Meyer gave up a lot of control this year. Him leaving shouldn't lead to a massive drop off from this year. When Harbaugh arrived I was worried, but he's been outcoached against top teams. His offense is bland, defense struggles to game plan and his coaching staff as a whole tends to struggle with in game adjustments. They beat up bad teams, but struggle against top end teams because of those reasons. This has been his worst tenure of his coaching stints.

As an Ohio State fan I am strongly against this.

I'll stick with my opinion that Foles is one of 20-25 QBs that with the right coach can be a successful starting QB. He's not good enough to overcome bad coaching and still win, but there are only a handful that can. Not sure if that makes him over or underrated, but take away his year under Fisher and he has pretty decent numbers.

I traded Hunt for Brown early in the year. In another I landed D. Johnson for Chubb as the main pieces in the exchange. I also landed Baldwin at the deadline for pennies. If I don't trade Chubb for Johnson I lose in the second round, and obviously Brown will be a big reason why I win this week assuming a minor miracle doesn't happen for my opponent tonight. I went against Wilson last night and Baldwin kept him from cutting into my lead too much.

QBs are so much a product of the coaches. With a good coach, Foles is very capable as a starter. He's not talented enough to win with bad coaching, but there are only a few QBs that are.

Up 40 going against Hamilton in standard. In my other league I'm up 37 against Martin.

Chiefs at Seahawks: In-Game Discussion
Brutal Brutus replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
We're all used to NE playing bad early, getting it together and taking home field. However, I'm not sure this year they've gotten it together. That team still doesn't look right, and is just beating up on a bad division. They may get home field this year, but the road teams look to have a lot better shot at beating them. -
Just couldn't pull the trigger on putting CJ in my lineup. Doesn't look like it will cost me though. I was playing the Gurley owner so if nothing else I kept him from using CJ.

Had a good lead going into tonight, started Baldwin vs his Wilson. Only made up a handful of points. Cancel out theory at it's finest. -

He's tied for 8th in sacks. Seattle gets plenty of coverage. -

I'm not watching but Williams is averaging over 8 yards a carry. Is that really the chiefs problem right now? -

Zuerlein. Rams D. Samuels. Brown. -
Yeah I've done that before. Drop the handcuffs and WR4 for an extra QB or two just case.

1st Year Points Only League: Liking It…..Your Thoughts ?
Brutal Brutus replied to easilyscan's topic in FFToday Board
I'm sure some people like total points but I find it too boring week to week. I enjoy having specific players to dislike every week. I like my league that rewards a win for h2h and top half of scoring teams for that week. -

I don't believe pot makes someone lack ambition, but those lacking ambition certainly seem to be drawn to it. I don't mean to imply all who use pot lack ambition, but lacking ambition may increase the likey hood of one using pot. I'm fine with those using it in a responsible way, similar to alcohol use. -
I'm trying to figure out how team A made it.

The Todd Gurley Category 5 Defcon 1 truly nightmare scenario
Brutal Brutus replied to FantasyRetard's topic in FFToday Board
Something along the lines of "it's just inflammation he should be fine for Sunday. No one is a 100% right now." If they weren't playing the worst team in the league, maybe they'd push him a bit. I expect him to play and get pulled after they establish a 2-3 possession lead in the first quarter. If you haven't watched the Cardinals this month, they are truly awful in every aspect of this sport. -

I don't think the Rams feel the same way. Every statement they have made is that they will proceed with caution. -
Looking Ahead To Redrafts 2019: First Four Rounds: 1/15 Update...
Brutal Brutus replied to Fumbleweed's topic in FFToday Board
For every draft strategy there are people who will win leagues with it and people who will get burned by it and swear it off. To me, it's just real easy to find a starting QB in late rounds or even after the draft in the majority of leagues. In one league I landed Rivers in the last round and Matt Ryan after the first week. In another Wilson "fell" to me in the middle rounds and I still ended up using a waiver find in Trubisky over him for a lot of weeks. The problem with taking a QB early is that you are more likely to end up relying on mid round guys like, Davis, & Crowell because you missed out on a top end option. Every strategy can work and will work if you draft the right guys, but I like the chances of finding a RB/WR1 in the early rounds and a QB1 in the late rounds, vs finding a QB1 in the early rounds and a consistently reliable RB/WR in the mid rounds. -

Not too bad. I think Ertz goes in round 2. Fournette is a late 2 early 3 at best for me. Way too many QBs. DJ is a round 2 pick but could move around based on coaching and roster decisions . -
Thanks for answering. I meant Josh Adams, but that's my fault for not being specific enough. Ironically, I also have Davante but he's not going anywhere.

The last time these teams played the Cardinals didn't cross mid field until their last drive. This Cardinals team is worse than that one.
