N.Y. Jets at Buffalo: In-Game Discussion
Brutal Brutus replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
Dropping the Eagles for the jets looks like a terrible decision right now. -
Giants Offense a must start this week vs. New Orleans
Brutal Brutus replied to Dragan187's topic in FFToday Board
I think you're digging too deep. Brees is worse on the road, but his defense is horrendous. NO is going to be in shoot outs all year long. Start your Saints and start whoever is playing the Saints. -
Not a chance I would do that. A top RB has more value than a top QB, and you're giving up the better draft pick. Using your RB depth to upgrade at WR is more of a need for you than QB.
-
Gordon would have to return to his prime self in order for him to make a difference on your roster, even then it's probably only a slight difference. Stewart makes a difference right away. Do it.

Any of these WW drops worthy of me grabbing? WHIR

I'd stand with the guys you have. Jones is similar to Blount . A plug and play that you hope falls into the end zone. Its close but I want the guy on the Patriots not the Redskins. Jones could turn into a top 15 guy as could freeman/coleman if one goes down. Brown is going to be up and down all year. -
Henry's value depends on game flow and if he can fall in the end zone. I see this week being a shoutout, and Murray is the clear bell cow and passing down back as of now. The only way I see Henry moderatly improving his fantasy numbers this week is if he can get a score. I think he's a flex flier if you're desperate.
-
I think you're too high on him. There are a lot of options at QB and in standard formats he finished with only 15 points, good for 16th overall. His weapons are below par compared to other NFL teams, and he's on a run first team. No reason to be ecstatic about this guy yet.
-
I'd do it. He isn't a massive upgrade, but I'd rather be deep at RB than QB.
-
Yes, unless you think you can get better. QB value can fluctuate league by league more so than other positions.
-
Cooks gets a big bump, yet very little love for Snead. Not saying he should be a WR1, but after last week he should be in the conversation as a WR2 not low end WR3.
-
I think you're losing too much in the Coleman/Michael part and not gaining enough of an upgrade at WR to make it worthwhile. Coleman has a good shot being your RB2, and Hyde has an injury history. That could leave you with Forsett and Jones as your only options at RB, as I don't see Michael keeping a weekly fantasy relevant job after a couple of weeks. That would keep from doing this if I were you.
-
I'm on the Kenjon Barner wagon.
-
Brees, Snead, A. Brown and co, Ajayi literally wasn't even in the same state as Foster on Sunday. Brees, Snead and Brown lead me to a big week 1 win.
-
I would. Ware could be a flash in the pan. You aren't deep at RB so I'm not sure gambling on Ware is something your team should do. Murray looks like he has silenced any doubt about Washington taking his job.
-
The last pick in the draft goes to the back of the waiver order. After week 1 the standard setting is based on record with tie breaker being total points for.
-
Winston is still a bit of a match play to me when you have a decent back up like Rivers. He goes up against some terrible defenses throughout this year, but when he plays AZ, Den, Sea, or Car, I'm probably looking elsewhere as of now.
-
I wouldn't panic and I'm not sure Sanders is a big upgrade over Shepard or Sharpe. Landry and Maclin put you behind a bit at WR, but they're still serviceable until the right deal comes along. If you want to upgrade, I'd see how the Jamaal Charles owner is feeling right now. Ware should have carved out a role even when Charles is back, how big of a role remains to be seen. He could be the type of back that leads a lot of teams to championships, or he could fall back into the secondary role of a RBBC. You could try and package him up with a receiver for an upgrade, or you could just go with him, Foster, Shepard, and Sharpe and that should give you enough at flex to keep you afloat.
-
Can someone please explain why the experts like Anderson so much? I see him ranked ahead of Latavius Murray and I can't figure out why. It looks like Murray has a better o-line, has a more proven track record and probably has a longer leash due to the unproven back behind him. I'm in a keeper league and I may be deciding between one of those two or a receiver like a Cooks, Evans, and Jeffery.
-
Had a strong end to his year last year, think it carries over?
-
One of the many knocks on him is the number of balls he drops. Riddick has a role in that offense for that reason.
-
He signed a one year deal after a long stalemate. That should answer your question I think,
-
I try not to rely on tie breakers and I HATE total points for as any sort of standard. May as well just use Tavon Austin and Desean Jackson every week, they'll end up as top 25 guys but getting the majority of their points in 3 random games.
-
If I could make it so everyone on my team had the same bye week I would. I would rather take 1 loss than 3 because I'm short handed for six weeks.
-
Just curious as to why McCoy makes the overrated list? Only healthy running back on a run first team, going as a late RB 1.
-
Yeah thats why you draft both these guys in the 12 and 13th.
