I agree on Sammy Watkins and Marcus lattimore. Maybe not next year, but they'll both be big time players eventually.

Week 14 D/ST s ... whadda ya got
Windstan replied to Captain Goomy Noomy Roo's topic in FFToday Board
I'd stay away from the Eagles this week... I have a feeling that one is going to be a shootout. I have Buffalo for the next couple weeks, but I think I'm going to pick up another for a spot start this week. I don't really like them against TB. Leaning Oakland right now--Geno has been just awful lately, and the raiders looked halfway decent against a much better cowboys offense. I think it's a toss-up between the rams and cards. Both should be pretty good plays this week. I also agree that Houston is a good start. They should be fired up coming off one of their best games of the year and looking for revenge on the Jags. -
This. You should be able to edit the roster before waivers clear, so you should go to commish tools tonight and put gore back on his team, set his lineup with his best players, and then lock his roster.

Heath miller is on my wire so I think I'm going with him over Carlson and housler

Antonio Brown vs Joe Haden. Wildly varying rankings.
Windstan replied to dpbuddha's topic in FFToday Board
I'm probably going to play him in my PPR league. He gets a lot of WR screen passes and short slants, so I feel like he's going to get his catches. If I had him in a standard league though, he'd be on my bench. I think he'll be lucky to top 75 yards and I doubt he finds the end zone this week. -
Is it time to pickup Burleson or Crabtree? or mb Both?
Windstan replied to vino's topic in FFToday Board
I picked up Crabtree in my keeper league only because we can keep waiver adds for an 8th round pick and I think he'll be worth hanging onto for next year. I'm not expecting to put him in my lineup this year. If he starts playing in the next couple weeks and is productive, that's just a bonus. FWIW, last I checked on rotoworld he has been practicing but is still wearing a non-contact jersey. -
Thanks for that. I did know vereen but had no idea that I've been spelling Mathews wrong.

Why Alf? He is 2nd in the NFL with rushing ypg this year (and last year too, I think). There has only been 1 game this season in which he hasn't topped 100 yds or scored a TD. Yes, he's subject to some TD vultures, but you can't beat his consistency.

Dwayne Bowe I can't believe I drafted him AGAIN. Also on my DND list: David Wilson Sjax DMC Ryan Matthews Marques Colston Jared Cook T Rich

Miami Dolphins at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: In-Game Discussion

That was 2 plays in a row where VJax just gave up on his routes. Seems like this bucs team is good for 2 quarters of good football, tops. Then they check out and take the loss. -

Rishard Matthews who? 8 rec for 77 yds and a touchdown in the 1st half! -

Man what a bummer for James, nevermnd my fantasy team. The kid was really starting to take advantage of his opportunity and play well. -
I finally decided to sit him this week. Those of you who started him, you're welcome.
-
In PPR, no. In standard, I'd take a look at James. What he did to Seattle was eye-opening. Isn't there a WR you can drop instead though? Woodhead has been playing really well as of late.
-
I'm playing Woodhead and Fjax over sproles in PPR this week. I'm still holding out hope that he'll see more work in the second half of the season, but he has been a huge disappointment so far (with the obvious exception of his one great game).

Tim Wright TE bucs or C Clay TE Dolphins this week and rest of season.
Windstan replied to CornKobb's topic in FFToday Board
I currently have wright in my lineup but I was thinking about clay. I think this one is kind of a toss-up honestly. I like Wright more for the rest of the season. That's pretty much just a hunch, but his stat lines have been trending in the right direction over the past few weeks. Seattle looks like a bad matchup at first, but they have has actually given up some serviceable games to TEs this year. The way I see it, they have faced 3 decent fantasy TEs so far. Here are the numbers: Greg Olsen, Car: 5, 56, 0 Vernon Davis, SF: 3, 20, 0 Owen Daniels, Hou: 6, 72, 0 No touchdowns, and Davis had a dud, but the numbers aren't quite as bad as I thought they would be. I may be wrong, but I think that might have been the game that Davis hurt his hammy, too. -
Due to bye weeks and injuries, I'm actually starting Vjax and Tim Wright against Seattle this week. I think Seattle is going to have their way with that TB defense so the bucs will be playing from behind, and should throw it a lot. Between the two of them, they have to catch at least 1 TD, right? Now that I said that, watch underwood go all Marvin jones this weekend.

If it's a keeper league, try to build for next year. If it's a redraft league, then try to play spoiler. Don't be a d!ck and have a fire sale or stop paying attention. Nobody likes that guy. Do your friends a solid and keep it competitive. Idea for next year: make a rule that the person who comes in last place or has the least points has to host a draft party, or buy the winner a case of beer, etc. Then the teams near the bottom are playing for something.

OK, I will START the official weekly WW PU's on Monday with out fail... lets start
Windstan replied to snatchit's topic in FFToday Board
I'd expect welker + black & decker to see the bump. Seems like TE would be split between Tamme and Dressen. I'd avoid those two unless you're in a really deep league. Pick up a Wright or Cumberland instead -
This. If you really feel the need to get rid of one of them, work out a trade. Neither should be outright dropped.

Cook totally quit on his route... That interception is on him. What a worthless turd. -

What do you guys think about Marvin Jones? Obviously 4 TDs this week was a fluke, but he has now caught a TD in 3 consecutive games and Dalton seems to trust him. With defenses keying on AJ, I could see Jones continuing to get his share of targets. Tim Wright had a solid game this week, and with Mike Williams going on season-ending IR, I think he'll be a decent play for the rest of the season. I lost Finley and now Orange Julius with the ankle injury and bye week, so I think Wright is my top WW target this week. -
I'm a packers homer and I think Quarless is the guy to own in the near term. Bostick is an extremely athletic kid, but he's raw on running his routes and I get the sense that he still hasn't fully grasped the playbook. I read an interview with him a few days ago where he admitted to having trouble with checks at the line of scrimmage. Quarless is a reliable 4-year vet, and should contribute more right away. Bostick might be a good stash, because I could see him being phased in gradually as he becomes more comfortable with the offense. He's a more gifted athlete than Quarless, and could be a contributor down the stretch. With J-Mike hurt and in a contract year, the packers might want to give bostick a bigger role to see what they have in him.

His value with Campbell seriously can't be any worse than it was with weeden, and he managed to have some solid games with that old fart under center. I would hold, hope he has a good game and then try to trade him in a package deal.

Hillman to be Inactive this weekend vs Redskins
Windstan replied to John Fox's topic in FFToday Board
Did he finally fumble his way onto the bench? Maybe the Wisconsin TD machine starts to see a little more work...
