & DBrown and get Brees & Hyde?

He's actually not as decimated at RB as it seems. Last week Gerhart had gained 49 of his 50 yards after contact. Now that Bortles is in, there's a chance to spread the field a little more and open up some space. Miller has the backfield while Moreno is out (a few more weeks) and his chance to earn his way back into at least a time share, given that he looked decent last week. And Hyde is running behind a 31 year old. That said, if he wants D Brown enough to make that trade, I would do it.

    Bortles or Bridgewater (waiver wire)

I like Bortles better, but not by a lot. I actually had both on my bench for a little while and had to pick which to drop.

    * Check Out This Trade Proposal *

No way, bad deal. For starters, Garcon turned into a monster with Cousins at the helm, so you should probably wait to see if that keeps up. Secondly, I think it's valid to consider selling a little low on Lacy after the first three weeks, but unless you get an offer of a solid RB, I would stand pat and hope he picks it up this week against an easier D.

Doug Martin for Sproles Leave your Link

I think Martin for Sproles is a good move. Risky, but could pay off. And I tend to be very down on Martin, but Sproles is old, competing with McCoy for touches (he got 2 last week), and also old. Even if Martin comes back and puts up RB2 numbers while giving up some touches to Rainey, I bet he still outperforms Sproles on average for the remainder of the year.

    Who to drop for Brady?

I like Blount as a matchup-play, if you have the space. But Hyde has a ton of upside later in the season behind Gore. And while I'm not at all excited about Brady, I suppose you do need someone to play backup. He would do. Normally I would say wait, but apparently there's a legit concern that everyone is taking all the QBs, so go for it.

    Bye Week HELL

If you can make room I do like Robinson. It's risky, so I wouldn't hang your hat on it, but with Bortles taking over it could pay off. I don't think you're desperate this week; the situation you've outlined is tolerable. Everyone has their best players on a bye week once a season. Also agree with the West trade, if you can find someone buying.

    Cobb/Paul or Wallace/Ertz WHIR

You can't rely just on Paul as your TE with Rudolph out. When Reed is healthy, he'll be in. So over the course of the season, it's effectively Cobb+waiver wire TE or Ertz + Wallace. I go with Ertz + Wallace there.

Dez or D. Thomas rest of way

Crap shoot. They're both top-flight WRs, along with Calvin, AJ and Julio, that aren't matched by anyone over the long haul.

CJ Spiller for Sproles? Leave your Link

Unfortunately the time to move on Sproles was last week, after two monster games. Now he's trying to buy low on him after a bad week. I guess this seems like a wash to me. Either ride Sproles a little longer to see if he returns to form, or trade for a more mundane but probably more consistent Spiller.

trade help mccoy, marshall and gronk

No way. McCoy has been off to a slow start, but is one of the best RBs in the league. Marshall is great, but aging and struggling with injuries. Gronk is also great, but frequently injured. But neither of them are as relatively great at their position as McCoy is at his. If you're considering trading McCoy there needs to be a "top-3 at their position" guy on the board.
  21. Cousins is a bit of an upgrade at QB, but also with a bigger downside as a relative unknown who has put up a few good games. DT has struggled relative to his ADP, but that probably won't last, so should be a moderate upgrade over Cooks. Huge, huge downgrade at RB. Massive. Kills the deal as far as I'm concerned.

Blockbuster Trade - WHIR - Standard

I'm a big AJ fan, and have him in two out of three leagues this year (and got burned in week 2 because of it), but definitely JC/Davis side wins here.

    TRADE FOR JIMMY GRAHAM

Unless the guy is a chump, you're not getting your hands on Graham unless you put AJ on the table, or maaaaybe JC if the injury didn't scare him off.
  24. The good: Julio in 2 The bad: Gerhart in 3 Honorable mention: Dobson in 13, since the next pick went Knile Davis.
